A
Good
morning
welcome
to
San
Bruno
libraries
live
online
storytime.
It's
so
great
to
see
you
this
morning,
we're
live-streaming
storytime,
every
Tuesday
and
Thursday
at
this
time
at
11:15
right
here
from
the
San
Bruno
library's
children's
room
and
I'm
so
happy
to
be
with
you
this
morning.
Did
you
know
you
can
start
your
summer
reading?
A
If
you
like
at
summer,
San
Bruno
library,
org,
you
can
get
your
reading
log
and
find
out
what
you
have
to
do
to
complete
it
and
then
submit
your
the
fact
that
you
finished
to
be
eligible
for
the
drawing
for
a
thousand
dollar
college
scholarship
at
the
end
of
the
summer.
So
we're
really
excited
to
be
able
to
do
that
in
some
form.
This
summer,
I
like
to
give
a
special
shout
out
this
morning
to
virtual
camp
kaleidoscope
and
all
the
people
that
are
studying,
rainbows
and
sunlight.
A
B
B
A
We
are
gonna,
be
talking
about
rainbows
and
sunshine,
so
we're
gonna
start
out
with
just
a
little
bit
of
each
of
these
books.
So
this
one
is
called
the
science
of
color
investigating
light
by
Karen
electronic
aunt
Kenny
and
published
by
Abdo
publishing,
and
this
one
is
called
rainbows,
never
end
another
fun
fact
by
Laura
Lindy
Sienna
and
hand
Eliot
and
illustrated
by
Pete
Oswald,
and
this
is
published
by
little
Simon
books,
so
I'm
happy
to
be
able
to
read
them
to
you.
A
Sometimes
it
seems
like
suddenly
there's
a
rainbow.
How
does
that
happen?
Heavy
rain
drips
slowly
to
a
stop.
The
storm
is
over
and
the
air
is
heavy
with
water
behind
you.
Dark
clouds
part
to
reveal
gleaming
beams
of
sunlight.
Suddenly,
a
stack
of
red
orange,
yellow,
green
blue
indigo
and
violet
arches
across
the
sky.
The
rainbow
seems
to
appear
out
of
nowhere,
but
its
colors
are
split
from
the
sun's
white
light
mixed
into
the
stormy
sky.
A
Are
water
droplets
each
droplet
acts
as
a
tiny
prism
bending
the
light
sunlight
enters
a
droplet,
the
light
appears
white,
but
it
actually
contains
seven
colors
combined
light
is
always
moving,
but
it
slows
down
in
water
and
bends.
It
bounces
off
the
other
side
of
the
droplet,
the
lights
colors
separate
as
it
bends
again
a
rainbow
exit
to
the
droplet
so
which
the
little
drops
of
water
that
create
the
rainbow
for
us,
I'm
gonna
be
just
a
little
bit
about
that
from
this
book.
Do
you
know
hello?
There
have
you
ever
seen
a
rainbow.
A
It
was
probably
raining
or
just
stopped
raining
right.
Did
you
know
that
rainbows
appear
when
sunlight
hits
drops
of
water
at
just
the
right
angle?
We
know
that
now,
don't
we,
how
about
that?
No
two
people
see
the
same
rainbow
and
that
all
rainbows
are
made
up
of
seven
colors
red
orange,
yellow
green
blue
indigo
and
violet
okay.
So
maybe
you
did
know
these
things,
but
did
you
know
that
rainbows
never
end.
A
That's
right,
although
rainbows
appear
to
be
arcs,
that's
a
half
circle,
they're,
absolutely
all
circles.
The
reason
we
only
see
an
arc
is
because
the
horizon
of
the
earth
blocks
us
from
seeing
the
rest.
The
only
way
you'd
be
able
to
see
the
full
circle
of
a
rainbow
is.
If
you
were
up
in
the
sky,
looking
down
onto
it
and
because
rainbows
are
circles,
that
means
they
don't
have
an
endpoint.
They
just
keep
going
round
and
round
and
round
and
round.
Well,
you
get
maybe
you've
seen
a
rainbow
around
the
moon.
A
So
there's
a
little
bit
about
rainbows
rainbows,
never
end
and
have
a
song
for
us
to
get
us
started
on
the
rainbow
topic
rainbow
a
rainbow.
How
lovely
are
your
colors
red?
What
are
the
colors?
Let's
see,
ROYGBIV
is
a
way
to
remember
it.
So
red
orange,
yellow,
that's
Roy,
green,
that's
G,
blue
indigo,
violet,
so
ro.
Why
G
B,
I,
V,
ROYGBIV,
seven
colors,
o.
B
B
A
A
A
A
B
A
B
A
A
A
A
A
In
the
evening
it
paints
pretty
pictures
in
the
sky.
For
me,
even
in
the
night,
it
sends
some
light
to
keep
me
company.
What
is
that?
Did
you
know
right
there?
The
moon
doesn't
shine
by
itself.
It
reflects
the
light
of
the
Sun
back
to
us
all.
The
stars
in
the
sky
are
beautiful,
but
so
far
the
Sun
is
my
favorite
star
and
that's
the
Sun
as
my
favorite
stunner
by
Frank
Ashe,
nice.
B
A
B
A
A
Water
droplets
are
one-way
lights,
colors
can
be
separated.
The
drops
act
like
a
prism,
so
a
prism
takes
the
sun's
light
and
it
bends
inside
the
prism,
and
then
the
rainbow
comes
out.
Other
things
can
act
as
prisms.
Have
you
ever
held
a
crystal
suncatcher
in
a
sunny
window?
Did
you
see
tiny
rainbow
scatter
around
the
room?
The
Crystal
Sun
culture
is
made
to
be
a
prism.
It
separates
wavelengths
of
the
colors
mixed
in
sunlight,
so
the
different
colors
are
different.
Wavelengths
of
the
light
that's
complicated
and
something
that's
really
fun
to
learn
about.
A
There
are
different
types
of
prisms.
A
simple
prism
has
three
sides
and
three
angles:
it
is
made
of
transparent
or
see-through
material
such
as
glass.
So
here's
a
simple
prism
with
three
sides
when
sunlight
enters
the
prism
at
one
side,
the
light
bends
through
the
angled
surface
as
it
bends
each
colors
wavelength
bends
at
a
slightly
different
angle.
This
is
what
separates
the
colors
and
a
rainbow
becomes
visible
there.
It
is
Lucien
again
so
I
brought
a
Sun
watcher.
A
A
A
A
With
you,
that's
a
song,
maybe
you
know
this
song
I
bet
you
do
and
this
beautiful
beautiful
book.
This
is
called
what
a
wonderful
world
by
George
David,
Weiss
and
Bob
field,
and
it's
song
that
was
made
famous
by
Louis
Armstrong,
and
this
book
is
illustrated
by
Ashley
Bryan
and
it's
published
by
Athenaeum
books
for
young
readers,
so
beautiful.
A
A
A
B
B
The
colors
of
the
rainbow
so
pretty
in
the
sky
are
also
on
the
faces
of
the
people
passing
by
I,
see
friends
shaking
hands,
saying
how
do
you
do
they're
really
saying
I
love
you
I
hear
babies
cry
I
watch
them
grow,
they'll,
learn
much
more
than
I'll
ever
know
and
I.
Think
in
myself,
what
a
wonderful
world.
A
B
Rainbow
rainbow
rainbow
roeme
rainbow
rainbow
rainbow
Rowell
me
when
I
look
outside
my
window.
There's
a
world
of
color
I,
see
fiddle-dee-dee
outside
my
window.
There's
a
world
of
color
I,
see
rainbow
rainbow
rainbow
below
me
rainbow
rainbow
around
me
outside
my
window.
Who
can
be
little
baby
outside
my
window?
It
can
be
rainbow
rainbow
rainbow
row
me
rainbow
Oh
Rainbow
Rowell
me
outside
my
window
is
a
screen.
B
A
screen
can
be
little
D,
D
upside,
my
window
screen
can
be
in
the
sky,
can
be
rainbow
rainbow
rainbow
rainbow
around
me
and
the
Sun
outside
my
window,
yellow
is
yellow,
can
be
see
the
baby
outside
my
window.
It's
as
yellow
as
yellow
can
be.
How
many
crosses
as
green,
it's
being
candy
in
the
sky
is,
as
blue
can
be
rainbow
rainbow
Bebo
Robbie
rainbow
rainbow
around
me
yay.
B
A
Orange
yellow
green
blue
indigo
violet,
so
look
outside
and
see
what
you
see
and
here's
a
hint
indigo
is
the
color
of
blue
jeans.
Alright,
we
have
one
more
story
or
we
close
up
before
you
wind
down
story
time.
This
is
called,
may
there
always
be
sunshine,
and
this
is
by
Jim
Gill
and
illustrated
by
Suzi
signorino
Richards,
and
this
is
also
a
song,
and
if
you
go
to
Jim
gills
YouTube
page,
he
has
a
whole
collection
of
this
song
sung
using
different
illustrations
sent
to
him
by
children.
A
A
A
A
A
Tell
you
what
what
would
you
want
there
always
to
be?
He
has
some
ideas
at
the
back
of
the
book.
Let's
see
look
at
this
it's
a
long
list.
Maybe
you
can
make
a
picture
of
what
you
want
there
always
to
be
spaghetti
happiness,
alligators
and
Yoda's,
strawberry
pie,
bubbles,
hopscotch,
light
bulbs,
merry-go-rounds
canoes,
trampolines,
chocolate,
chip,
cookies,
butterflies
and
rainbows.
Of
course,.
A
Take
a
bus
or
take
a
train,
take
a
boat
or
a
plane
taxi.
Take
a
car,
maybe
near
maybe
far
take
a
rocket
to
the
moon,
but
should
be
sure
to
come
back
soon.
Come
back
soon.
Take
a
bus
or
a
train.
Take
a
boat
or
a
plane.
Take
a
taxi.
Take
a
car,
maybe
near
maybe
far
take
a
rocket
to
the
moon,
but
be
sure
to
come
back
soon,
so
we're
gonna
sing
Earth
by
song
and
then
we'll
have
our
pretend
hand
stamp
and
I'll.
Tell
you
about
our
next
story
time
well,.
B
A
