If
you
are
over
fifty
and
sitting
at
home,
wondering
what
you
are
going
to
do
today.
Why
don't
you
come
to
the
Senior
Center?
There's,
always
something
fun
going
on
and
a
lot
of
fun
people
to
meet
to,
for
example,
on
Friday
March
16th,
the
st.
Patrick's
Day
party
will
take
place
starting
at
10:30
in
the
morning,
swing

will
provide
live
music
and,
of
course,
we
will
have
a

at
noon.
Get
your
tickets
at
the
reception
desk
for
the
st.
Patrick's
Day
party
on
Friday
March
16th.
A
Is
it
tough
to
get
your
kids
and
grandkids
to
talk
on
the
phone
with
you?
How
would
you
like
to
learn
a
little
bit
about
social
media?
The
senior
centers
very
own
Computer
Club
will
hold
a
free
demonstration
on
Facebook
and
Twitter.
This
will
give
you
two
new
ways
to
chop
up
a
kid:
no
need
to
register
just
stop
by
the
computer
room
at
the
Senior
Center
on
Thursday
March
22nd
to
tweet,
1,
&,
3
p.m.
A
come
to
the
free
health
screening
on
Friday
March
23rd
from
9:00
a.m.
until
11
at
registered
nurse
will
check
your
cholesterol,
blood
pressure,
blood
glucose
levels,
body
mass
index
and
weeks.
A
12
hour
test
is
required
prior
to
the
cholesterol
screening.
The
health
screening
is
sponsored
by
Bill's
Peninsula
senior
focus.
If
you
are
interested
in
the
free
health
screening,
you
must
pre-register
contact
the
senior
center
at
six
one,
six,
seven
one
five
zero
for
details.
A
Do
you
know
what
an
internet
exchange
purchases
it
is
where
people
meet
with
strangers
in
person
whom
they
have
encountered
online
to
exchange
cash
for
products?
These
exchanges
have
increased
in
popularity,
which
adds
to
the
vulnerability
of
those
participating
in
these
transactions.
Although
it
is
rare,
there
have
been
cases
of
fraud
and
incidence
of
theft
reported
during
some
of
these
exchange.
In
order
to
combat
these
types
of
crime,
the
San
Bruno
Police
Department
has
designated
an
internet
exchange
zone
just
outside
of
the
police
stations
front
doors,
creating
a
level
of
security.
A
During
these
exchanges,
the
area
is
designated
by
a
sign
and
the
immediate
area
is
monitored
and
recorded
by
video
cameras.
There
is
also
an
emergency
button
at
this
location
that,
when
pushed
contact,
the
police
dispatcher,
the
San
Bruno
police,
encouraged
those
seeking
to
make
these
transactions
to
take
advantage
of
this
new
internet
exchange
zone.
A
So
the
library
has
teamed
up
with
some
furry
friends
to
be
available
to
be
read
to
on
the
second
Friday
of
each
month
from
3:30
until
4:30
p.m.
bring
your
child
in
to
read
to
the
therapy
dogs
and
their
handlers.
This
event
is
free
to
the
public
and
is
attended
for
children
5
years
old
and
come
to
paws
for
tails
on
Friday
March
9th
from
3:30
it's
a
4:30
p.m.
in
the
libraries
downstairs
community
room.
A
Although
the
current
Lea's
pantry's
food
smarts
nutrition
workshop
already
started
on
January
23rd,
there
is
still
room
for
newcomers
to
learn
how
to
prepare
it.
Simple,
inexpensive,
nutritious
meals
for
your
family
Lea's
pantry
takes
place
on
Tuesdays
from
6:30
until
7:30
p.m.
and
it's
made
possible
by
a
grant
from
Seton
Medical
Center
all
ages
are
welcome
and
it's
free
to
attend.
But
kids,
please
bring
a
grown-up
along
join
us
for
Lea's
pantry
on
Tuesday
nights
at
San,
Bruno
library,.
A
To
make
more
of
the
daylight
hours
daylight
savings
time
will
begin
on
Sunday
March
11th
at
2:00
a.m.
this
means
that
we
spring
forward
one
hour.
It
is
also
recommended
that
we
use
this
day
as
a
reminder
to
change
the
batteries
out
of
smoke,
alarms
and
carbon
monoxide
detectors.
If
you
regularly
change
the
batteries
every
six
months,
you
can
be
sure
that
these
life-saving
devices
will
work
and
keep
you
and
your
loved
ones
safe.
A
Avenue,
water
and
sewer
mains
continue.
Businesses
have
remained
open.
We
thank
you
for
your
patience
for
any
inconvenience.
This
may
cause
you
for
the
duration
of
the
construction.
This
work
allows
for
a
continued
fresh
water
supply
and
less
they
were
backups
for
years
to
come,
stay
tuned
right
here
to
your
San,
Bruno
cables,
local
channel
one
for
City,
Council,
Planning,
Commission
and
school
board,
meeting
and
four
episodes
of
senior

and

upon
a
time
