risks

we've

doing

review

that

we've

some
management
decisions,

this
is
to
update
you
on
that.
Historically,
what's
happened
as
regards
personal
protective
equipment
in
highways
has
been
that
the
PPE
has
been
used
when
it
was
specific
to
the
task,
so
they've
worn
a
hardhat
if
there
was
a
specific
risk
because
as
a
JCB
on
site
or
something
like
that-
and
that's
partly
due
to
the
wide
range
of
tasks
that
the
service
they
storica
lead
on.

So
they
do
quite
a
wide
range
of
tasks,
as
you
can
imagine
in
terms
of
all
the
tasks
that
requires
doing
the
highway
what's
become
apparent.

that
some
commercial
contractors

we
have
a
very
different
approach

minimum
level
of
PPE
for
all
tasks,

advantage

that
approach

changes

hard
hats
on
sight

intention
is
that
it
would
do
that.

would

things
like
shorts
from
being
acceptable
as
work
attire,

it
would
