Is comprised of seven members, each serving a four year term.
Serves as a public forum for the discussion of downtown parking issues.
We review, evaluate, and make recommendations to the City Council regarding the City's downtown parking programs, the health and financial stability of the parking fund, and the use of parking revenues.
We also review and make recommendations on downtown parking needs; including the expansion, addition or improvement of parking facilities, programs and parking operations.

The City Council is the final decision making body of the City, and the board acts on all matters referred to it by the council.

Traffic Safety Cameras in San José – Zoom Webinar, August 24, 2022

San José is installing license plate reader cameras at City intersections to improve traffic and public safety.
Join the City’s Digital Privacy Officer, San José Police Department, and Department of Transportation to learn more.

This video provides an overview of the street designs for the En Movimiento Quick-Strike Project. The project will redesign street segments in six projects included in the East San José Multimodal Transportation Improvement Plan area. The projects will make these streets safer and more welcoming for people walking, biking, or taking the bus.

The six project sites are along portions of:

1. 21st Street
2. 28th Street
3. 33rd Street
4. Jose Figueres Avenue, Scharff Avenue, and Packing Place
5. Sunset Avenue
6. William Street and Court
