A
Okay,
welcome
everybody
to
this
afternoon's
decision
session
for
this
executive
member,
an
executive
member
of
housing
and
safer
neighborhoods
and
councilor
diverse,
and
that
makes
me
the
executive
member
we're
here
we're
here
for
declarations
of
interest.
Do
we
have
any
declarations
of
interest?
So
that's
me.
B
B
C
A
A
A
A
A
C
B
From
and
around
homelessness
that
is
governed
by
very
successful,
most
legislation,
the
apps
and
also
the
homelessness
strategy
that
we
have
in
place.
That's
twenty
thirteen
to
eighteen
at
the
moment
and
animal
update
is
given
the
looks
at
the
activity
over
the
last
year
and
some
of
the
priorities
for
the
coming
year.
B
B
Is
one
which
looks
at
some
of
the
more
detailed
listing
achievements
and
the
activity
over
the
year?
I
will
pull
out
some
highlights
from
there.
So
the
some
of
the
significant
achievements
were
six
hundred
and
sixteen
prevention
cases.
Nineteen
homelessness
acceptances,
which
is
below
the
target
of
100,
that
we
set
we've
actually
achieved
and
more
than
that
target
the
target
for
reducing
the
rehearsals
close
to
the
temporary
accommodation
is
62
and
the
actual
out
to
them
is
49
so
again
significantly
ahead
of
the
target.
In
that
respect,
nor.
B
In
bed
and
breakfast,
so
we
could
that's
a
major
achievement,
given
the
pressure
that
we've
had
a
temporary
combination,
the
area
that
we
need
to
look
at
for
increased
activity
and
improvement
around
love
sleeping
there
is
a
national
rough
sleeping
crisis.
New
York
is
not
immune
to
that.
There
is
a
nationally
predicted
increase
in
rough
sleeping
or
the
coming
decade.
B
B
The
actual
count
was
29,
that's
the
official
count
which
was
in
towards
a
back
in
Russia
until
the
November
time
since
then,
I'm
sure
you'll
be
aware.
There's
been
a
tremendous
amount
of
activity
and
interest
around
homelessness
and,
in
particular,
of
sleeping
and
the
very
visual
number
of
people
on
on
the
streets
of
your
summer,
which
are
beggars
rather
than
of
sleepers,
so
they
those
are
some
of
the
main
achievements.
B
We
are
taking
a
refreshed
homelessness
strategy
to
executive
dis
evening
with
a
comprehensive
set
of
actions
to
address
the
issues
and
the
priorities
that
were
identified
in
that
plan.
The
main
priorities
for
the
coming
year
are
implementing
some
of
the
measures
that
we've
agreed
and
building
on
the
excellent
work
that
already
taking
place.
That
includes
implementation
of
just
short
of
200,000
pounds
that
we've
managed
to
obtain
from
the
government
in
a
sleeping
grant.
B
So
extra
pause
to
support
the
work
of
existing
services
and
increased
partnership,
working,
in
particular
with
the
contractor
changing
lives
on
finding
those
first
and
second
year,
services
that
to
support
of
sleepers,
the
delivery
of
the
James
house
project
in
early
2019
to
provide
state-of-the-art
accommodation,
power,
homeless
and
potentially
homeless
families
and
we're
on
track
to
diddle
over
that
as
well.
Okay,.
A
A
A
B
A
It
back
to
so
I
guess
I'm,
just
starting
from
that
point.
She
went
out
when
I
move
forward
with
it
in
number
8
on
page
2.
In
this
in
this
report,
I
can
see
a
good
comprehensive
list
of
all
the
specific
groups
of
people
who
we
need
to
to
help.
I
think
the
one
for
me
that
sticks
out
is
is
that
the
people
being
released
from
prison
or
youth
detention.
Centers
though
there
are
always
people
that
I'm
concerned
about
having
had
a
previously
taught
in
that
sector
in
them.
A
A
Into
nearly
there
won't
be
with
us:
yeah
don't
want
anybody
else,
everyone
else!
That's
fine,
that's
good!
No,
that's
that's
what
I
was
thinking
but
I'm
I
see
I,
know
too
that
the
the
further
56
days
will
add
an
extra
burden
on
the
council.
You
know
the
the
original
period
was
only
56
days.
Wasn't
it
and
now
and
now
we
have
to
go
an
extra
fifty
six
days
for
certain
groups.
A
C
A
C
Process
we
we've
been
discussing
with
Jews
and
there
is
other
people
how
we
might
achieve
that
and
report
will
be
coming
to
account
back
to
the
council
later
in
the
year
as
to
how
we
might
approach
that.
That's
about
creating
a
plan,
a
pathway
for
people
with
mental
health
problems
back
into
so
some
of
the
some
of
the
some
of
the
actions
with
a
new
strategy
off
any.
B
A
C
A
So
in
some
way,
I
guess
I
would
like
to
applaud
you
for
all
the
work
that
your
teams
have
done
on
this
over
the
last
five
years.
It's
a
no.
