titled.
Blood
pressure
may
control
the
goal.
To
give
you
some
tips
on
how
to
better
manage
your
blood
pressure,
come
down
to
the
San
Bruno
Senior
Center
for
the
free
blood
pressure
and
glucose
test
on
Friday
january
thirtieth
from
9
30
to
11
a.m.
it
is
definitely
winter,
and
that
means
it
is
super
chilly.
We
all
want
to
keep
warm
during
these
wintry
months,
but
sometimes
the
methods
we
use
can
be
dangerous.
A
Did
you
know
that
about
900
portable
heater
fires
are
reported
to
fire
departments
each
year
and
caused
an
estimated
seventy
depth,
150
injuries
and
53
million
dollars
in
property
loss?
Only
two
percent
of
heating
fires
involve
portable
heaters.
However,
portable
heaters
are
involved
in
forty
five
percent
of
all
fatal
heating.
Fires
in
home.
Here
are
some
tips
to
help
prevent
a
portable
heater
fire
in
your
home.
A
This
winter
first
be
sure
to
turn
heaters
off
when
you
go
to
bed
or
leave
a
room,
keep
anything
that
can
burn
such
as
bedding,
clothing
and
curtains
at
least
three
feet
away
from
heaters.
Only
use
portable
heaters
that
have
been
tested
by
a
recognized
testing
laboratory
and
only
use
ones
with
an
automatic
shutoff
so
that,
when
they
tip
over
they'll
turn
off
make
sure
to
plug
portable
heaters
directly
into
outlets,
never
use
an
extension
cord
or
power
strip.
Following
these
simple
tips
can
keep
you
warm,
while
also
keeping
your
home
and
family
safe.
A
If
you
have
any
business
that
you
need
to
take
care
of
with

Bruno,
please

and
police
emergency
services
will
still
be
available.
All
offices
will
reopen
on
tuesday
january
twentieth,
well
that
just
about
wraps
it
up
for
this
edition
of
what's
happening
around
town
for
January
2015,
I'm
your
