but

hopefully

always

range

would
be
nice
and
nice
guidance
for
attendees
to
actually
announce
them

actually
found
the
opposite
problem
in
several

went
to

the
first
couple
of
days.
In
particular,
a
lot
of
them
were
very
sparsely,
attended,
I
felt
like
and
then
the
ones
today
all
the
ones
I've
been
to
have
been
very
crowded
and
I've
also
heard
about
a
few
breakouts
where
the
speaker
has
arrived
late
or
given
a
talk
that
didn't
seem
to
match
their
abstract.
So
I've
heard
a
couple
of
problems
like
that
as
well.

of

to

there
were
a
couple
that
people
couldn't
get
into,
but
just
because
they
were

wouldn't

picked
the
rooms,
and
these
were
actually
in
large
rooms.

just
had
huge

speakers
weren't

good

improve

just
skim
through
the
schedule
and
know
where
you
have
to
go,
but
you
know
on
the
topic
of
talks
and
talk
quality
as
well
as
what
Janet
said
earlier
about
talk,
she
thought
were
good
were
from
end
users
and
I
know.
There
was
a
lot
of
discussion
on
the
TOC
mailing
list
about
getting
more
talks
from
end
users.
Data
dog
actually
gave
a
great
talk,
kubernetes
the
very
hard
way,
a
meet-up
and
posted
the
video
to
youtube-
and
I
said,
oh
wow.
This
is
awesome.

You
just
submit
that
to
keep
Cod,
they
said
well,
we
did
but
didn't
get
in.
So
so
a
couple
of
things
that
are
I'd.
There
were
a
ton
of
talks,
so
you
know
some.
We
don't
get
everyone,
but
if
we
I
know
that
we
do
ask
for
people
to
submit
videos
when
they
submit
their
abstract.
So
maybe
we
can
Curt
encourage
more
speakers
to
do
meetups.
So
there's
a
video
of
that
so
that
can
come
with
their
submission.

So
when
I
was
in
the
program
committee
for
daca
con
in
the
past
years
and
a
few
recipes
that
works
really
great
for
us,
so
one
thing
was
to
keep
things
on
the
same
topic
in
the
same
room,
just
as
you
said
like
having
all

maintainer
stuff
in
one
specific
area.
That
was
great
because
we
had
droves
and
rows
of
people
telling
us
I.
Just
sat
in
that
track.
The
entire
conference
and
I
loved
it
and
I
want
this.

Another
thing
that
we
did
to
help
speakers
and
ensure,
like
consistency
of
content,
was
to
manage
to
have
a
dry
run
of
the
talks.
Of
course,
lots
of
experiment.
Speakers
don't
want
to
do
dry
run
because
I
don't
have
the
time.
So
it's
not
like
a
howl
requirement,
but
for
many
speakers
it
turned
almost
mediocre
talk
into
talks
that
actually
ranked
like
number
one
in
attendance
and
ratings
for
the
whole
conference.

So
it
can
be
a
huge
difference
if
it's
not
doable
to
have
a
single
person
go
through
all
the
talks
of
a
track
because
that's
not
always
feasible.
What
UConn
does
is
that
they
do
a
kind
of
matchmaking
between
seasoned
speakers
who
volunteer
and
the
speaker's
of
the
conference
basically,
and
they
just
do
a
real
soul
through
hangouts
or
whatever
and
I've
seen
that
give
great
results
as
well.

One
thing
that
is
great
for
the
people
on
the
other
side
of
the
real
soul,
like
the
person
giving
feedback,
is
that
sometimes
you
get
to
see
a
talk
that
you
wish
you
could
see,
but
you
won't
be
able
to
because
you
won't
be
at
the
conference
or
you
will
be
in
somewhere
else
or
yourself
speaking
and
also
last
but
not
least,
because
I've
done
that
a
lot
if
you
like
the
ability
of
life
tweeting
a
talk
if
you've
seen
it
before
the
quality
of
the
job
you
can
make
at.
That
is
orders
of
magnitude.

available

nice

be
able

do
that,
and
the
other
thing
is
speaking
of
somebody
who
was
a
voting
conference
committee

would
be
really
nice

history
information

whom
were

are

popular
than
others

evaluators

talks
before
necessarily

with

and
others

empty

conferences

worked

well

and
introduce
people
and
build
hype
and
have
that
energy
in
the
room

But
if
you
look
at
it

this
conference,
if
you
did
that
for
service,
you
would
have
had
four
of
six
talks.

project
right

area

had
a
a
variety
of
many
different
GA
projects
in
the
area.
So
I
think
there
might
need
to
be
guidelines
around.
How
can
we
do
things
in
order
to
have
diversity
and
good
conversations?

while
you
have
that
full
day
thing
you're,
not
rehashing
a
lot
of
the
same
information
like
at
one
of
the
conference's
that
I
was
at
and
chaired
years
ago.
They
had
a
thing
work
on
a
topic
and
a
particular
project.

would
only
have
one
talk,
and
that
was
to
force
diversity
amongst
the
talks
and-
and
you
know
your
three
best
proposals
may
have
been
one
thing,
but
you
can
only
choose
one
because
diversity
with
so
many
things
going
on
was
actually
cherished
and
then
that
made
the
track,
which
one
all
day
in
a
room
in
the
chair.

gave
that
thing.

feedback
rises

seating

who
wouldn't

submitted

we
hadn't
reached
out
to
them

lot
of
volunteers
to
spend
even
more
time

weigh

efforts
versus
the
result

sucks,

we
hope

better

about

people

has

outside,

thought
leadership
presence.

playing

down

talks
that
