There
has
been
a
recent
increase
in
the
number
of
burglaries
here
in
the
Bay
Area
and
in
brno
officer.
Sean
great
house
has
more
information
to
keep
you
and
your
loved
ones
safe.
My.
B
Name
is
Sean
great
house
I'm,
a
police
officer
with
the
city
of
san
bruno,
and
I'm
here
today,
just
to
let
you
know
that
there
has
been
a
recent
rise
in
residential
burglaries
with
in
san
bruno
and
other
seas
with
in
san
mateo
county,
and
we're
really
asking
the
public
to
partner
with
us
to
help
try
to
stop
these
burglaries
from
occurring.
The
type
of
burglaries
that
we're
having
are
basically
what
we
would
refer
to
as
a
door
knock
burglary.
So
it's
a
crime
of
opportunity
and
it's
really
happening
all
over
the
city.
B
It's
not
reduced
to
just
one
location,
so
we're
really
seeking
the
public's
help
and
partnering
with
us
to
really
try
to
do
what
we
can
do
to
minimize
their
exposure
and
having
their
homes
broken
into.
What
we're
seeing
is
that
if
people
are
not
answering
the
door
that
what
these
suspects
are
doing
is
they're
basically,
then
once
they
decide
that
there's
no
one
there.
There
then
going
around
the
homes
perimeter
looking
for
an
open
opportunity
to
come
into
your
home,
an
open
window,
an
open
door
and
possibly
even
looking
for
an
entrance
point.
B
B
It's
really
important
that
you
know
we
get
your
help
again.
If
you
see
something
that
does
not
belong
in
your
neighborhood,
you
need
to
let
us
know
so
that
we
can
come
and
take
a
look.
We
ask
that
you
not
do
anything
other
than
be
a
great
witness.
Vehicle
description
suspect
descriptions
vehicle
license
plates
anything
you
can
do
to
help
us,
that's
what
we're
asking
from
the
public.
So
please
don't
go
into
your
home
if
you
come
home
and
you
find
that
it's
been
broken
into.
B
B
If
you
don't
have
your
cell
phone
go
to
a
neighboring
home,
use
their
phone
call,
let
us
know
if
you
can
pay
attention,
you
know,
watch
the
front
of
the
house
see
if
anyone
comes
or
goes
from
your
residence
if
a
car
pulls
up
out
front
and
someone
comes
out
to
the
car
and
they
drive
away,
that's
important
for
us
to
know
again.
We
need
you
to
be
the
best
witness
that
you
can
be.
Those
witnesses
you
know
are
going
to
help
us
to
try
to
find
out
who
those
people
are.
B
We
at
the
police
department
certainly
want
to
be
the
people
who
deal
with
these
individuals.
I
mean
these
folks
are
out
committing
crime
and
because
they're
committing
crime
we
certainly
don't
want
you
to
get
in
their
way.
There
is
no
piece
of
property
that
you
can
lose
or
would
lose.
That
would
be
worth
you
being
harmed
or
a
family
member
being
harmed.
So
when
you
see
these
things,
I
think
the
thing
that
we
need,
the
very
most
from
you,
is
to
communicate
with
us
so
that
we
can
come
and
help
again.
B
We
know
that
these
crimes
are
going
on
and
we
are
doing
our
very
best
to
fight
these
crimes
and
by
doing
so,
that's
why
we're
really
trying
to
get
the
public
to
help
us
we're
empowering
you
to
help
us
and
we're
just
asking
that
you
be
the
best
witness
that
you
can
be
and
call
us
immediately,
911
anytime,
that
you
feel
like
there's
something
life-threatening
or
an
emergency.
That's
occurring!
Please
get
on
that
phone
and
call
us
for.

Daylight
savings
time
begins
on
Sunday
March
knife
at
2am.
This
means
that
we
spring
forward
one
hour.
It
is
also
recommended
that
we
use
this
day
as
a
reminder
to
change
the
batteries
out
of
smoke
detectors
and
carbon
monoxide
detectors.
A
If
you
regularly
change
the
batteries
every
six
months,
you
can
be
sure
that
these
life-saving
devices
will
work
and
keep
you
and
your
family
safe.
This
has
been
one
of
the
driest
years
on
record
across
the
state
of
California.
It
is
so
serious
that
Governor
Brown
has
declared
a
drought
emergency.
The
city
of
San
Bruno
is
asking
residents
and
businesses
to
voluntarily
reduce
water
consumption
by
ten
percent.
To
help
preserve
this
most
valuable
for
water
conservation

A
2014
marks
the
