A
Hi
everyone
welcome
to
the
the
june
23rd
2021
get
ops
working
group
events
committee
meeting
on
the
line.
Right
now
is
christian,
hernandez,
damani
corbin
and
yours
truly
scott
ricky.
I
think
we
have
a
little
bit
of
a
light,
a
light
attendance
today,
but
that's
cool
I'm
going
to
go
ahead
and
post
or
paste
the
link
to
our
working
notes
and
docs.
This
we've
already
said
this
may
be
a
short
meeting
but
recording
recording
anyway,
you
know
just
because
that's
how
we
do.
A
Oh
thanks
christian
awesome.
So
one
topic
I
wanted
to
mention
or
asked
about
was:
should
we
discuss?
I
mean,
since
this
is
the
events,
we're
also
thinking
about
broader
events.
I
know
the
get
ops
working
group
is
not
organizing
get
op's
guide
to
the
galaxy,
but
would
it
be
worth
at
least
we
could
mention
it
right,
may
not
we'd
be
planning
it
here,
but
yeah
mentioned
that
we're
doing
it.
It's
just
so
happens
that
christian
and
the
red
hat
team
do
this.
B
Podcast,
I
guess
twitch,
I
don't
know
what
kids
call
it
nowadays.
I
think
there's
gonna
be
a
new
thing.
I
don't
know
what
twitching
I
guess,
but
yeah
live.
A
B
B
A
B
Yeah,
I
don't
and
also
I
I
don't
think
yeah.
I
think
that's
fine
to
be
promoting
it.
That
way
as
well,
I
don't
mind
and
if
anyone
just
in
the
in
the
in
the
greater
open
get
ups
community
wants
to
come
on
talk
about
something
about
get
ops.
That's
that's!
That's
that's
open
as
well,
so
I
I'm
always
looking
for
guests.
As
scott
knows,
I'm
always
poking
him
as
well,
so
yeah.
So
anyone
else
in
the
community
that
would
you
know
maybe
watching
this
and
wants
to
come
on.
A
A
A
I
was
in
meetings
most
of
the
day,
so
I
was
not
able
to
attend
cdecon.
So
that's
why
I
just
kept
my
mind.
So
maybe
we
just
keep
it
really
short
in
that
case
and-
and
we
just
picked
back
up
later,
but
that's
it's
a
good
thing
to
note.
So,
hey
look
events
committee
meeting,
one
of
the
events
that
we
promote
is
cdcon.
So
actually
it's
a
good
thing.
It's
just
us
here.
Maybe
we
can.
Maybe
we
can
even
just
encourage
everyone
to
get
off
and
join
whatever's
happening
at
cdcon
right
now,
yeah.
B
Yeah,
that's
right,
it
is
going
on.
I
actually
did
the
event.
Yesterday,
hey
robert,
I
did
a
talk
yesterday
about
get
ops
at
the
get
up
summit
as
well
so
yeah.
So
that's
probably
has
to
do
with
the
light
attendance
today.
A
B
Ups
working,
I
I
do
I'm
gonna,
I'm
gonna
note
it
here.
I
think
for
specifically
for
us
for
for
for
forget,
ops,
con
la
north
america,
I
know
dan
is
was
talking
with
the
cncf
events,
people
and
I'm
just
wondering
where
we
are
because
I
know
he
wanted
to
get
the
cfp
out
relatively
quickly,
and
I
know
it's
just
there's
probably
a
lot
of
planning
that
needs
to
go
on
on
his
end.
B
So
I
just
kind
of
wanted
to
update,
I
guess
from
dan
about
get
upscan.
C
Okay,
I
just
want
to
mention
I've
been
talking
for
an
hour.
I
had
a
presentation,
so
I
just
want
to
mention
the
the
the
idea
of
having
some
sort
of
call
it
a
package
or
whatever
you
want
for
for
having
like
community
get
upstairs
or
whatever
you
want
to
call
it,
because
the
more
that
I
think
about
it,
I'm
probably
going
to
have
you
know,
have
one
of
those
events
here
in
norway
most
likely.
C
So
I've
been
thinking
a
lot
about
that
and
that
I
think
we
talked
last
meeting
right.
Didn't
we,
if
I
remember
correctly.
B
Yeah,
did
you,
what
did
you
call
it
again?
Open,
get
up
stays,
yeah,
open
or
yeah
that
so
like?
I
saw
you
you're
talking
about,
like
kind
of
like
almost
like
a
meet-up
type
of
thing,
yeah.
C
If
it's
a
half-day
event,
if
or
or
whatever
people
want
just
you
know
facilitating
that
having
something
you
know,
graphics,
ready
for
presentations
and
gotcha.
This
is
this
is
how
you
should
do
cfp.
C
You
could
do
this
display
or
display
you
know,
et
cetera,
et
cetera,
et
cetera,
having
like
that
as
making
it
as
easy
as
possible
for
people
to
do
their
own
events
in
their
town,
or
you
know
country
in
my
case,
we're
so
small
yeah.
B
Yeah,
so
I
think
that's
yeah,
we
mentioned
it
before
scott.
I
don't
know
if
you
saw
any
of
the
recordings
you
may
end
up
in
there
about
like
having
a
press
kit
or
some
sort
of
kit
where,
if
someone
wants
to
put
on
something
it'd
be
nice
to
have
something
like
that.
A
Yeah
I
I
agree
and
love
the
idea
if
you're
talking
about
when
we
were
discussing
the
brazil
or
excuse
me
yeah
the
brazil
community
days,
I
think
yeah.
C
That
that
kind
of
kind
of
tied
into
it
as
well,
you
know
and
that's
great
and-
and
I
think
we
should
support
that
one,
especially
as
you
know
like
he
explained
you
know
latin
america
having
some
issues
getting
info
across
and
having
these
kind
of
events.
You
know
it's
kind
of
vital
for
them
to
to
do
something
on
their
own
and
we
need
to
help
them,
but
at
the
same
time
having
something
that
would
make
it
easier
for,
for
anyone
be
it.
A
One
interesting
note,
that's
happening
on
the
side
of
this
is
is
leo
and
I
are
going
to
be
collaborating
really
soon
on
we're.
Basically
leo's
like
we're
going
to
you
know
as
one
of
the
co-chairs
as
well
when
it
helps
like
it
is
stepping
up
to
collaborate
on
some
of
the
work
that's
been
ongoing
and
in
in
in
really
forming
the
the
open,
git
ups
project.
You
know
the
get
ups
working
rep
was
group
was
bootstrapped.
A
There
were
a
lot
of
pieces
in
place
that
needed
to
be
handled
for
that
it
was
the
provisional
name
for
the
sandbox
project.
That
then
became
actually
got
named
as
open,
get
ops
and
now
there's
a
number
of
pieces
of.
There
are
a
number
of
items
inside
of
the
git
ops
working
group,
repo
that
actually
belong
in
open,
git
ops,
primarily
so
we've
temporarily
addressed
that
by
creating
github
community
health
files
and
pointing
to
those
things.
A
But
now
we
need
to,
and
a
lot
of
that
work
has
already
been
done
by
separating
them.
So
we
now
have
a
charter
and
a
governance
stock
and
so
on,
but
we
now
need
to
kind
of
do
some
of
the
work
to
move
that
over.
And
I
mentioned
that
in
the
context
of
this
call,
because.
A
Excuse
me,
the
the
press
kit
is
something
that
we
could
sorry
the
github
projects
that
we've
used
to
organize.
These
kinds
of
things
in
the
past
have
all
been
in
the
github's
working
group,
but
it
seems
to
me
that,
since
we're
talking
about
this
for
get
ups,
we
mo
we
probably
should
create
a
github
project
there.
A
Okay,
okay,
cool
sorry,
I
hope
that
wasn't
too
much
context,
but
it
seems
like
it
makes
some
sense.
Okay,
I
get
some
thumbs
up
all
right,
so
look
if
anybody
has
a
real
problem
with
that
who's.
Not
on
this
call
because
they're
at
cdcon,
then
you
know
we
can
always
just
move
it
or
do
something
different.
It's
not
really
a
big
deal.
A
We
can
easily
you
know,
but
but
that
way
we
could
actually
start
just
temporarily
sketching
sketching
out
what
needs
to
be
done
in
note
cards
in
the
project,
and
I
think
once
we
get
some
confirmation
from
other
people
in
the
the
events
committee
that
hey
this
seems
like
a
good
place
to
do
this,
and
that
looks
great.
We
can
convert
those
to
issues
and
whatever
else
does
that
sound
right.
B
A
That's
what
I
was
thinking
and
so
like
no
one's
really
left
out
and
they're
not
kind
of
forced.
Even
if
we
keep
this
recording
short
they're,
not
really
forced
to
listen
to
it
in
order
to
to
keep
up,
and
we
won't
be
blocked
from
starting
to
do
some
of
the
legwork
and
planning
cool
all
right,
all
right
cool
who,
who
wants
actually
I'll,
go
ahead
and
create
that
for
now
and
then
and.
A
Right,
yeah,
okay,
let
me
know
if
someone
can't
access
that,
I
believe
all
of
the
you
all
should
and
if
you
can't,
let
me
know
we'll
sort
it
out.
A
A
This
is
what's
honest,
all
right,
the
second
thing
is
doesn't
I
have
I
can
address
what
you
asked
about
briefly
regarding
dan
and
this
oh
uh-huh.
A
It
may
not
be
fully
up
to
date,
but
we
had
a
a
a
co-chairs
meeting
a
few
days
ago,
and
I
can
at
least
I
can
at
least
mention
where
it
was
then
high
level.
C
A
Subject
to
already
have
changed,
possibly,
but
essentially
dan
is
still
working
with
cncf
on
sponsorships,
and
that
is
the
very
short
bumper
sticker
version
that
we
probably
should
probably
leave
it
out
for
now.
But
the
point
of
it
is
to
make
it
easier
for
for
people
to
support
this
project
without
necessarily
having
to
you
know,
say,
become
like
a
a
kubecon
diamond
sponsor
or
something
gotcha.
A
A
Skipped,
no,
I
don't
see
any,
but
just
also
stop
me
because
I
don't
want
to
overtake
this,
but
I
do
have
something
else.
I
could
say
from
that
meeting.
If
that's
helpful
about
how
the
events
committee
and
the
website
work
can
work
together,.
A
Okay,
well,
in
short,
there
are
some
of
the
missing
some
of
the
pieces
that
are
in
the
current
plan
for
or
the
current
proposal
for,
the
website
that
dan
has
up
in
a
github
discussion
and
there's
a
link
to
the
google
docs
that
have
the
website
proposal.
I
just
encourage
people
on
this
call
may
have
already
looked
at
it,
but
I
encourage
anyone
who
might
be
listening
to
this
recording
later.
To
also
have
a
look
at
that
because
you
know
it
can
be,
it
can
rapidly
change.
A
But
what
we
discussed
was
that
I
left
some
comments
on
the
figma
which
we're
about
what
kind
of
language
we
can
like
what
kind
of
language
we
already
have
that
we're
using
to
describe
open,
git,
ops
and
the
gaps
work
and
like
the
role
of
the
apps
working
group
within
that
project.
A
A
I
mean
we
all
love
the
purple
and
we
love
the
get
up.
Logo
working
group
logo,
but
it's
kind
of
like
that
probably
should,
if
it's
there
at
all,
it
should
only
be
there
probably
just
for
yeah
anyway.
This
is
getting
a
little
bit
outside
of
the
event
scope,
but
but
the
main
point
is
that
there
are
pieces,
including
the
events
that
we'll
want
there
and
then-
and
the
thing
is
like
a
number
of
different
files
that
need
to
be
on.
A
The
website
are
already
hosted
in
repos
and
open
in
the
open,
githubs
repo,
okay,
including
a
file
right
now
until
we
move
it
until
leo,
and
I
move
it
over
that
is
it
is.
Governance
is
like
how
open
get
ops
is
currently
governed,
so
that
file
is
actually
in
the
get
ups
working
group
repo
still,
but
for
now,
but
so
those
rather
than
the
website
kind
of
reproducing
all
that
stuff
and
potentially
immediately
being
out
of
sync.
You
know
the
idea
is
that
those
could
slurp.
C
A
A
The
idea
is,
it
should
be
in
a
in
an
okay
place
this
week,
but
you
know
we'll
see
we'll
can
check
in
with
dan
and
see
that
because
he's
really
leading
that
charge,
but
how
it
relates
to
the
events
committee
is
that,
like
we
have
not
yet
started
the
metadata
file
with
all
the
events
for
I
both
that
get
ups
working
group
is
organizing
or
that
the
openg
ops
project
is
ultimately
connected
to,
or
or
and
other
events
within,
the
the
the
the
wider
get
ops
ecosystem
that
we
already
agreed
is.
C
A
A
In
json
format,
we
could
be
like
cool
no
problem,
no
matter
what
it's
just
some
format,
that
users
can
make
open
a
pr
to
have
their
listed,
and
then
the
events
committee
can
look
at
that
and
say:
oh
this,
you
know
this
doesn't
really
make
sense
for
git,
ops
or
hey.
Maybe
go
back
to
check
out
the
github's
principles.
A
You
know
and
or
this
looks
more
like
a
like
a
like
a
you
know
like
like
a
product
promo
thing
and
not
so
much
yeah,
you
know
or
whatever
or
we're
like
yeah,
that
that
makes
perfect
sense
for
this
wider
movement,
and
you
know
that
seems
to
be
within
our
purview.
We
can
discuss
it
with
people,
so
we're
not
kind
of
lording
over
them,
but
we
are
trying
to
curate
things
that
make
sense
together,
so
that
it's
not
just
confusing
the
the
whole
pool
of
folks
that
want
to
follow.
B
So
when
it
relates
to
the
the
website
right,
I
I
imagine
we're
gonna
have
a
space
for
events
right,
it's
gonna
be
like
what
you
know,
opengetups.dev
or
whatever
slash
events
right
like
we're,
gonna
have
like
a
and
then,
if
so
I
guess
that
would
be
maintained
by
the
community
like.
If
I
think
we
should.
B
You
know
if
something's
you
know
up
and
coming,
and
you
know
we
think
it
should
be
promoted.
I
just
need
to
make
a
pr
to
that
like.
How
does
how
do
so?
I
guess
let
me
back
up
my
actual
question
is
how
do
I
get
content
onto
the
website
like
either?
B
Do
I
make
a
pr,
or
do
I
just
make
an
issue
and
just
kind
of
just
do
a
text
dump
and
me
specifically,
this
is
specifically
not
asking
generically,
but
also
because
I
think
you
know,
events
come
and
go
and
we
should
you
know
that
that
one
page
is
gonna
be
pretty
active.
I
think
hopefully
I
mean
that's
the
hope
right.
You
know
it
stays
pretty
active.
A
A
It's
it's
actually
just
okay,
yeah
yeah!
It's
actually
just
just
like
a
collaborative
design
tool
that
you
can.
A
You
can
make
comments
on
as
well,
so
my
glass
comments,
I
don't
think
have
been,
I
think,
if
you
log
in
you
can
see
the
comments.
A
A
That
joe
can
do
that.
Okay,
okay,
cool,
because
I
was
like
I
hope
so
I
thought
I
thought
so
yeah
it
probably
is
okay,
thank
you.
It's
meant
to
be
very
collaborative,
and
I
and
I
believe
it's
very
usable
so
so
far
when
I
tried,
I
don't
think
anyway.
So
far
when
I
tried
I
was
able
to
leave
comments
and-
and
I
don't
think
they've
been
addressed
quite
yet,
but
I
believe
they
will
be
this
week
is
the
plan.
A
But
anyway
I
mentioned
that's
just
to
guide
you
through
this
or
excuse
me
to
introduce
you
to
this
github
issue,
and
then
this
and
then
the
structure
is
a
google
doc
that
then
links
to
other
google
docs
as
well.
So
under
architecture.
There
are
additional
docs
that
those
link
to
like
home
page
about
community
get
involved
event.
Events
is
the
one
that's
really
relevant
to
this
meeting.
C
A
Yeah,
and
so
the
good
thing
is
we're
not
really
the
events
committee
isn't
really
it's
not
really
not
blocked
by
the
website
efforts.
The
website
is
just
one
more.
The
idea
here
is
that
the
website
will
be
one
more
channel
and
probably
the
most
visible
one
for
people
to
to
go
to
and
always
see
the
updated
events
list.
A
I
don't
have
anything
else.
I
just
wanted
to
update
you
on
that
and
plus
it
seems
like
that's
pretty
relevant
from
last
week's
chat
and
in
lieu
of
dan
being
here
right,
at
least
we
met
we
all.
We
me
down
and
leo
met
about
that.
So
at
least
I
can
convey
that
part
and
then
he
can
update
you
on
like
where
it's
really
at.
Let
me
chat
next.
C
Seeing
as
we
have
the
principal
meeting
as
well,
I
think
we
need
to
you
know
still
stay
the
full
duration
just
to
to
stay
the
full
duration
yeah
having
them.
I
think
we're.
A
A
Pressing
just
just
just
showing
up
and
being
participating,
so
thank
you
to
monty
and
nice
to
see
you
all
I'll,
see
you
no.
