has
been
completed
to
develop
the
support,
training
and
the
enumeration
offer
to
the
foster
carers
across
York.
This
work
is
part
of
widest
efficiency
work,
our
children
in
care
across
the
city.
The
paper
seeks
a
decision
on
the
proposals
and
pacifically
a
decision
to
implement
the
new
offer
to
our
foster
care,
so.

When
we
have
looked
at
the
offer
that
we
have
for
our
foster
carers,
we
have
been
thinking
about
retaining
the
current
foster
carers,
who
we
have
and
also
been
able
to
recruit
new
foster
carers.
So
the
offer
that
we
have
is
a
robust
and
competitive
offer
it's
a
good
financial
offer,
but
it's
also
a
good
package
of
training
and
support.
We
think
that
that
will
help
us
with
the
foster
cameras
we
currently
have
thinking
about
recruiting
new
foster
carers.

We
had
an
extensive
process
of
consultation
with
with
our
foster
care,
so
we
had
over
a
period
of
30
days
number
of
different
engagement
events,
so
we
had
an
information
event
which
I
chaired
myself.
We
also
had
a
number
of
task
and
finish
group
approach,
meetings
that
foster
carers
could
come
to
we
communicated
with
all
of
our
foster
carers
by
letter
and
by
email
to
explain
to
them
what
we
were
proposing
and
in
order
to
to
get
their
feedback.
We'd
have
a
really
good
level
of
engagement.

We
were
really
pleased
actually
with
the
number
of
foster
carers
who
took
the
time
to
share
their
things,
and
they
stressed
a
number
of
different
areas.
Really.
The
first
one
was
around
values
and
practice.
Our
foster
carers
were
clearly
saying
to
a
factually
that
they
want
to
found
new
based
approach
to
being
a
foster
carer,
and
we
were
really
pleased
to
hear
that,
because
the
tenant
on
our
offer
is
around
making
the
foster
care
of
her
better.

Also
had
a
lot
of
feedback
to
the
dice
of
training
in
support
and
our
foster
carers
are
welcoming
the
fact
that
we
had
put
a
focus
on
the
training
in
support
offer,
not
just
the
financial
enumeration
package.
There
were
some
questions
around
the
delegated
authority
payment
that
we
are
suggesting
and
proposing,
but
in
general
our
foster
carers
were
positive
about
and
the
questions
would
really
we're
about
how
we
were
going
to
go
to
implement
it.
