Kubeapps is a tool for supercharging your Kubernetes cluster with Helm-packaged apps and Kubeless functions. With Kubeapps, you can browse, launch and manage apps, create and test Kubeless functions, and browse and provision services from your cluster's Service Catalog, all from within the Kubeapps dashboard. provide

helm

sealed
secrets

making
it
easier

more
secure
to
deploy
applications

which
is
a
kind
of
a
UI
similar

cube

UI
for

your
community

platform
on
top
of

I'm

is
an
application
on
top

so
all
these
things
kind

we're
working
on

that
theme
is
basically
applications
and
making
applications
easier

run
and
manage
on
top
of

interest
in
the
cube

Well,
I'm

I
should
say
history
of
application
management
on
kubernetes,
which
will
generally
just
just
kind
of
set
the
theme
of
the
talk
and
introduce
us
to
to
what
keep

is
and
why
we
essentially
built
it
followed
by
a
demo
of
Hubert's,
because
you
know
a
webinar
isn't
fun
without
a
demo.

up

very

cloud
providers

aks.

can
even
go

stack
point
cloud
and
set
up
a
clustering
on
pretty
much
any
cloud
provider.

always
easy
to

local
machine.
I
have
mini
cube,
I
can
go
in
using
you,
just
run
mini
cube
start,
and
that
goes
and
sets
up
a
cluster
for
me
and
also
recently,
the
docker
for
desktop
dock
for
Mac
and
dock
for
Windows
have
added
support
for
kidnet
in
support,
or
at
least,
if
you're,
using
the
beta
edge
version.
So
it's
it's
incredibly
easy
to
get
kubernetes
up
and
running
today
and
start
using.

there's
also
a
lot
of
different
distributions
that
you
can
play
with
so
and
and
some
of
these
kind
of
have
different
strengths,
so
I
think
openshift.
For
example.
It's
a
very
good
example.
It
has.
It
has
a
big
fan,
food
security
and
way
that
they
configure
roofing.
It
makes
your
continue
containers
much
more
secure,
so
yeah,
so
we've
kubernetes,
you
know
being
so
easy
to
set
up
really.
The
problem
is
how
you
manage
your
applications
on
top
of
it
and
that's
that's
kind
of
the
hard
part
right
now
right.

seen

Basically
it's
basically
replace
some
replacement

cube

you
manage
your
applications,
there's
obviously
a
lot

good
talks
out

how
exactly

use

the
main
idea

is
that
helm
has
as
a
package
manager,
therefore
for
apps
on
kubernetes.
This
has
been
really
influential

think
really
useful
in

managing
applications
on
your
cluster.

call

launched
that

had
that
actually
on
cue,
babcom
and-
and
it
was
just
a
great
way
to
to
go
and
find
out
about
charts,
but
what
we
were
really
hearing
from
people
was
that
they
wanted
to
have
a
way
to
install
stuff
in
their
cluster,
so
what
it
was
so
this
was
so
monocular
was
kind
of
a
way
to
see
the
charts
available,
see
information
about
them,
but
there
wasn't
a
way
to
actually
install
them
into
your
cluster
from
there.

actually
had
to
go
and
copy
out
a
Hjelm
install
command.
So
what
we're
really
hearing
was?
You
know
this
is
great,
but
how
do
I
get
this
running
in
my
turn?
How
do
I,
how
do
I
get
an
install
button,
so
I
can
I

go
and
do
it
and
at
the
same
time,
I
think
the
ecosystem
for
applications
in
general
has
been
has
been
growing
quite
a
bit,
so
you
know
we
seem.

Obviously
we
we
work
on
cubis
and
we've
we've
been
pushing
that
out
as
a
service
framework,
but
there's
also
different
ways
of
managing
applications
in
your
cluster.
One
of
them
is
case
on
it,
which
it's
it's
it's
a
similar
to
attempting
language
language
for
for
writing.
Kubernetes
manifests,
but
using
the
json
language
there's
also
get
cube,
which
allows
you
to
have
kind
of
git
workflow,
almost
like
a
path
style,
sort
of
thing
to
deploy
your
apps
on
top
of
cubes
as
well.

you
can
just
get
push
hope
kind
of
Heroku
style,
and
then
you
get
your
applications,
get
deployed
to
the
cluster
and
is
this.
This
is
just
scratching
the
surface,
there's
so
many
tools
in
this
space.
The
other
one
here
is
the
Service
Catalog,
which
allows
you
to
connect
to
external
services
that
may
be
running
somewhere
else,
but
connected
them
from
within
the
applications
running
in
your
cluster.

for
example,
if
I
wanted
to
connect
to
and
if
I
want
to
provision
and
then
connect
to
a
database
in
the
azure
cloud,
if
I
was
using
a
droid,
then
I'd
be
able
to
use
the
Service
Catalog
to
go,
and
provision

Azure
database
for
me
and
then
create
a
secret
based
on
that
for
credentials
to
actually
connect
to
that.

to
get
started

will

access

log

with
bearer

they
