From YouTube: CNCF Marketing Committee Meeting - January 2022
Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
Okay
and
then
let
me
get
my
screen
back
one.
Second,
all
right
here
we
go
now
we're
ready,
so
this
call
will
be
recorded.
So
if
you
don't
want
to
be
on
video,
please
stay
off
camera
and
on
mute
and
just
a
reminder
that
we
do
post
the
recordings
in
the
slides
after
the
meeting
on
our
in
our
marketing
community
call
private
youtube
channel
and
in
our
slides,
also
a
friendly
reminder
that
our
next
marketing
committee
call
will
be
happening
on
february,
2nd.
A
So
we'll
return
back
to
that
first
week
of
the
week
of
the
month.
Cadence.
Thank
you
again
for
joining
us
on
this
rescheduled
date
and
then
just
a
reminder
that
you
know
these.
These
meetings
do
discuss
confidential
items.
So
just
be
mindful
of
that.
Don't
do
anything
legal
as
bill
says.
We
want
to
keep
this
the
fun
marketing
meeting
and
not
bring
in
the
lawyers
we
don't
have
to
with
that.
A
We
have
a
really
packed
agenda
today,
we'll
go
through
some
announcements,
we'll
have
a
membership
update
and
then
update
on
our
various
programs,
and
then
we
have
some
references
if
you're
new.
If
this
is
your
first
call
for
new
members,
there's
some
references
on
in
the
appendix
and
beyond,
so
with
that,
let's
go
ahead
and
jump
into
it,
so
we'll
go
ahead
and
get
started
with
our
announcements.
So,
if
you
haven't
seen
it
already,
we
published
our
2021
annual
report
at
the
end
of
december.
This
is
a
awesome
report.
A
If
you
haven't
had
a
chance
to
look
at
it
already,
just
taking
a
look
at
everything
that
we
accomplished
in
2021,
not
just
beyond
or
beyond
marketing,
not
so
not
just
marketing
but
across
the
organization
as
a
whole
updates
on
projects,
different
initiatives,
there's
a
lot
of
events
updates,
as
you
can
imagine,
with
our
changing
events,
landscape
and
it's
a
new
interactive
format
as
well.
A
So
love
for
you
to
take
a
look
at
it
when
you
have
a
chance,
there's
a
pdf
and
there's
also
the
highlighted
interactive
version
as
well
shout
out
to
charlie
and
our
web
team,
who
worked
tirelessly
over
the
break
to
get
this
out
and
we're
really
excited
and
proud
of
it.
So
would
love
for
you
to
take
a
look
if
you
haven't
already
share
it
around
and
then
would
love
your
feedback
too.
A
I
also
wanted
to
provide
an
update
on
our
marketing
and
member
survey
that
we
ran
last
year.
Thank
you
to
so
many
of
you
who
took
the
survey.
You
took
the
time
to
give
us
your
feedback
at
a
high
level
just
wanted
to
share
some
key
findings
from
the
survey
with
you
all
and
again.
These
will
all
help
us
shape
our
programs
this
year
as
long
as
our
as
well
as
our
collaboration
with
our
new
marketing
chair,
so
75
of
our
silver
members
took
the
survey
that's
great
to
see.
A
93
of
you
recommended
your
cncf
membership
to
others,
which
is
awesome.
That's
a
really
high
rate
and
we're
really
grateful
for
that.
72
percent
of
respondents
found
that
the
cncf
were
helpful
and
their
response,
that's
great,
to
see
we'd
like
to
get
that
up
to
at
least
80
percent,
but
glad
to
hear
that
we
can
be
helpful
for
most
of
you
and
especially
when
you
reach
out
with
questions
or
requests
through
memberdesk
or
through
reaching
out
to
us.
A
One-On-One
and
then
lastly,
60
of
you,
said
that
cncf
marketing
benefits
met
or
exceeded
your
expectations.
So
we
certainly
have
a
little
bit
of
room
to
grow
here
and
we
have
an
idea
of
kind
of
why
that
number
might
be
a
little
lower
than
what
we
expected,
but
we'll
go
ahead
and
get
into
that
in
a
second,
I
thought
from
a
top
line.
A
It
might
be
also
helpful
to
mention
what
the
survey
indicated
in
terms
of
what
are
the
most
valuable
programs
that
you
and
the
survey
folks
recognized
top
one
being
participating
in
kubecon
and
cloudnativecon,
not
really
a
surprise
there.
You
also
find
the
sponsorship
valuable
kubernetes
community
days,
our
online
programs,
which
is
our
webinar
program,
glad
to
see
that
that
made
the
top
five
that's
a
great
program
and
we
love
helping
and
supporting
you
there
and
then
you.
A
It
looks
like
the
member
blog
was
also
really
popular
and
folks
find
that
really
valuable,
so
just
wanted
to
bring
those
top
of
mind
for
all
of
you
in
terms
of
the
programs
that
were
found
valuable
when
it
comes
to
the
key
pieces
of
feedback.
There's
a
couple
things
in
here
that
I
wanted
to
highlight,
the
biggest
being
that
you
know
we
have
a
lot
of
new
folks
or
you
know,
contacts
that
have
changed
and
folks
are
unaware
are
not
sure
what
programs
they're
eligible
for
within
their
membership.
A
But
also
you
know
we
hear
a
lot
of
this
from
our
members
as
well,
that
you
know
there's
so
many
programs
and
it's
kind
of
sometimes
hard
to
navigate
and
figure
out
where
to
get
started
where
to
jump
in,
and
so
we
definitely
have
some
room
to
kind
of
grow
in
terms
of
how
we
can
make
it
a
little
easier
for
you.
We
have
some
ideas
around
some
brainstorm
sessions
for
these
meetings.
A
Some
other
ways
that
we
can
give
you
some
training,
make
basically
that
barrier
to
entry
a
little
bit
easier
for
you
to
get
started.
Also,
a
big
thing
that
we
heard
from
the
survey
was
that
you
all
want
more
networking
opportunities
specifically
within
this
meeting.
So
that's
something
that
we'll
be
focusing
on
this
year.
How
can
we
integrate
that?
I
know
it's
a
little
bit
challenging
given
the
pandemic
and
we're
all
remote
but
finding
some
creative
ways.
A
Maybe
we
do
some
breakout
rooms
things
like
that
to
kind
of
reinvigorate
the
networking
there
and
then.
Lastly,
there
was
an
ask
for
more
improved
metrics.
As
you
know,
we
launched
the
blog
dashboard
this
last
year
that
ties
in
the
google
analytics
data
and
we
got
great
feedback
from
that
that
you
all
really
like
that,
but
that
you
want
something
similar
for
online
programs
and
some
of
the
other
initiatives
that
we
run.
That's
something
else
that
we'll
be
focusing
on.
A
I
wanted
to
say
that
you
know
with
all
this
information
we'll
be
taking
these
into
consideration,
as
we
start
thinking
about
our
plans
and
our
programs
for
2022,
but
really
appreciate
you
all
taking
the
survey
and
I'm
gonna
take
a
break
for
a
second
and
just
check
the
chat
all
right,
we
will
keep
going
with
that.
It's
time
to
move
into
our
marketing
chair
elections.
A
We
have
four
nominees
joining
us
today
and
they're
going
to
be
sharing
about
five
minutes
of
why
they're
running
for
marketing,
chair
and
then
they'll
have
some
time
for
questions
and
answers
from
you
all
the
audience
and
then
after
they're
done
presenting
I'll
share
a
little
bit
more
about
kind
of
the
next
steps
and
process
how
the
election
will
run
from
there.
So
with
that,
I'm
going
to
go
ahead
and
pass
it
to
zoe
zoe.
Are
you
on
the
line?
B
Hi
everybody
I'm
zoe,
I've
been
at
equinix
metal,
formerly
pack
it
for
about
four
and
a
half
years
now,
and
I'm
interested
in
being
the
marketing
committee
chair
in
2022
for
a
variety
of
reasons.
B
One
of
the
biggest
ones
is
probably
because
one
of
the
first
events
that
I
ever
attended
was
kubecon
and
the
community
here
was
just
super
welcoming
having
not
come
from
a
technical
background.
It
was
nice
to
just
find
a
group
of
people
that
were.
B
Super
kind
and
generous
with
their
time
I
had
tons
of
questions
at
my
first
coupon,
the
first
one
being
what
is
a
kubernetes,
and
so
it
was
really
nice
to
have
someone
sit
down
with
me
and
take
the
time
to
kind
of
explain,
and
so
I
kind
of
want
to
be
the
marketing
committee
chair,
because
I
want
to
be
able
to
give
back
and
share
that
experience
that
I
had
with
other
people.
B
So
I'm
a
really
creative
problem,
solver,
I'm
a
very
attentive
listener.
I
have
a
big
background
in
the
cncf
community.
I've
attended
a
ton
of
cube
cons.
Oh
thank
you
for
that.
That's
so
sweet
of
you
yeah
and
I'm
skilled
at
live
and
virtual
event
planning
I've
hosted
a
ton
of
technical
meetups.
In
the
last
year.
During
the
pandemic,
I've
hosted
a
variety
of
day-long
educational
programs
on
our
youth
developer,
youtube
channel
and
I've
also
done
a
ton
of
creative
community
outreach
with
cncf.
B
In
the
last
year
we
put
together
the
cloud
native
community
cookbook
which
we're
working
on
version
2.0
for
cloud
native
con
in
in
detroit
this
year
this
year.
So
I'm
super
excited
about
that
and
yeah.
I
have
an
access
to
a
broad
network
that
spans
corporate
leaders,
founders,
sres,
etc
and
yeah.
I'm
just
super
passionate
about
this
community,
so
I
would
love
to
be
the
marketing
committee
chair
in
2022.
C
Yes,
thank
you
very
much.
Christy
hi,
my
name
is
rob
dolan,
I'm
running
for
marketing
committee
chair
to
serve
and
grow
the
cloud
native
community
because
I
believe
growing
cloud
native
market
ecos,
the
cloud
native
market
and
ecosystem
is
broadly
good
from
zoom
or
slack
conversations
with
many
of
you.
C
My
specific
goals
are
to
establish
monthly
office
hours
for
both
new
members
and
current
members
looking
to
learn
about
benefits
for
their
company
from
cncf,
or
just
to
ask
a
question
that
might
not
be
appropriate
for
100
person.
Zoom
next
expand
personal
connections
and
information
sharing,
I
hope,
to
grow.
C
Thanks
to
a
suggestion
from
mark
coleman,
I
hope
to
help
committee
members
bootstrap
new
ideas,
projects
or
initiatives.
I
slacked
with
someone
earlier
this
morning
about
revisiting
the
cncf
landscape
to
see
if
we
might
need
a
less
complex
format.
I
don't
know
about
y'all,
but
it's
kind
of
hard
to
read
it
without
a
magnifying
glass.
C
I
hope
to
reach
out
to
every
committee,
member
one-on-one
by
slack
or
email,
to
solicit
your
input,
we'll
be
able
to
achieve
these
goals.
As
I
bring
relevant
professional
and
volunteer
experience
in
2022
after
a
dozen
years
in
technology,
product
management.
At
microsoft,
I
made
an
internal
transfer
to
a
small
team
working
on
open
source
and
open
standards
inside
the
company,
a
company
whose
ceo
had
called
linux
a
cancer
I'm
proud
to
have
co-authored
successful
justifications
for
microsoft,
joining
the
linux
foundation
and
cncf.
As
a
platinum
member.
C
After
microsoft,
I
co-founded
a
green
energy
startup
that
built
cloud
native
as
a
volunteer.
I've
served
as
a
board
member
and
chair
for
the
city
of
seattle's
technology,
advisory
board
and
secretary
of
the
not
800
but
176
member
washington
state
democratic
party,
central
committee.
I
currently
lead
oracle,
cloud's
marketing
operations
and
analytics
team,
including
our
public-facing
website,
blog
and
virtual
and
live
community
events,
and
the
analytics
associated
with
these.
I
believe,
open
source
and
open
collaboration
are
more
productive
and
have
the
power
to
improve
our
communities,
our
companies
and
the
world.
C
A
D
Yes,
I'm
here
hello,
hi,
so
yeah,
my
name
is
carla
and
I
work
in
a
company
called
container
solutions,
which
is
a
cloud
native
consultancy
based
mostly
in
europe
and
canada,
at
container
solutions.
I
had
the
the
content
department,
which
includes
all
the
written
content,
live
events
and
the
community
activities
yeah.
Why
am
I
here
in,
I
think
2017?
D
I
was
lucky
to
see
the
clown
native
community
grow
from
almost
the
beginning
and
at
the
time
I
remember
that
I
was
running
a
conference
on
containers
and
sam
newman
was
a
part
of
the
program
committee
and
he
came
to
me
and
he
was
like.
I
think
you
should
do
something
with
cloud
native.
I
believe
it's
gonna
be
the
big
next
thing
and
I
was
like
okay.
D
I
guess
it's
right
because
since
then
we
launched
the
first
conference
in
london,
which
was
a
big
success
with
sherry
hung,
sam
newman
liz
rice,
all
the
big
amazing
experts
in
the
industry,
and
then
I
just
saw
the
community
growing
and
growing
and
becoming
even
more
exciting
with
all
the
new
technologies.
D
D
Because
that's
what
I'm
passionate
about
about
growing
communities
about
connecting
people
and
making
sure
that
everybody
has
an
opportunity
to
learn
and
to
share
what
they've
learned
with
with
new
members
with
new
people
in
the
community
of
the
cloud,
and
that's
also
why
accounting
resolutions
with
two
initiatives-
and
I
lead
initiatives
such
as
software
circles,
which
is
a
community
user
group,
and
we
also
have
conferences
around
that
and
the
the
recently
launched
wtf
is
call
native,
which
is
a
publication
with
a
monthly
newsletter
and
all
the
webinars
or
what
the
in
ours
as
we
call
them
where
every
month
we
share
new
topics
such
as
ebpf
or,
obviously
the
kubernetes.
D
What
else
we
also
have
big
conferences
that
I've
been
running
like
such
a
wtf
is
sorry,
so
basically,
I'm
constantly
trying
to
be
in
the
community
and
learn
from
the
community
and
actually
thank
you
zoe
for
the
cookbook,
because
I'm
in
there
with
a
japanese
swiss
roll,
you
can
try.
That
and
being
the
market
teacher
here
will
be
a
massive
massive
opportunity
to
help
the
community
become
even
more
inclusive
and
diverse
and
just
keep
learning
together.
A
Thank
you
carla,
I'm
starting
to
think.
Maybe
we
should
have
done
a
bake
off
or
some
sort
of
cooking
competition
for
this
with
all
of
the
cooking
experience,
maybe
for
next
year,
does
anybody
have
any
questions
for
carla
before
we
move
on
to
the
next
candidate?
I've.
E
Got
a
quick
question:
is
private
soundcar,
ceo
of
translucent
computing,
carla
yeah,
great
experience
by
the
way
wondering
with
the
wtf
and
again
well?
Of
course,
a
lot
of
people
have
seen
that
campaign.
Just
wondering
how
successful
was
that
and
what
what
are
the
kind
of
kpis
or
metrics
or
outcomes
that
were
positive
from
that.
D
Well,
actually,
it
is
working
very
well
for
us.
We
have
over
1
500
subscribers,
the
newsletter
that
we
reach
in
in
just
one
year
and
for,
for
example,
the
conference
that
we
launched
last
year
around
sre
that,
by
the
way
is
coming
back
this
april
we
managed
to
get
over
4
000
people
registered.
It
was
the
the
first
launch
of
a
conference
and
we
are
quite
proud
because
now
you
know
people
are
reaching
out
to
us
because
they
want
to
be
part
of
our
publication.
D
A
F
F
But
anyway,
thank
you,
everybody
to
I'm
glad
to
be
here.
My
name
is
ottavi
santana,
I'm
brazilian
and
I
belong
off
so
java.
So
java
is
a
free
organization
who
has
the
main
goal
to
engage
the
whole
java
community.
However,
right
now
we
are
looking
more
to
language
and
that's
why,
right
now
we
are
we'd
like
to
participate
more
in
cncf.
Why?
Basically,
because
we're
able
to
do
more
integrations
between
language,
for
example,
python
java
in
the
whole
latin
america,
as
well
inside
the
cncf,
for
example,
before
the
pandemic
situation.
F
We
have
a
strong
connection
with
foundations,
for
example,
claims
foundation,
apache
foundation,
where
we
would
like
to
put
more
connection
because
at
the
end
we
care
about
developers
right
it's
to
developers
for
developers
and
for
sure
we
are
glad
to
help
more
in
meetups
around
the
globe,
but
not
only
to
tcd
but
language
community
as
well.
For
example,
java
with
kubernetes
java
with.
F
Cloud
native
as
python
I
go
whatever,
and
the
the
main
point
here
to
us
so
java
is
to
talk
more
about
language
and
integrate
more
to
the
java
and
any
language
programming
in
latin
america
as
well.
A
D
G
A
All
right
well,
thank
you
again
to
our
nominees
for
taking
the
time
to
introduce
themselves
and
we've
provided
their
linkedin
information
in
the
slides,
as
well
as
bullet
points
on
some
of
the
points
that
they
covered
here
in
this
short
time
that
we
had
and
just
a
couple
notes
on
the
next
step.
So,
as
you
know,
everyone
presented
today
we'll
go
ahead
and
open
up
the
nomination
form.
A
You
will
get
a
link
to
a
survey
monkey
of
where
you
can
vote
via
email,
either
later
today
or
early
tomorrow,
so
be
on
the
lookout
for
that
and
then
we'll
run
the
voting
period
through
the
19th.
After
the
voting
period
ends,
then
the
winner
will
be
declared
and
we
will
announce
the
new
marketing
committee
chair
on
our
next
meeting
on
february,
2nd
so
be
sure
to
vote
watch
out
for
your
email
for
where
to
vote,
how
that
works,
and
thank
you
again
to
our
nominees.
A
I'm
really
excited
to
see
who
is
our
next
chair
and
carries
on
the
legacy
of
lexi
and
caitlin
from
last
year?
So
thanks
everyone
with
that,
I'm
going
to
go
ahead
and
pass
it
over
to
our
analyst
team.
They
have
an
industry
analyst
coverage
report
that
I
am
eager
to
bite
my
teeth
into
so
carl
or
trisha.
Are
you
on
the
line?
Yeah
hi?
I'm.
H
Here
carl
is
here
too
so
yeah.
We
just
wanted
to
share
with
you
that
every
year
throughout
the
year,
we
engage
and
run
an
analyst
relations
program.
The
purpose
of
this
is
we're:
influencing
and
sharing
information
with,
the
industry
analysts
across
firms
about
cncf
the
cloud
native
community
projects,
trends
and,
more
importantly,
to
amplify
the
use
cases
and
the
experiences
that
we're
hearing
from
you.
So
this
annual
report
is
here
for
you.
H
It
provides
a
landscape
of
the
top
analysts
that
we're
engaging
and
who
are
covering
the
cloud
native
space
and
the
different
technology
areas.
It
also
includes
some
highlights
from
coverage
from
the
their
year,
so
you
can
use
this
information
to
better
understand
these
influencers
and
in
your
roles
that
you're
in
in
marketing.
This
can
be
great
for
sourcing
content
or
finding
the
right
analyst,
who
might
be
able
to
support
your
demand,
gen
programs
or
even
just
know,
who's
influencing
the
press.
H
Who
are
the
press
going
to
asking
about
the
trends
in
this
space
and
who's
influencing
the
buyers
in
the
market
in
general
right?
So
a
couple
of
the
things
if
you
can
just
go
to
the
key
takeaways
there
christy
some
of
the
key
takeaways
that
we've
seen
is
the
analysts
I
mean
first
of
all,
cloud
native
is
evolving.
We're
seeing
this
across
all
of
the
analysts
coverage
that
we
track,
that
it's
really
evolving
from
a
technology
enabler
to
a
business
disruptor.
So
these
macroeconomic
trends
that
we're
all
dealing
with
is
really
shaping.
H
You
know
the
push
towards
these
technologies
and
what's
happening
in
in
the
engagement
that
we're
doing
with
these
analysts
is
they're
asking
for
more
use
cases
to
support
how
end
users
are
using
the
technologies
to
address
these
business
challenges
and
what
are
the
outcomes
of
these?
So
please
keep
that
content
coming.
H
That's
really
a
significant
part
of
this
community
and
us
sharing
that
with
the
analysts
they
appreciate
it,
and
it
just
really
helps
for
us
to
make
sure
that
they're
hearing
what
you're
experiencing
they're,
also
looking
at
how
the
vendors
like
you
and
your
companies
are
transforming
their
offerings
to
move
from
supporting
the
technology
disruption
to
how
their
offerings
are
addressing
disruption,
disruption
around
higher
level,
business,
compliance,
society,
societal
and
environmental
issues.
So
it's
no
longer
just
about
the
technology
and
the
development,
the
code,
it's
really
about
that
bigger
business
transformation.
H
So
you'll
see
some
of
those
takeaways
in
here.
Some
of
the
move
towards
them
covering
more
on
cloud
cost
management
on
fin-ops,
you're
you'll,
see
also
that
cncf
projects
actually
just
as
an
example,
are
being
written
about
with
increased
frequency
across
all
the
firms
using
gartner
as
an
example,
cncf
projects
were
mentioned
in
25,
actually
more
than
that
in
the
gartner
2021
hype
cycles
that
they
they
release
every
july.
So
there's
a
lot
a
lot
more
information
like
this
and
more
in
this
report.
H
We
encourage
you
to
go,
take
a
look.
If
you
have
any
questions
or
you
just
would
like
some
consult
or
follow
up,
please
reach
out
carl
myself.
The
team
is
here:
we
love
working
with
the
analysts.
We
love
working
with
everyone
here
so
with
that.
If
anyone
has
any
questions,
let
me
know
other
than
that.
I
will
turn
it
back
over
to
you.
Christy.
A
Awesome
thanks
so
much
trisha
and
thanks
for
putting
that
together,
I
know
you
know
some
of
us
might
not
have
access
to
all
of
these
analyst
firms.
So
this
information
is
super
useful,
especially
as
you're
thinking
about
you
know
different
reports
or
things
that
you
might
be
running
on
from
your
company.
So
that's
awesome
and
awesome
to
see
the
increase
25
for
cncf
projects
definitely
going
to
dive
in
a
little
bit
more
on
that
on
my
end,
but
love
to
see
that
I'll
hold
on
for
just
one.
A
A
So
if
you
haven't
booked
your
slot
for
q1
highly
encourage
you
to
do
that
if
you're
new
and
you
might
be
wondering
what
is
an
online
program-
that
we're
happy
to
help
feel
free
to
reach
out
to
the
online
programs,
alias
libby
will
get
you
connected
and
happy
to
bring
you
up
to
beat
on
that.
A
A
There's
information
in
here
on
how
to
submit
the
form
to
make
sure
that
you
get
on
that
page,
specifically,
if
you're
a
ktp
and
if
you
have
any
questions,
feel
free
to
reach
out
to
myself
or
bill
and
we'll
get
you
connected
there
and
last
of
the
announcements
is
that
I'm
super
excited
to
announce
that
we're
hiring
in
a
couple
different
roles
here.
One
is
our
head
of
community
program,
so
somebody
that
will
support
in
our
kubernetes
community
days.
A
In
our
other
initiatives
like
cloud
native
tv
bill
has
accepted
another
role
and
so
he'll
be
moving
into
a
contractor
position
in
february.
We're
sad
to
see
him
go,
but
super
excited
that
he'll
still
be
engaged
with
the
community,
but
definitely
need
a
new
bill.
If
you
will
to
fill
that
role
and
then
we're
also
hiring
in
the
ecosystem
land
in
terms
of
our
end,
users
so
feel
free
to
check
out
our
job
descriptions.
A
A
It
looks
like
there
hasn't
been
any
activity
in
the
last
couple
months,
probably
given
the
holiday
and
everything,
but
if
you
know
of
an
acquisition
that
we
might
not
be
tracking
here
for
free
to,
let
me
know
and
I'll
update
the
slide,
and
with
that
I'm
going
to
go
ahead
and
hand
it
over
to
our
pr
team,
katie
or
jessie.
You
want
to
take
it
away.
Yeah.
It's.
I
Jessie
hi,
so
actually
this
is
just
trish.
I
don't
know
if
you
wanted
to
talk
about
this.
I
think
it's
pretty
self-explanatory.
Just
some
coverage
that
we
received
from
analysts
over
the
last
month,
or
so
so
these
are
great.
Most
of
them
require
subscription
access
but
great
to
look
through.
If
you
have
that
and
then
we
had
a
really
great
article
that
came
in
the
next
slide
from
venturebeat
on
the
cloud
native
survey
that
katie's
going
to
kind
of
jump
into
more
on
the
next
slide.
I
But
this
was
really
great.
It
was
actually
paul.
Sawyer's
wrote
this
really
great
article
totally
worth
looking
at
and
then
he
actually
included
us
again
in
a
second
article
like
a
week
later,
so
that
was
really
lovely
to
see
and
then
yeah
on
the
next
slide.
Katie
can
kind
of
maybe
just
give
a
quick
overview
of
this
slash
data
survey
that
we
did
sure.
G
Yes,
we've
been
working
with
slash
data
for
the
past
couple
of
years
to
kind
of
get
a
better
idea
of
the
state
of
cloud
native
development
and
developers
and
kubernetes,
and
this
is
our
third
report
that
we've
done
with
them
and
overall,
just
a
couple
quick
highlights:
things
are
really
trending
up.
G
G
I
Cool
and
then
we
had
kubernetes
1.23
that
was
released.
He
got
a
bunch
of
really
good
coverage
that
kind
of
keeps
rolling
in,
but
yeah
tons
of
good
stuff
there.
So
we're
good
I'm
happy
to
see
that
it
still
has
massive
interest
from
the
media.
Actually
it's
despite
having
many
different
releases,
everybody's,
always
interested
and
then
for
these
key
messages
that
we
have
here
we
just
have.
This
is
pretty
similar.
Machine
learning
actually
took
over
security.
This
last
in
december,
which
was
interesting
because
security's
been
number
one.
I
I
think
for
like
as
long
as
we've
been
doing
this,
I'm
not
too
far
behind,
but
there's
that
one
and
then
we
just
have
just
for
your
viewing
pleasure
graduated
projects
and
incubating
projects
just
get
an
idea
of
how
many
times
they're
mentioned
in
in
the
press
so
hope.
That's
helpful.
A
Great,
thank
you
so
much
katie
and
jesse
for
the
update
and
now
we'll
go
into
the
cart
content
marketing
side.
Libby.
Do
you
want
to
give
us
an
update
on
online
programs.
J
Sure,
hey
everybody.
In
the
month
of
december,
we
did
three
live
streams:
eight
on-demand
webinars
one
live
webinar
and
two
end
user
lounge
live
streams,
we're
still
seeing
a
great
trend
of
post-event,
on-demand
watches
on
youtube,
which
is
great,
and
the
live
streams,
continue
to
be
very
popular
and
draw
a
great
crowd.
We
are
changing
up
now
in
the
new
year
to
stream
back
to
three
different
platforms
during
the
live
stream.
So
we
should
see
the
live.
Views
go
up
again.
J
J
We
are
going
to
be
working
on
some
little.
How
to
submit
articles.
H
J
Please
we're
gonna
be
sorry:
we've
got
a
quarantine
going
on.
E
A
Nowhere
with
libby
yeah
I
can,
I
can
take
it
for
you.
Libby
just
said
an
update
on
cube
weekly
yeah,
this
art.
This
is
our
weekly
creativity
cloud
native
newsletter,
still
going
strong,
as
you
can
see.
Thank
you
again,
as
libby
said,
for
sending
all
of
your
content.
A
If
you're
curious
about
cube
weekly
and
how
you
can
submit
your
own
content,
we've
got
our
guidelines
in
here,
as
well
as
the
alias
feel
free
to
reach
out,
but
again
glad
to
see
this
newsletter
continue
to
grow
and
with
that
I'll,
kick
it
over
to
charlie
to
talk
about
blogs
and
case
studies,
lovely
thanks.
K
J
C
If
you
get
your
kids
on
camera,
you
get
a
little,
you
get
a
win
or
something
or
a
t-shirt.
K
K
Awesome
well
as
christy
said
earlier,
thank
you
very
much
for
your
feedback
on
our
blog
analytics
and
our
case
study
analytics
in
the
the
marketing
survey.
It
was
really
great
to
hear
that
you
were
all
benefiting.
K
On
this,
you
can
also
get
all
the
pleasure
and
if
you
can,
click
to
the
next
slide,
please
christy.
So
just
a
reminder.
Folks
about
our
end
user
case
studies,
we've
just
kicked
off
the
year
with
a
really
great
case,
study
from
lara
do
who
I'm
probably
pronouncing
slightly
wrong,
because
my
french
is
terrible,
fascinating
company.
They
actually
went
from
near
bankruptcy
to
completely
turning
around
and
becoming
one
of
the
biggest
online
retailers
in
france
and
indeed
in
europe
in
just
four
years.
K
K
If
you
are
a
member
or
if
you
are
a
project
maintainer
you
can
still
join
in.
You
can
still
submit
case
studies.
They
just
need
to
be
about
one
of
your
end
users,
focusing
on
something
great
that
they've
been
doing
either
with
your
project,
which
of
course,
will
be
a
cncf
project
all
with
with
cncf's
cloud
native
technology.
K
You
can
get
started
anytime.
Just
click
on
that
link
through
to
github
and
submit
your
proposal
for
what
you'd
like
to
do.
Also
it
doesn't
have
to
be
written.
You
can
take
advantage
of
video
case
studies
and,
if
you
have
any
questions
whatsoever,
feel
free
to
reach
out
to
me
at
any
time.
I'm
on
the
cncf
slack,
I'm
the
one
with
the
horse
in
the
picture.
So
look
forward
to
working
with
many
of
you
in
the
coming
12
months
to
get
some
more
great
stories
out.
There.
A
A
F
A
Just
a
quick
update
on
our
kubernetes
community
days,
we
have
a
it
looks
like
the
cfp
is
open
for
kcd
bengaluru.
A
We
are
going
to
be
working
on
how
we
can
better
structure
this
in
terms
of
organization
dates
of
when
these
are
up
and
coming,
but
if
you'd
like
to
get
involved
with
any
of
these
kcds
highly
recommend
you
check
out
the
project
boards
or,
if
you'd
like
to
submit
one
in
your
area,
you
can
click
the
link
here
to
learn
more
about
that
and
then
just
a
super
quick
snapshot
of
some
events
that
we're
going
to
be
at
we're
going
to
be
at
the
chaos
carnival
coming
up
in
just
a
couple
weeks
here
and
then
scale
19x
in
march,
and
with
that
now
I'll
hand
it
over
to
you
vanessa,
thanks
christy
apologies.
A
My
voice
is
going
in
and
out
this
morning.
So
let
me
know
if
you
can't
hear
me:
okay
first
here
we
have
our
post
event:
demographic
card
from
kubecon,
china,
some
good
data.
Here
from
the
event,
we
will
be
publishing
our
full
post
event,
transparency
report,
the
week
of
january
24th,
and
that
will
be
shared
with
all
sponsors
at
that
time
go
ahead
and
go
on
thanks
christy.
A
A
We
were
able
to
do
a
site
visit
in
november
and
just
absolutely
fell
in
love
with
the
city,
and
so
I
think,
everybody's
going
to
be
really
excited
to
go
and
be
there
hotel
accommodations
go
ahead
and
start
booking.
Now,
we've
got
everything
up
on
the
website.
We
have
some
airline
discounts
available
for
attendees
as
well,
so
those
are
both
located
on
our
venue
and
travel.
Page
registration
is
open.
So
please
start
registering.
A
We
are
continuing
with
our
health
and
safety
protocols
into
2022.
You
can
review
the
full
health
and
safety
requirements
on
our
website,
including
vaccine
requirements.
We
will
be
updating
those
in
the
weeks
to
come,
so
please
check
back
for
for
updates.
A
A
Thank
you
to
all
of
our
sponsors
who
have
confirmed
to
support
kubecon
europe.
Of
course
we
couldn't
do
this
without
you
thanks
christy,
we
have
launched
six
cncf,
hosted
co-located
events
I'll.
Let
you
read
through
all
the
details
here,
but
registration
is
open,
cfps
are
open
and
sponsorships
are
open.
So,
if
you're
interested
please
visit
all
of
those
websites.
A
And
then
our
sponsor
hosted
co-located
event
packages
opened
this
week.
You
can
view
page
eight
of
the
prospectus
for
full
package
details,
but
we
are
offering
three
in-person
packages:
the
50-person
classroom,
100
classroom,
150
person,
classroom
and
then,
of
course,
our
community
cross
promotion.
Mpo
package
space
is
limited.
So
if
you
are
interested,
I
please
take
a
moment
to
read
the
co-located
best
practices
and
event
guide
and
submit
your
request.
A
A
And
then
kubecon
north
america
is
being
held
october,
24th
28th
in
detroit
the
venue
has
recently
changed
their
name.
So
it's
now
called
the
huntington
place.
Just
everybody's
aware
the
cfp
will
open
in
march
and
our
sponsorship
deadline
is
july.
22Nd.
A
Some
more
information
here
on
this
slide
about
sponsorship,
opportunities,
important
dates
and
then
our
sponsorship
diamond
lottery
information
is
available
here,
thanks,
christy
great
thanks
vanessa,
it
looks
like
we
have.
A
couple
of
questions
in
the
chat,
looks
like
there's
a
question
around
servicemeshcon
and
if
that's
going
to
be
a
colo
for
this
year,
it
actually
is
going
to
be
a
colo.
A
They
we
just
got
confirmation,
so
they'll
it'll
be
launching
soon
in
the
next
week
or
so
great
and
then
there's
another
question
around
registration
numbers,
and
you
know
if
both
will
be
updated
on
this
marketing
community
call.
I
know
we
kind
of
give
periodic
updates,
but
vanessa
you
want
to
get
the
official
word
there.
A
Yes,
so
registration
is
off
to
a
good
start.
We
will
be
sharing
more
registration
information
as
we
get
closer
to
the
event.
It's.
I
would
not
you
know.
Registration
trends
are
different
at
any
given
point
and
they're,
not
a
clear
indicator
of
you
know,
what's
happening
so
as
we
get
closer,
we
will
share
more
information,
but
as
of
now
we're
off
to
a
really
good
start.
A
My
background
is
the
oregon
beach,
it's
not
as
like,
pretty
and
glamorous,
but
it's
we're
still
here
in
oregon.
Awesome
well
looks
like
that
covers
the
questions
in
the
chat,
and
that
brings
us
through
to
our
agenda,
for
today's
call
and
as
I
was
saying
earlier
in
the
appendix
here,
there's
a
couple
resources
for,
if
you're
newer,
maybe
you
forgot
the
link
to
something:
we've
got
a
slide
of
our
marketing
committee
links
of
where
to
find
the
slides
the
recordings
on
youtube,
et
cetera.
A
We've
also
got
a
slide
on
member
resources,
so
our
member
welcome
deck,
there's
some
information
about
the
toc,
the
job
board,
etc,
and
if
you
are
new-
or
maybe
you
just
want
to
refresh
on
some
of
these
programs,
bill
and
charlie
hosted
a
great
section
session
at
cubecon
north
america,
where
it's
called
building
your
brand
and
they're
going
to
walk
you
through
all
these
different
programs
and
show
you
how
to
use
them
with
your
membership.
So
that's
a
great
session
to
check
out.
A
If
you
haven't
and
have
some
time,
there's
also
some
information
here,
some
updates
on
our
different
training
programs,
if
you're
curious,
you're
welcome
to
peruse
those
at
your
own
leisure,
but
otherwise
that
takes
us
to
the
very
end
I'll
hold
it
for
just
another
minute.
Does
anybody
have
any
last-minute
comments,
questions
that
they
want
to
go
through.
A
Awesome,
oh
shout
out
for
libby
for
the
online
programs
work
love
to
see
it
great
well
with
that.
Thank
you.
Everyone
for
joining
us
today,
again
happy
new
year
stay
tuned
in
your
email
for
information
on
how
to
get
started
with
the
voting
for
our
marketing
committee
election.
Thank
you
again
to
our
nominees,
and
hopefully
everybody
has
a
good
rest
of
the
week
and
stays
healthy
thanks.
Everybody
bye.
