I
want
to
take
this
opportunity
to
update
you
on
the
district
response
to
the
coronavirus.
No
doubt
the
coronavirus
situation
is
unprecedented
in
US
history,
you
see
from
many
news
events
and
news
articles
just
how
unprecedented
it
is
in
the
Clay
County
school
system.
There's
really
two
things
that
were
primarily
focusing
on
at
this
point.
One
is
deep
cleaning
of
all
facilities
in
the
entire
school
district
and
second,
we're
looking
at
continuity
of
learning.
A
If,
in
fact,
schools
were
closed
for
a
longer
period
of
time,
how
would
we
keep
the
instructional
momentum
going
so
that
all
learners
don't
have
learning
loss
during
this
time
frame?
We
also
have
done
a
lot
to
help
out
the
community
in
the
area
of
meals.
We
are
providing
meals
to
all
students
in
Clay
County
from
eight
to
nine
o'clock
is
breakfast
and
from
12
to
1
o'clock
is
lunch.
You
can
get
lunch
or
breakfast
at
W
E
cherry
Wilkinson,
Elementary,
Charles,
E,
Bennett,
Ridge,
View,
Elementary
and
Keystone
Heights
High
School.

During
this
event,
I've
worked
side-by-side
with
many
who
wanted
to
help
our
community.
There
is
no
doubt
that
there
are
great
many
people
in
the
Clay
County
School
District
that
have
a
servant's
heart
that
truly
care
about
all
our
children
and
are
passionate
about
what
they
do
and
to
all
of
those
folks.
Many
thanks
for
what
you
do
for
our
community
and
our
students
during
this
time.

focus
on
routines
parents,
it's
so
important
that
we
maintain
routines
with
our
children
that
includes
reading
daily
and
many
other
things
that
parents
can
do
are
located
on
our

clay
portal.
So
we
invite
you
to
check
that
out.

want
to
just
take
this
opportunity
to
one
reassure
you
that
the
Clay
County
school
system
stands
prepared
for
the
future
and
whatever
happens,
we
