library.
A
Halloween
is
a
wonderful
holiday,
but
because
the
streets
are
literally
crawling
with
all
sorts
of
witches
ghosts,
vampires
and
other
costumed
people
potential
for
automobile
related
accidents
increases
dramatically.
Drivers
must
take
the
responsibility
to
drive
safer
than
normal.
Some
people
drive
their
kids
into
subdivisions,
then
follow
behind
the
children
in
the
car.
This
can
cause
traffic
jams
as
well
as
a
lot
of
confusion
as
kids
start
in
between
cars.
Drivers
who
are
distracted
by
watching
their
children
aren't
paying
attention
to
much
else.
A
Please
walk
with
your
children
from
house
to
house,
don't
use
the
cell
phone
or
other
electronic
devices
while
driving
pay
extra
attention,
particularly
at
crosswalks
intersections
and
the
side
of
the
road
keep
scanning
all
around
you.
As
you
drive
drive
slower
than
the
posted
speed
limit
in
residential
areas
during
trick-or-treat
hours.
This
will
allow
time
to
break
up
a
child
darts
into
the
street.
Parents,
make
sure
your
child
carries
a
flashlight
glow
stick
or
has
reflective
tape
on
their
costume
to
make
them
more
visible.
A
A
No
sooner
than
you
get
used
to
the
idea
that
it
is
on
toe
burn
and
then
it
will
soon
be
november.
The
return
to
standard
time
begins
at
two
a.m.
on
the
first
sunday
in
november,
which
is
sunday
november.
First,
this
year
turn
clocks
back
by
one
hour,
ideally
a
Fed
time
on
the
Saturday
night
before
remember
spring
forward
and
fall
back,
and
when
you
reset
your
clocks
go
ahead
and
change
out
the
batteries
in
your
home
smoke
detectors.
It
is
suggested
that
you
change
out
the
batteries
twice
yearly,
so
remembering
to
change
them.
A
When
you
change,
the
clocks
is
a
good
way
to
make
sure
that
these
life-saving
devices
work
when
you
need
them
October.
Fourth,
through
October
10
is
Fire
Prevention
Week
and
the
message
this
is
hear
the
beep,
where
you
sleep,
every
bedroom
needs
a
working
smoke,
alarms
be
sure
to
install
smoke,
alarms
in
every
bedroom
outside
each
separate
sleeping
area
and
on
every
level
of
the
home,
including
the
basement.
A
It's
halfway
the
larger
the
home,
the
more
smoke
alarms
you
may
need
so
be
sure
to
have
smoke,
alarms
where
they
will
do
the
most
good
and
check
that
the
batteries
work
every
six
months.
It
has
been
my
pleasure
to
bring
you
the
October
edition
of
what's
happening
around
town
I'm

tennis
have
fun
the
Halloween.
