A
Alright
I'm
a
super
stoked
to
be
here,
I'm
a
little
bit
still
shocked
that
8,000
people
have
decided
to
show
up
in
Seattle
in
mid-december,
in
wonderful
Seattle
winter
weather.
So
so
thank
you
for
that
before
I
dive
into
the
community
awards
that
were
graciously
sponsored
by
VMware
this
year.
You
know
I
would
essentially
like
to
point
out
that
as
an
organization
and
even
as
a
community
we're,
you
know
we're
still
young,
you
know,
kubernetes
is
about
4
years
old,
C&C
F
from
this
month
December
we
are
technically
three
years
old.
A
We
hosted
our
first
board
meeting
in
December
2015.
It
was
a
let's
say,
a
very
small
room,
small
group
of
people
that
had
a
great
vision
of
what
a
modern
open-source
foundation
a
modern
community
built
around.
You
know,
modern
infrastructure
practices
would
look
like,
and
it's
just
been
amazing
to
see
this
evolve
over
the
last
few
years
and
I
especially
wanted
to
thank
some
of
the
people
that
were
involved
in
the
early
days.
A
You
know
bringing
kubernetes
and
forming
C
and
C
F
and
mostly
you
know
some
of
the
just
the
new
folks
in
this
room
that
have
joined
our
community.
So
thank
you
again
for
being
with
us,
and
you
know
we
look
forward
to
Keene.
Continuing
to
you
know,
serve
you
all
and
and
grow
the
community.
So
so
thank
you.
A
So
moving
on
to
the
awards,
I
think
one
of
the
most
important
things
a
open-source
community
could
do
is
recognize
individuals
that
go
above
and
beyond
their
normal
job
duties
to
benefit
the
community
and
I.
Think
one
of
the
most
important
you
know,
principles
or
values
that
we
have
in
the
cloud
native
CN
CF
community.
Is
this
concept
of
chopping
wood
and
carrying
water
I?
A
For
the
work
that
they've
done
across
cnc
of
projects-
and
you
know
I'm
happy
to
announce
today-
that
there
are
14
individuals
that
have
been
nominated
for
this
award
and
I
would
like
to
invite
them
all
onstage,
so
Jim's
Diane,
Mueller,
Christoph,
Blocher,
Nikita,
Harris,
Pittman,
Richard,
Hartman,
Tim,
pepper
steven
augustus,
the
lovely
chris
nova,
zach,
arnold
reinhard,
bobby
salamat
george
cristo
in
april,
so
feel
free
to
fun.
Alright,
you're
gonna
help
me
here,
they'll
be
easier.
If
you
to
pick
up.
A
A
You
know
we
have
other
awards
that
we've
given
out-
and
you
know
the
the
next
couple
of
words
on
the
lists.
Are
you
know
top
ambassador?
So
the
you
know
this
award
essentially
reflects
someone
who
goes
out
and
promotes.
You
know
clown
native
particular
CN,
CF
projects
and
kind
of
acts
as
an
ambassador
to
the
whole
community.
You
know
bringing
potentially
new
folks
to
us
new
projects,
bridging
you
know:
bridges,
building,
bridges
with
adjacent
communities
that
we're
working
with,
and
we
had
our
CN
CF
ambassador
community
help.
A
Thank
you,
Michael
Mike,
Mike,
Michael's,
been
great,
like
he's
done,
a
lot
of
amazing
stuff
on
the
kind
of
kubernetes
machine
learning
stuff
that
I've
personally
read
and
appreciate
it.
So
thank
you
Michael.
This
now
brings
us
to
our
last
award,
so
our
top
committer
or
maintainer
award
is
selected
by
our
existing
project,
maintainer
community,
for
an
individual
that
basically
embodies.
A
You
know
technical
excellence
and
just
you
know
great,
you
know
technical
prowess
for
their
contributions
to
to
CN
CF
projects,
and
there
was
an
incredible
you
know
over
a
dozen
individuals
that
were
nominated
for
this
and
happy
to
announce
that
this
year,
Jordan
Liggett
has
won
the
award
for
top
committer.
So.
A
Jordan
has
done
amazing
work
for
kubernetes,
so
you
know
that's
basically
it
on
this
front.
I
want
to
congratulate
everyone
for
being
here.
It's
just
crazy
to
see
how
things
have
grown
up
over
the
last
few
years,
since
we
started
CN,
CF
and,
more
importantly,
the
folks
in
our
community
to
have
done
amazing
things
from
you
know,
doing
the
wonderful
work
of
chopping,
wood
and
carrying
water
and
then
promoting
what
we're
doing
so.
Thank
you
and
I
hope
you
enjoy
your
next
few
days
of
the
conference.
So
thank
you.
