join
us
at
the
library
on
thursday
afternoons
and
monday
evenings
this
july
on
account
of
the
drought.
The
city
of
san
bruno
has
asked
residents
and
businesses
last
january
to
conserve
water
to
help
meet
the
ten
percent
voluntary
reduction
goal
that
will
help
preserve
both
the
valuable
resources
of
the
Hetch
Hetchy
watershed
and
our
own
local
groundwater
resources.
A
So
far
in
2014,
residents
have
reduced
their
water
consumption
by
2%,
and
all
citywide
users
have
reduced
their
water
consumption
by
five
percent.
The
city
is
encouraged
by
these
early
results.
However,
if
the
ten
percent
goal
is
not
achieved,
mandatory
reduction
requirements
may
be
adopted.
The
city
has
free
low-flow,
showerheads
five
minute
shower
timers,
as
well
as
free
bathroom
and
kitchen
faucet,
aerators,
all
of
which
can
be
obtained
at
the
City
Hall
public
services,
counter
from
real
ways
to
conserve
water,
go

city's
water
website

A
Also
on
account
of
the
drought.
It
has
been
such
a
dry
year
that
it
seems
as
if
our
pretty
green
hills
have
always
been
a
golden
brown.
This
means
it
is
time
for
weed
abatement,
especially
if
you
live
in
the
hills.
Proper
clearance
to
100
feet
dramatically
increases
the
chance
of
your
house
surviving
a
wildfire.
A
This
defensible
space
also
provides
for
firefighter
safety
when
protecting
homes
during
a

great
tips
on
how
to
make
sure
your
home
and
loved
ones
are
safe
in
the
event
of
a
wildfire
in
your
neighborhood.
That's
just
about
wraps
things
up
for
me

what's
happening
