I'm
here
number
four
written
comments:
announcements,
supplemental
packets,
continuances,
mr
parker;.
A
Now
tonight
chair,
I
wanted
to
just
briefly
make
a
quick
comment.
Our
thoughts
and
prayers
go
out
to
the
bryant
out
to
belly
and
chester
families
with
regard
to
the
helicopter
crash
that
took
place
yesterday.
A
Personally.
For
me,
the
impact
kobe
had
on
the
world
and
specifically
the
city
of
thousand
oaks
through
his
affiliation
with
the
mamba
sports
academy,
and
many
other
programs
and
activities
cannot
be
expressed
in
words,
at
least
not
by
me,
I'd
like
to
see
on
behalf
of
the
city
of
thousand
oaks
and
all
of
those
people
like
my
son
and
I
who
actually
appreciate
and
reveled
in
his
accomplishments.
A
B
Excuse
me,
mine
didn't
come
up,
so
I
don't
know
what's
going
to
happen
later
on
in
the
meeting,
but
if
you
want
you
can
record
your
your
oral,
your
vote
orally.
I
I
approve
the
minutes.
A
All
right
item:
seven
public
hearing.
Mr
parker,
did
you
have
a
comment.
C
A
hearing
having
been
advertised
as
required
by
law,
is
hereby
open
to
consider
agenda
item
7a
to
approve
special
use,
permit
number
sup
2019-70948
to
allow
scheduled
indoor
live
entertainment
consisting
of
acoustic
music,
children's
programs
and
karaoke
for
customers
and
hotel
guests
at
an
existing
restaurant.
The
original
pizza
cookery
located
at
75,
west
thousand
oaks
boulevard
and
the
applicant
is
jordan
klempner.
The
the
original
pizza
cookery.
D
Presenting
tonight
will
be
tabitha
mcatee
tabitha's,
one
of
the
newly
appointed
assistant
planners
in
the
community
development
department.
This
is
actually
tabitha's
first
presentation
before
the
planning
commission
this
evening,
so
we
were
very
excited
to
have
her.
Take
this
next
step
in
her
career
and
accompanying.
Her
is
kari
finley
one
of
our
planning
managers.
F
F
F
Here
you
can
see
the
subject
property
that
contains
the
restaurant
and
hotel
lobby.
Building
this
building
is
separate
from
the
hotel
building
that
is
located
on
an
adjacent
property
to
the
north.
Above
the
red
line
shown
on
the
aerial
map,
the
nearest
residence
is
located
1390
feet
away
across
the
101
freeway.
F
F
F
F
F
F
The
live,
entertainment
use
is
consistent
with
the
general
plan
municipal
code
and
underlying
development
permits.
It
will
not
have
a
detrimental
impact
to
the
hotel
or
restaurant
or
surrounding
neighborhood,
since
this
is
an
incidental
use
to
the
proposed
restaurant
and
the
to
the
existing
restaurant
and
the
nearest
residences
across
the
101
freeway
live.
Entertainment
is
in
conjunction
with
food
service
at
a
restaurant
that
should
not
generate
noise,
parking
or
traffic
impacts
greater
than
those
associated
with
the
existing
commercial
activity.
F
Staff
is
recommending
that
the
planning
commission
approve
this
project
based
on
the
findings
and
subject
to
the
conditions
of
approval,
and
I
do
have
one
housekeeping
item.
The
entitlement
number
listed
in
the
staff
report
and
draft
resolution
in
the
underlying
permit
section
listed
as
sup
86-663
should
be
listed
as
sup
1968-43.
E
E
A
You
miss
mcatee
I'll,
just
have
just
two
quick
ones:
the
stage
that
was
on
the
diagram,
that's
already
in
the
premises
right,
they're,
not
there's.
No
new
construction,
correct.
A
And
the
the
permit
we're
providing
it's
subject
to
approval,
to
the
extent
that
they
want
to
assign
to
somebody
else,
it
doesn't
run
with
the
land
correct.
F
I
don't
believe
so.
Maybe
kari
wants
to
chime
in.
B
A
And
one
last
question
on
condition:
12
again,
I
just
want
to
make
sure
I'm
clear
it
talks
about
how
the
permit
is
good
for
three
years,
or
at
least
it
has
to
be
inaugurated
within
a
three
year
period.
A
F
A
A
A
Thing
can
you
actually
say
your
your
names
in
city
of
residence?
Oh.
G
Absolutely
barbara
paul
simi
valley.
G
So
one
of
the
things
that
we
really
feel
the
community
needs
and-
and
we
have
a
young
daughter
as
well-
who
is
a
singer-
songwriter-
is
more
community
events
for
kids
and
that's
one
thing
that
we
feel
really
strongly
about
is
bringing
kids
in
with
music
either
karaoke.
Just
just
you
know
just
to
sing,
or
we
want
to
have
musical
programs
where
they
you
know,
can
practice
and
come
in
and
have
like
a
family
couple
hours
on
a
saturday
or
sunday
afternoon.
G
You
know
invite
the
grandparents,
the
aunts,
the
uncles,
the
friends
and
just
make
it
a
nice
event
for
them.
The
bar
is
more
done.
Like
a
speakeasy,
we
have
no
intentions
of
loud
rock
and
roll.
We
will
need
some
amplification,
but
that's
just
basically
like
you
know,
soft
acoustic,
jazz
nights
and,
and
you
know,
guitar
nights
and
and
then
some
adult
karaoke
as
well.
A
A
E
G
A
E
I'd
like
to
make
a
quick
comment
for
the
applicant:
how
would
you
market
your
your
concert,
schedule
or
your
events?
Is
there
a
discussion.
A
One
problem,
commissioner:
we
actually
closed
the
public
hearing.
I'm.
E
Sure
can
ask
go
ahead.
Thank
you.
Has
the
applicant
made
a
schedule
of
or
market
how
they
will
let
the
note
the
community
know
of
these
events
and
who
will
be
playing
and
how
we
can
become
and
enjoy
these
events.
F
E
H
G
Scheduled
at
a
particular,
you
know
date
and
time
like
hey,
come
join,
open
mic,
but
maybe
there
will
be
bands
there
or
or
groups,
but
not
rock
and
roll.
Not
live
drum
sets
nothing
loud
and
boisterous.
That's
just
not
who
we
choose
to
be.
You
know
more,
like
kick
back
listening.
You
know,
you're
at
the
bar
you're
eating
dinner,
more
like
easy,
listening.
G
H
A
real
quick
comment:
I
think
it's
a
fun
idea
that
they're
kind
of
toy
with
here
and
obviously
because
it's
not
going
to
impact
any
of
the
neighbors
significantly
I'm
enthusiastic
to
see
how
it
goes
so
with
that
being
said,
I
move
that
we
adopt
resolution
approving
sup
2019
2019-0948,
based
on
the
findings
and
subject
to
the
conditions
described
therein.
B
Just
quickly,
I
cannot
imagine
that
they're
going
to
do
anything
to
disturb
the
guests
of
the
hotel,
so
as
the
guests
of
the
hotel
are
the
closest
people
there
who
might
be
impacted
and
they're
going
to
have
to
have
a
good
relationship
with
them.
I'm
going
to
vote
for
this.
It
just
doesn't
make
sense
not
to.
E
A
And
finally,
I
cannot
think
of
a
more
better
connection
of
garlic
knots
and
a
little
a
little
music.
So
I
will
also
support
that.
So,
let's
go
ahead
and
prepare
us
for
a
vote.
A
As
this
is
a
hearing
before
us,
I
have
to
discuss
the
appeal
period.
Any
aggrieved
party
who
wishes
to
appeal
the
planning
commission's
decision
may
do
so
by
filing
an
appeal
with
the
community
development
part
department
within
10
days.
