A
A
The
hotter
and
drier
climate
is
causing
our
snowpack
to
melt
and
evaporate
faster,
leaving
us
with
less
water.
This
is
the
third
year
of
severe
drought
and
it
won't
be
the
last.
The
city
of
san
bruno
has
activated
level
two
of
the
san
bruno
water
shortage.
Contingency
plan,
which
means
all
water
customers
are
required
to
adhere,
restrict
run-off
from
landscape
irrigation.
A
This
means
watering
just
enough,
but
not
so
much
that
the
water
flows
out
of
your
yard
and
into
the
storm
drain
water
before
9
am
or
after
4
pm,
follow
this
irrigation
schedule.
If
your
property
has
an
odd
numbered
address,
only
water
on
mondays
and
thursdays,
even
numbered
addresses,
can
water
on
tuesdays
and
fridays.
A
A
Have
you
heard
of
reach
code?
Reach
codes
are
local
code
requirements
that
exceed
the
energy
code
and
green
building
standards
code.
The
adoption
of
reach
codes
aligns
with
the
state
of
california's
aim
to
reduce
greenhouse
gas
emissions
by
reducing
the
reliance
on
natural
gas
and
gasoline
and
using
more
electric
energy.
A
In
march
of
this
year,
staff
recommended
to
city
council
that
all
electric
reach
codes
apply
to
any
new
construction
within
the
city
of
san
bruno.
Now
we
want
to
hear
from
you.
There
will
be
two
public
hearings
at
the
city
council
meetings
this
month
for
more
information
on
what
reach
codes
are
and
how
they
will
impact.
You
will
be
discussed
at
length.
A
A
Have
you
been

falls.
A
Prevention
awareness
day
falls
are
the
leading
cause
of
injury,
related
emergency
department
visits,
and
this
day
is
used
to
address
this
public
health
issue
falls
can
be
more
dangerous
than
they
might
seem.
They
can
cause
bruising
hip
fractures
and
head
injuries,
and
these
accidents
have
the
potential
to
be
fatal,
especially
for
the
elderly,
and
once
someone
falls
for
the
first
time
it
becomes
much
more
likely
that
they
will
fall
again.
A
A
A
Are
you
good
with
computers?
Would
you
be
able
to
show
someone
the
basics
of
using
their
new
mac,
pc
or
other
electronic
device?
The
san
bruno
senior
center
computer
club
is
looking
for
volunteers
to
assist
older
adults
with
various
aspects
of
technology.
The
computer
club
meets
mondays
through
thursdays
from
1
to
3
p.m.
At
the
san
bruno
senior
center.
A
It
is
easy
to
find
the
activity
guide
go
to
san

click
on
the

button
on
the
home
page.
On

night
in
september
the
movies
will
be
shown
near
the
tennis
courts
in

warm
to
wear
a
chair
or

to
sit
on
and
don't
forget
the
popcorn
movies
in
the

free
to
the

In
last
month's
edition,
we
discussed
the
closure
of
san
bruno
city
parkway
due
to
the
construction
happening
on
the
new
recreation
and
aquatic
center.
I
know
that
I
have
more
questions
about
the
project,
so
I
did
a
little
research
and
did
you
know
that
there
is
a
whole
page
on
the
city's
website,
all
about
it.

A
This
means
that
if
you
are
still
using
a
standard
definition-
cable
box,
like
the
one
you
see
here,
you
will
need
to
turn
to
channel
10
to
watch
your
local
channel
one.
All
the
programming
will
be
the
same
on
both
channels.
The
only
difference
will
be
that
one
is
standard
definition
and
the
other
is
hd.
