a

will
be
held
in
early
February
contact,
the
Senior
Center
for
more
information
and
to
apply
it
may
have
been
a
bit
confusing
in
the
past
few
months,
knowing
whether
a
senior
class
or
program
is
happening
at
the
Senior
Center
or
at
the
Recreation
Center.
Due
to
the
ongoing
construction
caused
by
the
truck
accident
that
damaged
the
Senior
Center
building
many
senior
activities
continue
to
be
held
at
the
recreation
center.
A
Another
point
of
confusion
is
all
of
the
phone
calls
people
have
been
receiving
asking
for
your
personal
information.
Identity
theft
is
on
the
rise
and
oftentimes
being
kind
over.
The
phone
is
the
worst
thing
you
can
do.
The
San
Bruno
Police
Department
can
help
you
figure
out
who
is
on
the
up-and-up
and
who
is
it
good.
B
What
did
I
do
wrong
what
happened
and
before
they
really
give
it
much
thought
they're
on
the
phone
calling
that
phone
number
back,
which
of
course
is
not
the
IRS,
because
that's
not
how
they
do
business
and
they're
speaking
of
someone
who's
likely
not
in
the
United
States,
and
that
person
directs
them
to
do
one
of
several
ways
of
payment.
The
one
that
we
see
the
most
is
the
green
dot
card.
B
Now
Green
Dot
is
just
a
company
that
sells
the
prepaid
card
and
it
can
be
a
prepaid,
mastercard
or
a
prepaid,
Visa
and
they'll
direct
that
person
to
go
to
their
local
CVS
or
Walgreens
or
Walmart,
or
any
number
of
stores
that
carry
that
card
and
they'll
direct
them
to
put
three
four
five
six
hundred
dollars
on
that
card
and
then
they'll
ask
them
to
mail
it
to
please.
If
that
happens,
to
you
don't
respond,
please
let
us
know
use
us
as
a
resource.
Generally
speaking.
B
B
If
they
provide
you
with
the
phone
number
I
would
encourage
you
not
to
use
that
phone
number.
If
you
believe
that
it's
a
true
pje
phone
call,
then
use
lookup,
P
Jeanne's
phone
number,
either
in
your
phone
book
around
the
internet
and
call
back
and
inquire
with
PGE
directly
if
it's
from
your
credit
card
company
use
the
number
that's
on
the
back
of
your
card,
call
them
back
directly
and
deal
with
them.
If
it's
from
the
IRS
call
your
local
field
office,
remember
that
you
can
always
call
the
police
department,
we
are
an
excellent
resource.
B
We
have
kind
of
a
finger
on
the
pulse
of
what's
going
on
what
type
of
scams
are
prevalent
present
today
and
will
certainly
be
a
resource
to
you
to
help
you
decipher
whether
or
not
the
information
that
you've
received
is
accurate
or
someone.
That's
just
fishing
for
your
information
or,
more
importantly,
your
money.

portable
heaters
are
convenient
and
easy
to
use.
Yet
about
900.
Portable
heater
fires
are
reported
to
fire
departments
each
year
and
cause
an
estimated
70
deaths,
150
injuries
and
53
million
dollars
in
property
loss,
while
only
2%
of
heating
fires
involve
portable
heaters.
A
Forty-Five
percent
of
all
fatal
heating
fires
in
homes
involve
portable
heaters.
Here
are
some
tips
to
help
prevent
a
portable
heater
fire
in
your
home.
This
winter
first
be
sure
to
turn
heaters
off
when
you
go
to
bed
or
leave
the
room,
keep
anything
that
can
burn
such
as
bedding
clothing
and
curtains
at
least
3
feet
away
from
the
heaters.
A
Only
use
portable
heaters
that
have
been
tested
by
a
recognized
testing
laboratory
and
with
an
automatic
shutoff
so
that,
if
they
tip
over
they'll
turn
off
most
of
the
newer
models
have
the
automatic,
shut
off
and
plug
portable
heaters
directly
into
outlets.
Don't
use
an
extension
cord
or
power
strip
to
learn
more
about
portable
heaters
and
fire
safety.
