tried

purchase

scooped
it
up
because
of
the

affordable

therefore
exempt

the
community
benefits
agreement
ordinance

even
though
they're
not
subject

the

benefits
agreement
ordinance.
This
development
team
had
multiple
meetings

the
community

what's

funding.
Agreement
really
was
in
response
to
what
they
heard
from
the
community.

The
development
initialities
was
proposed
at
456
units,
but
because
of
those
Community
meetings,
the
units
was
reduced
to

funding
agreements
addresses

22nd
Street,

an
exhibit

extending
the
southbound
turn

crime
prevention
through
environmental
design

commitments

as
porch
roll

crisis

needing
housing

people

good
neighbor
notice

Richmond

concerns.

didn't
get
it
all
that
we
requested,
but
I
do
believe
that
they
they
did
a
fair
effort
to
listen
to
the
community,
at
least
the
neighborhood
surrounding,
and
then
it
extended
Beyond
and
I'm
on
the
e-board.

Public
Safety
Committee
over
in
East
Tampa,
recently
came
up
with
some
great
ideas,
so
we're
hoping
that
with
Mobility
City
of
Tampa,
the
CRA
we
can
come
together
and
find
a
way
to
support
the
project
and
Richmond
is
on
the
ground,
doing
the
Outreach
to
say,
they're
supporting
it
as
well,
not
only
as
a
realtor
in
this
city,
one
of
their
projects
is
over
on
Grady
Square.
It
was
a
signature
project
for
me.
I
use
it
all
the
time
as
a
model
for
what's
coming
in
Tampa.

they
built
it,
so
I
was
hoping
that
this
project
would
be
the
you

the
wow
factor
for
East
Tampa
out

all
the
developers,
that's

city,
Richmond

probably
top
tier
of
most
of
them,
so
this

signature
project

wow
factor

Tampa,

see
it
happen

wait

short
today

hour
total
background
traffic
was
less
than
30
cars
over
the
course
of
an
hour
making
each
of
those
movements
so
very
low
traffic
and
then
just
striping
back
out
in
the
transition
area.
The
concern
with
putting
out
a
raised
median
out
there
it
on
a
two-lane,
undivided
roadway
like
this.
It
really
makes
it
difficult
to
make
Maneuvers.
It
introduces
an
object
in
the
middle
of
the
road.
You
know,
particularly
at
night
you'll
get
people
driving
along
that,
don't
see
a
raised
separator.
So
that's
why
we
proposed
it
a
striped.

when
we
go
through
permitting
and
Engineering
we're
happy
to
let
the
engineering
stuff
look
at
it
give
us
their
opinion.
We
don't
have
real
issues
with
some
of
this
being
raised,
but
from
a
safety
standpoint,
I
think
they're

little
better
striped
and
yes
you're
going
to
have
some
movements,
but
the
volumes
are
relatively
low
and
again
the
big
part
was
being
able
to
extend
the
southbound
left
traffic
that
gets
the
people
out
of
the
travel
Lane
as
they
approach
Hillsborough
Avenue.

program
and

procurement

them

exist

how
we
procured
stand-up
scooters
the
sit
down
scooter
program
that

currently
active

the
e-bike
program.

stand-up
scooters,
however,
were
challenged,
that

the
Hillsborough
County
court
right
now,

the
courthouse
right
now
with
judge
Nash
and
they
have
all
the
documentation.

the
party
that
challenged
it

requested

hearing
that
is
scheduled
in
September.
We
do
expect
a
favorable
outcome,
of
course,

no
guarantee
of
that,
but
in
September
we
will
be
able
to,

move
forward
to
the
next

extension

pilot
program

revenues

funded
our

working

Tampa
Bay
beautiful
because
they
fish

20
scooters
out
every
quarter
when
they
go
out
there
for
cleanups.

we're
making
the
scooter
companies
pay
for
it

those
fees
not
be
sufficient,
we
do
have
the
controls
to
raise
them.
What
we
don't
have
are
the
rules
which
are
in
the
new
program
and
those
rules
are
still
relevant
to
this
day.

should
this
matter
be
resolved

September,
we
feel
good
about
moving
forward
with
a
much
better.

expense
and
cost
expense.

is
to
do
that
at
the
last
minute.
If,
when
you
get
the
recommended
budget,

somewhere
down
the
line,

mayor
recommends
a
maximum
millage
rate
and
notifies
the
Department
of
Revenue
of
a
maximum
millage
rate
that
is
less
than
what
the
legislative
body
wants.

hands
tied
to
the
maximum
millage
rate
that
was
sent

the
Department
of
Revenue,

required
by
state
law,
in
this

August

this
is
really
two

Charter
now
has
how
long
in
advance

has
to
be
presented
to
city
council

County

theirs

think

issue

the
maximum
millage
rate
is
necessary
to
be
discussed

issue

in
a
position
where
you
cannot

what
you
want
to

legislative

you
are
precluded
by
something
that

done

employees
and

deserve
to
be
compensated

being
said,
the
city
of
Tampa
is
growing.

have

needs

city

infrastructure
that
we
have
to
maintain,
and
my
observation,
as
a
citizen,
you
know

plus
year,
citizen
here,
is
that
we're
not
doing
a
good
job
of
maintaining
our
infrastructure.
So
at
the
same
time
we
had
to
maintain
our
infrastructure.

grow
infrastructure
because
people
keep
going
and
we
have
to
build
things,
and

have
to
do
things
so
the
needs
of
the
city
of
Tampa
are
not
being
met.

roads
that
need
to
be
paved.

sidewalks

installed
where
we
don't
have
sidewalks.

parks
that
need
to
be
maintained,
regardless
of
the
increase
in
the
number
of
parks

capability

need
to

compensate

growth

current
parks
are,
in
many
cases
dilapidated.

our

have
resiliency

dealt

as
we
deal
with
climate
change
and
rising
sea

being

sure

two
billion
dollar
budget
that
we
can
go
through,
we
can
find
we

some
areas
that
we
can
make
some
improvements.

that
we

a

the
bill
and
just
give
you
a
summary
about
the
bill
itself
and

right

to
hear
from
the
community.

them

we

they

were

and
how
they
were

would
implement
this
item

on
June
23rd
we
took
the
presentation
to
the
affordable
housing
advisory
committee.

preempts
local
Authority
in

density

development

that
locals
shall
consider
reduced
parking.
So
we
also

in
the
legislative
language.
It
requires
that
you
use
Land
Development
regulations
for
multi-family
zoning.

a
project
going
into
a
commercial
site,
you
use
your

Land,
Development
regs

multi-family
zoning,
there's
a
surplus
land
component
to
this
new
law
and,
as
you
know,
we
do
prepare
an
inventory

three
years

new
list
would
be
prepared
by
October
1
of
2023.
It
must
be
published.
It
includes
your
dependent
Special
Districts,
such
as
the
CRA
properties
that
are
available
to
either
be
subject
to
a
long-term
lease
or
subject
to
sale

adopt

practices

we

to

this
property

bill,
