Description
Keynote: Scaling Argo for the Enterprise - Raziel Tabib, Founder and CEO, Codefresh & Thansha Sadacharam, Tech Learning & Insights, Peloton
The DevOps movement was all about removing boundaries and accelerating application development. Now more than ever, it's paramount to embrace automation that lets your developers do what they do best and let them focus on the things that are important to them. In this Keynote, Thansha Sadacharam from Peloton will talk about how the Argo Project helped them be more productive. Also, Raziel Tabib will talk about how Codefresh is democratizing GitOps to enable all teams reap the same benefits.
A
Good
morning,
everyone
well,
first
of
all,
I
might
say
super
excited
first
time,
argo,
corn
in
person-
I
remember
the
first
one
we
had
last
year
with
an
amazing
attendance,
but
to
see
that
in
person
that's
super
super
exciting.
My
name
is
raziel
tabib,
ceo
and
founder
of
codeflesh
codewash
is
a
continuous
delivery
platform
with
basically
an
enterprise
platform
for
argo,
cd,
rollout
event
and
workflow,
and
I'm
happy
to
be
here
with
tansha
hi.
B
Everybody
I
lead.
The
tech,
learning
and
insights
team
at
peloton
really
really
excited
to
be
sharing
the
stage
here
today.
Okay,.
A
A
The
first
level
is
the
role
I
think
we've
heard
patrick
talk
a
lot
about
the
developer,
experience
and
so
on.
So
what
we
see
basically
out
there
is
that,
while
still
many
of
the
devops
platform
cater
predominantly
for
the
devops,
we
see
the
modern
platform
making
developers
the
first
class
citizens
within
the
platform
really
focusing
on
developer
experience,
making
them
part
of
the
process,
helping
them
getting
their
devops
services
in
a
self-serve
fashion
and
so
on.
A
The
second
that
we
see
is
the
practices,
the
automation,
so
pipelines
and
workflow
still
here,
and
we
see
that
continue
to
be
here
for
a
long
time,
there's
still
a
need
for
automation
in
the
devops,
but
we
see
more
and
more
companies
adopting
practices
of
gear,
ups,
declarative
way
of
deploying
software
and
obviously
progressive
delivery,
rollouts,
whether
it's
canary
and
blue,
green
and
so
on.
Last
but
not
least,
we
talked
about
cloud
native.
We
heard
about
the
definition
of
cloud
native
earlier
today.
A
B
You,
okay,
so
at
peloton,
a
lot
of
our
engineers
use
a
variety
of
different
tools.
So,
if
you're
an
engineer
on
the
machine
learning
team,
the
tools
that
you
use
are
gonna
look
a
little
bit
different
than,
if
you're
an
engineer
on
our
leader,
our
leaderboard
team
or
our
ecom
team
and
argo's
a
really
good
example
of
this,
because
it's
not
used
equally
across
all
of
engineering.
B
Instead,
it's
used
quite
heavily
by
our
platform
engineers
to
create
great
developer
experiences,
and
this
is
because
we
know
that
engineers
come
to
peloton
to
build
products
that
help
our
members
live.
Healthier,
happier,
lives.
We've
already
heard
this,
but
we
know
a
lot
of
engineers.
Aren't
super
excited
about
building
infrastructure.
B
We
actually
built
out
a
very
specialized
argo
course
for
our
engineers
that
are
going
to
be
working,
the
closest
with
this
tool,
and
what
that
meant
is
that
we
were
able
to
leverage
a
peer-to-peer
learning
model.
So
remember
those
engineers
that
I
was
talking
about
earlier.
There
are
excited
about
infrastructure
in
the
developer
experience
they
actually
get
to
teach
this
course
they're.
Really
the
subject
matter.
Experts
on
this
topic
at
peloton
and
we're
really
excited
about
the
work
that
they've
been
able
to
do
so
through
this
program.
B
We
continue
to
deliver
it
today
and
bring
engineers
into
the
business.
It's
helped
us
reduce
our
time
to
first
pull
requests
by
83
percent,
so
really
really
excited
to
be
sitting
at
three
and
a
half
days
there,
something
that
I
know
my
team
is
really
excited
about.
That
leadership
is
excited
about
that
all
the
new
engineers
that
joined
peloton
are
excited
about,
and
I
know
that
our
subject
matter.
B
A
This
is
this
is
really
really
great
and
in
fact
you
know
our
our
mission
in
court
first
is
really
to
democratize
the
same
practices
that
you
guys
have
implemented,
and
I
want
to
stress
out
before
we
closing
today
our
commitment
to
the
argo
technology.
You
know
we've
built
a
platform
on
argo.
Algo
is
critical
for
us.
We
remain
committed
to
push
this
technology
forward,
both
from
committing
to
the
to
the
open
source.
