From YouTube: CNCF Marketing Committee Meeting - August 2023
Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
All
right
well
welcome
everybody
to
the
marketing
committee
call
for
August,
hopefully
you're
in
the
right
place.
I'm
Christy,
tan,
I'm,
director
of
marketing
and
member
programs
here
at
cncf
I
will
be
walking
you
through
some
updates
today
and
diving
into
the
cncf
blog
as
a
requested
topic
really
excited
to
do
that
with
our
content
manager.
Charlie.
A
The
good
news
is,
is
that
you
made
it
here,
so
you
don't
need
this
conference
information
but
did
want
to
call
out.
Our
next
meeting
will
be
on
September
6th
in
a
little
over
a
month
or
less
than
a
month.
I
guess,
as
you
know,
this
call
will
be
recorded.
If
you
don't
want
to
be
recorded,
please
stay
off
camera
and
mute.
You
can
leverage
the
chat
for
that
and
then
also
a
reminder
that
we
do
record
these
meetings
for
members.
A
Only
the
recording
and
slides
will
be
available
within
the
week
of
the
meeting.
I've
also
put
the
slides
in
the
chat
if
you'd
like
to
follow
along
at
your
own
pace
that
works
as
well
and
you'll
have
them
in
your
email
or
via
Slack.
Just
a
quick
reminder
on
the
LF
Anti-Trust
policy:
if
you
have
any
questions
about
that
feel
free
to
reference
this
slide
and
then
here's
today's
agenda.
A
As
I
mentioned,
we're
going
to
be
diving
into
the
cncf
blog
with
Charlie,
we'll
have
a
quick
projects
update
and
then
we
will
jump
into
the
regularly
scheduled
cncf
team
updates.
C
Thanks
Christy
and
hello,
everyone
all
right,
so,
let's
dive
into
the
the
cncf
blog
what
works
and
how
to
get
published
so
yeah
Christy.
Thank
you.
So
much
for
driving
I'll
give
you
a
heads
up
and
we're
ready
to
click
through
to
the
next
slide,
so
yeah.
So
we're
happy
to
share
a
bit
of
Insider
information
on
the
cncf
blog
and
we
really
hope
this
gives
you
greater
insight
into
this
resource
and
also
how
you
can
start
to
leverage
it
more
for
your
activities.
C
So,
first
up,
the
cmcf
blog
actually
accounts
for
almost
25
of
all
site
traffic
to
cncf.io
and
in
the
last
six
months
alone
it's
become
the
number
one
destination
for
visitors
to
cncf,
which
is
absolutely
fantastic.
It
does
drive
an
awful
lot
of
page
views.
The
number
three
destination
you
see
here
is
actually
ever
since
our
analytics
began
way
back
in
2016.
So
we're
really
proud
of
how
this
Blog
has
grown
and
developed
along
with
the
community
and,
of
course,
a
lot
of
this
high
traffic.
C
It
has
to
do
with
content,
absolutely
everything
that
we
do
links
back
to
the
cncf
community.
So
the
content
that
you'll
see
on
our
blog
is
articles
about
graduated
and
incubating
projects.
We've
got
technical
content
and
how
to's
stories
about
Cloud,
native
and
project
deployments
use
cases
success
stories.
Another
great
one
is
like
the
industry
insight
into
the
cloud
native
adoption,
and
also
we
have
some
great
reports
from
cncf
events
that
come
not
just
from
staff
but
also
from
the
community.
So
if
you
could
click
through
to
the
next
one,
please
Christy.
C
So
in
this
slide,
we
basically
just
wanted
to
give
you
an
overview
of
where
the
big
Peaks
and
traffic
have
been
ever
since
2016,
because
we
do
have
some
pretty
huge
ones,
as
you
can
see,
and
all
these
Peaks
correspond
to
technical
announcements,
about
projects
or
highly
topical
technical
blocks
and
actually,
most
recently,
just
on
the
11th
of
last
month,
Cuba
1.0
announcement
went
out
on
the
blog
and
that's
wrapped
up
to
11
000
views.
So
this
really
does
show
the
community
is
coming
to
the
blog
to
digest
the
latest
news
and
updates.
C
C
So
where
are
all
of
these
lovely
folks
coming
from
so
I
wanted
to
have
a
look
at
the
referrals
and
the
languages
that
people
are
browsing
in
so
referrals
here
are
the
places
where
folks
were
before
they
entered
the
cncf
blog.
So
how
do
they
search
basically,
most
notably
Google
search
engine
is
responsible
for
majority
of
our
visitors,
but
she'd
take
a
look
at
this
and
bear
in
mind
that
Twitter
or
whatever
we're
calling
it
now
LinkedIn
and
GitHub.
C
C
We
also
thought
it
might
be
interesting
to
have
a
look
at
the
languages
that
folks
are
browsing
in
so,
of
course,
Google
analytics
it
references
a
user's
language
settings
in
their
web
browser
to
determine
their
preferred
language
and
the
country
from
which
they're
browsing
the
website.
Of
course,
users
do
kind
of
have
a
hand
in
we.
C
However,
it's
quite
interesting
as
well
to
see
that
China
or
Chinese.
This
is
some
Mainland.
Simplified
characters
accounts
for
a
huge
number
of
visitors.
We've
also
got
German
Japanese,
French,
Russian
and
Brazilian
Portuguese
that
round
out
the
top
10.
C
you
can
go
to
the
next
slide,
please
Christy
brilliant.
So
next
up
these
are
the
five
most
popular
blogs
of
all
time
on
cncf.io,
as
you
can
see,
all
of
these
are
technical.
In
fact,
adding
code
Snippets
to
your
blog
really
does
correlate
to
a
higher
readership
and
even
better
if
you're,
adding
comparison
between
methodologies.
I
do
want
to
caveat
that
with
we
don't
allow
posts
directly
comparing
to
cncf
projects.
C
So
if
you
was
take
a
look,
for
example,
like
the
advanced
kubernetes
pod
to
node
scheduling
blog
it
actually
Compares
resource
types
and
explain
how
best
to
leverage
these
another
thing
to
note
here
is
that
three
of
these
blogs
they
were
not
original.
These
were
reposted
and
we
do
allow
reposting
on
the
cncf
blog
so
long
as
the
content
is
not
older
than
two
months
and
the
content
spender
neutral.
C
So
this
is
another
good
one
to
keep
in
mind
if
you've
got
great
content
on
your
blog
and
you
want
to
share
it
with
a
wider
audience.
You
do
have
a
resource
here
at
cncf
to
do
that
and
go
to
the
next
one.
Please
Christie
cool,
so
I
guess
the
big
question
now
is:
how
do
you
get
on
the
cncf
blog?
We
do
have
some
rules
so
only
cncf
members,
maintainers
have
graduated
and
incubating
projects,
special
interest
groups
and
ambassadors
can
sub
content.
C
And
crucially,
your
content
must
be
vendor
neutral
and,
of
course,
we're
not
going
to
demand
that
you
don't
put
any
company
names
on
blogs,
but
I
think
the
best
way
to
kind
of
think
about
vendor
neutrality
is
when
you're
reading
your
content.
Does
it
feel
like
an
advertisement?
If
it
does
it's
probably
not
vendor
neutral,
so
we
wouldn't
be
able
to
post
it
on
the
blog
and
if
you
go
to
the
next
one
Christy.
C
C
C
So
I
guess
the
big
one
is,
if
you
are
feeling
inspired
to
post
on
the
blog,
which
I
really
hope
you
are.
The
best
thing
to
do
is
check
out
our
GitHub
guidelines
and
I've
linked
you
to
these.
In
the
last
two
slides
and
in
there
you
will
find
the
email
address
to
get
in
touch
with
us
and
also
the
way
that
you
need
to
format
your
blogs
for
posting.
C
A
Awesome,
thank
you.
Charlie
I
just
saw
something
in
the
chat.
Give
me
just
one
second
here:
oh
perfect,
oh
yeah,
this
was
really
great
Charlie
I
love,
seeing
the
content
over
time
as
kind
of
crazy.
That's
you
know
some
of
the
stuff
had
been
reposted
from
other
member
blogs,
which
is
what
we
have
seen
before.
So
this
is
great.
A
We
also
do
I
wanted
to
mention
that,
if
you're
curious
more
about
kind
of
real-time
analytics,
if
you
want
to
look
at
like
the
last
month
or
two,
we
do
also
have
an
analytics
dashboard
that
you
have
access
to
as
a
member.
It's
further
down
in
Charlie's
content
slides
later,
but
that
also
can
be
a
great
resource
if
you're
kind
of
looking
for
something
to
use.
A
But
this
is
super
helpful
Charlie
thanks
for
pulling
it
together
and,
of
course,
if
you
have
more
questions,
feel
free
to
reach
out
to
Charlie
we're
here
to
help.
A
Oh,
there
is
a
question
in
the
chat
hold
on
I
had
heard
something
about
the
raid
that
we're
allowed
to
submit
posts
on
the
cncf
blog.
Can
you
clarify
that
yeah
I
know
I.
C
Just
answered
that
in
the
chat
as
well,
I'm
just
consider
one
blog
post
per
month.
Perfect.
Of
course,
if
you
are
a
member
organization
and
you
say,
have
an
ambassador
working
for
you,
that
is
another
way
that
you
can
post
into
the
blog
as
well,
because,
of
course,
ambassadors
are
allowed
to
post
I
think
as
much
as
they
want
Katie.
D
Here
sorry,
yes,
there
isn't
currently
a
limit
on
the
amount
of
times
an
ambassador
can
post
a
month.
Typically
most
ambassadors
post,
maybe
once
or
twice
a
month.
A
E
Hey
y'all,
so
I
hope
everyone
is
doing
well,
it's
been
a
while,
since
we've
had
a
chat,
so
it's
good
to
see
so
many
people
on
and
like
Christy
said
I
know
it's
end
of
summer
and
we're
all
praying
for
a
good
restart
for
the
year
and
a
nice
end
of
vacation
times.
If
we
still
have
vacation
coming
so
George
is.
E
He
was
introduced
last
week
and
we're
super
stoked
to
have
him
on
board.
He
is
focusing
on
projects
and
one
of
the
things
that
I
really
wanted
to
work
with
this
year,
as
chair
of
the
marketing
committee
was
to
get
stronger
communication
between
the
projects,
the
committee
and
cncf
in
general.
E
So
we
are
going
to
be
starting
a
project
focused
working
group,
so
instead
of
kind
of
discussing
projects
during
this
call
it'll
be
an
off
call
where
we,
if
you're
interested
we'd
love
to
have
you
and
sort
of
talk
about
all
of
the
things
we
sort
of
mentioned
earlier
this
year,
where
there
were
some
highs
and
some
lows
and
some
some
blanks
that
we'd
like
to
fill
in
so
George
I,
know
I'm
kind
of
rambling.
If
you
want
to
jump
in
here,
but
putting
you
on
the
spot,
oh.
E
F
Yeah,
so
one
of
the
things
we
would
also
like
to
do
is
in
order
to
generate
the
slide
that
has
all
the
project
updates
would
be
to
kind
of
throughout
the
month,
be
meeting
on
a
regular
basis
and
be
able
to
kind
of
get
a
head
start
on
all
of
the
things
that
are
coming
down
the
pipeline
and
the
hope
that
you
know
by
the
time
you
get
to
this
meeting.
If
you
just
want
the
top
level
view,
you
can
do
that
or
if
there's
a
project,
that's
coming
down
the
pipe.
F
Let's
say
it's
on
its
way:
up
up
the
maturity
ladder
or
whatever
you
can
get
involved
in
the
working
meeting
earlier.
If
you
want
to
kind
of
get
a
head
start
on
what's
coming
on
the
pipe
and
then
Katie
who
I
think
is
in
this
call
also
has
a
bunch
of
ideas
for
programs
and
things
for
projects
and
that's
kind
of
going
to
be
where
we
meet
every
week
and
get
some
work
done.
Do
some
items
and
report
back
to
the
team?
Does
that
make
sense
to
everybody?
Did
I
leave
anything
out.
E
I
think
that's
great
and
I
think
that
the
thing
that
I
really
want
to
stress
is
that
there's
so
many
people
that
join
this
call
that
have
a
different
skill
set
and
I
think
those
skill
sets
can
be
helped
with
the
projects
that
are
missing.
Some
of
those
skill
sets
right,
they're
too
busy
working
on
coding.
They
don't
understand,
you
know
what
is
an
email
campaign
or
or
how
do
I
create
something.
That's
easy
to
find
like
what
resources
do.
E
I
have
that
I'm
missing
out
on
or
how
do
I
take
like
my
top
five
release
notes
and
make
it
into
something
interesting
that
I
can
then
tweet
about
and
share
with
the
cncf,
so
they
can
share
it
out.
So
I
think
it's
just
a
matter
of
trying
to
tap
into
this
Brain
Trust
and
get
some
some
help
for
the
projects.
So,
if
you're
interested
holler,
let
us
know.
A
That's
great
thanks
so
much
for
the
update
excited
to
see
this
working
group
come
together
and
as
Lori
and
George
mentioned,
if
you
are
interested,
feel
free
to
give
a
shout
in
slack
or
in
the
chat
and
they'll
connect
you
with
their
future
meetings
but
excited
to
get
an
update
next
month
and
and
see
how
that
shakes
out
thanks,
everybody
all
right
well
with
that,
we
will
move
into
our
regularly
scheduled
programming
around
here.
Our
updates
I'll
kick
these
off
so
excited
to
welcome
our
new
silver
members.
A
If
you're
new
on
the
call
welcome
we're
excited
to
have
you
and
of
course,
at
the
end
of
this
slide
deck,
we
have
a
slide
that
has
member
resources.
So
if
you
are
new
and
haven't
had
your
new
member
welcome,
call
there's
a
lot
of
great
stuff
at
the
end
of
this
deck
that
you're
welcome
to
peruse,
or
you
can
reach
out
to
me
or
anyone
on
the
team
one-on-one
and
we're
happy
to
get
you
onboarded
or
give
you
more
information
about
some
of
these
programs.
A
G
Yeah
hi
everyone
thanks
christophy,
so
first
we
just
wanted
to
highlight
a
really
special
article
that
appeared
this
month
in
CNBC.
G
G
G
And
then
yeah
speaking
of
project
movements,
we've
had
quite
a
few
projects
in
the
past
month,
move
level.
So
the
first
one
was
the
graduation
of
istio
and
just
highlighting
some
of
the
top
coverage.
G
Okay,
this
one
has
done
really
well,
it's
been
been
really
popular
with
the
media,
so
yeah
some
really
good
coverage,
and
then
we
also
had
the
graduation
of
cryo
and
the
kubeflow
joined
the
incubators,
which
was
a
new
project
and
those
still
have
some
coverage,
trickling
in
and
yeah
just
kind
of
going
back
to
the
blog
we,
as
Charlie
mentioned,
the
project
update,
are
the
most
well
performing
blogs.
G
Typically,
so
we
had
flux,
announced
GA
of
it's
B2,
and
then
we
also
had
a
few
security
audits
that
were
completed
in
July.
H
Cool
thanks,
Katie,
yeah
I,
hope
everyone's
having
a
good
week.
It's
that
time
of
the
year
again,
hype
Cycles
are
in
full
swing
and
there's
been
a
lot
of
momentum
around
them
with
the
cncf
hosted
projects
and
the
cncf
itself.
So
that's
been
fantastic
to
see
those
are
still
rolling
out,
but
so
far
there's
about
102,
published
and
normally
gardeners
in
the
100
around
100,
so
I
think
they're
they're
coming
to
a
close
for
those
of
you
who
don't
know
about
Gartner
hype
Cycles.
H
Essentially
they
track
the
technology
maturity
and
it's
it's
a
tool
for
end
users
and
buyers
to
be
able
to
measure
the
amount
of
risk
associated
with
a
and
the
maturity
of
a
project.
So,
as
you
move
to
the
right,
a
a
project
or
a
technology
becomes
more
mature
and
is
therefore
ready
for
kind
of
larger
industry
adoption
so
yeah.
So
there's
some
great
stuff
coming
out.
Those
are
fantastic
tools
for
demand.
Generation
that
y'all
can
use
cool
thanks.
Katie.
Do
you
want
to
move?
Thank
you.
H
Awesome,
yeah,
so
I
wanted
to
highlight
two
two
things
on
this
slide.
One
is
is
that
first,
is
the
blog
done
by
Devin.
In
that
blog,
he
kind.
He
mentions
a
great
quote
in
there
and
it's
product
team,
so
I
scrutinize,
where
and
how
they
accept
complexity
into
their
Stacks
in
a
strategic
sense
to
answer
is
only
where
they
actually
need
to
deliver
unique
business
value
and
that's
fantastic.
H
Devin
and
I
had
a
great
conversation
with
us
at
kubecon
Amsterdam,
and
it's
really
important
for
the
marketing
committee
and
in
general
to
really
understand
what
these
key
influencers
and
what
these
researchers
are
telling
their
clients
to
use
as
a
North
star.
H
So
as
we
abstract
away
from
kubernetes
and
as
we
abstract
away
from
some
of
these
Technologies.
Where
is
it
worth
having
that
complexity
and
that's
the
north
star
that
he's
telling
his
clients?
So
it's
great
to
align
to
that?
H
The
second
thing
I
wanted
to
highlight
was
the
market
guide
for
service
mesh
Market
guides
are
really
big
reports
within
Gartner,
and
a
lot
of
there
are
several
of
cncf
members
were
mentioned
in
that
report.
So
I
just
wanted
to
give
it
a
highlight
and
congratulate
everyone
who
got
mentioned
I'll
hop
over
to
the
next
slide.
Thanks
yeah,
a
few
more
highlights
here,
but
in
particular
the
one
I
wanted
to
highlight
on
this
slide
was
was
why
open
source
matters?
H
It's
a
Blog
that
I'd
encourage
everyone
on
this
call
to
go
out
and
and
read
essentially
Steve
O'grady
who's.
A
great
analyst
over
at
Red
monk,
discusses
the
importance
of
the
definition
of
Open
Source
and
preventing
the
degradation
of
open
of
Open
Source
over
time
and
how,
by
preserving
the
open
source
and
the
Integrity
of
the
term
open
source
within
marketing,
you
actually
preserve
the
entire
ecosystem.
H
At
the
same
time,
and
this
has
been
getting
some
coverage
and
some
there's
been
some
great
discourse
on
LinkedIn
Mark,
O'neal
who's,
the
chief
of
research
on
software
engineering
at
over
at
Gartner,
was
also
commenting
on
it
and
a
few
other
analysts
over
on
LinkedIn.
So
that's
a
great
piece
of
research
that
I'd
encourage
you
to
read
it's
open
to
the
public
and
just
some
really
interesting
discourse
around
open
source.
A
Great,
thank
you
so
much
Katie
and
Carl
for
the
updates
on
PR
and
AR
always
interesting
to
see.
What's
going
on
over
there
I'll
pause.
If
there's
any
questions
for
Carl
and
Katie
before
we
move
on
all
right,
quiet
group
today
we'll
go
ahead
and
move
into
the
content.
Marketing
updates
and
I
will
kick
it
over
to
Libby
to
talk
about
online
programs,
hey
Libby,
hey.
B
For
all
of
us,
in
the
US
and
looking
forward
to
some
cooler
weather
all
right
in
July,
we
had
three
live
streams:
an
average
of
92
viewers
per
session,
which
is
the
combination
between
LinkedIn
and
YouTube
live.
Oh
thank
you
Christy!
B
You
can
see
by
the
total
watch
minutes
and
Views
that
these
are
still
doing
really
really
well
so
continue
to
book
them.
We
have
added
more
shows
per
week,
so
continue
to
put
those
up:
six
on-demand
webinars,
still
getting
over
5
000
total
views
and
one
live
webinar
that
had
75
registrations
and
some
great
total
views
as
well,
so
continue
booking
those
reach
out
with
any
questions.
B
If
they're
not
dates
available,
just
let
me
know
and
we'll
either
get
you
on
a
wait
list
or
figure
something
out
all
right.
Next
and
Cube,
weekly
Cube
weekly
is
still
doing
well,
I've
added
a
little
graphic
because
I
realized
month
to
month.
No
one
including
me
remembers
if
the
open
rate
or
click
right
went
up
or
down
so
max
opens
this
month,
651
getting
some
good
clicks.
The
open
rate
was
down
slightly,
but
the
click
rate
once
opened
was
up.
B
So
continue
sending
more
articles,
blog
posts
tweets
anything
you
want
to
share
with
us
in
Cube
weekly
and
we
will
continue
sending
those
over
to
the
editors
important
to
note
in
August.
We
are
publishing
this
week
and
then
on
the
25th,
so
just
bi-weekly
in
August,
since
it
is
a
little
bit
slower,
but
then
we'll
pick
back
up
in
September.
A
Great
thanks
so
much
Libby
all
right
and
we're
gonna
pass
it
back
to
Charlie
to
talk
about
some
fun
case
studies,
hey
Charlie,
hello,
again,.
C
So
yeah
end
user
case
studies.
In
the
last
month
we
published
two
one
from
de
facto
and
one
from
Bloomberg,
which
are
both
super
interesting
to
work
on.
So
thanks
so
much
folks
for
submitting
these
a
reminder
that
we
do
have
a
fantastic
service
where
you
can
submit
your
end
user
case
studies
for
sharing
on
the
cncf
website.
I
do
have
some
space
in
the
end
of
September.
So
if
you
would
like
to
get
a
case
study
published
before
kubecon
China
or
before
kubecon
North
America,
please
take
advantage
of
this
service.
C
The
link
is
on
this
side
to
GitHub
and
it's
all
very
easy
to
to
go
from
there
if
you're,
the
next
one
with
Christy,
yes
back
logs,
so
we
had
a
lot
of
last
month
and
a
huge
amount
of
this
was
driven
by
one
blog,
in
particular,
Cube
version
one
has
landed,
which
was
posted
on
July
11th,
and
you
can
see
a
huge
spike
in
readership
there.
Now,
as
Christy
did
mention
earlier,
we
know
you
love
transparency
into
metrics.
We
do
two
and
that's
why
we
have
the
cncf.io
analytics
available
for
you.
C
If
we
go
to
the
next
one,
please
Christy
and
just
a
heads
up
on
my
humans
of
cloud
native
last
month,
we
published
two
really
fantastic
features
on
Adriana
vallea
and
Nancy
Chowan,
who
are
doing
some
absolutely
amazing
things
in
the
cloud
native
Community
our
pipeline.
Unfortunately,
it
is
fully
booked
until
kubecon
North
America,
which
I
still
I,
can't
believe
how
quickly
folks
have
taken
to
this
program
and
the
wonderful
feedback
we've
been
receiving.
C
You
can
still
nominate
folks
if
you
would
like
them
to
be
interviewed
at
kubecon,
North
America.
Please
do
drop
me
a
line
or
a
slack
message.
Unfortunately,
we're
not
going
to
be
able
to
post
anything
new
until
after
that
point,
but
we're
very
happy
to
take
further
contributions.
C
I
think
that
is
it
from
me.
Christy.
A
D
Sorry
about
that
hi
everyone.
How
are
you
today
quick
update
on
kubernetes,
Community
Days,
we're
excited
that
we
have
19
completed
with
another
11
in
progress.
D
We
have
some
upcoming
cfps,
so
if
you're
interested
in
speaking
at
any
of
these
kcds
and
you're
local
to
the
area,
we
encourage
you
or
your
colleagues
to
submit
a
cfp
if
you're,
interested
and
you're
local
to
the
area
or
you're
going
to
be
in
the
area.
There's
some
upcoming
KCBS
that
have
some
great
content
that
we
absolutely
encourage
you
to
go
and
check
it
out
and
support
those
communities
as
well
as
supporting
them
through
sponsorships.
D
And
then
a
quick
update
on
Community
groups,
we
have
several
meetups
that
are
happening
this
month,
specifically
in
the
Tomorrow.
There's
there's
two
happening
as
well
as
going
into
September
we're
seeing
a
lot
of
growth
within
our
Meetup
Community.
D
So
if
you're
interested
in
catching
a
local
Meetup
that
has
some
specialty
content
or
if
you're
looking
to
participate
in
one
of
your
local
meetups,
we
encourage
you
to
go
to
community.cncf.io
and
and
participate
that
way
and
then
a
quick
note,
because
I
didn't
put
it
in
my
slide.
So
I
apologize
about
that.
But
the
ambassador
program
is
now
open.
Accepting
fall
applications,
I'll
drop
the
link
in
the
chat
if
you're
interested
or
you
know
anyone
within
your
company-
that's
interested
in
becoming
an
ambassador.
A
Awesome,
thank
you
so
much
Katie
I
know
I
feel
like
that
deadline.
Snuck
up
on
me
as
well.
I'm,
like
oh,
my
gosh
yeah.
Investors
are
open
too
thanks
for
dropping
that
I'll
pause
for
any
questions
for
Katie
before
we
move
on
all
right
and
now
we'll
get
to
some
event.
Updates
I
know
Vanessa's
on
vacation
this
week,
so
I
will
run
through
her
updates,
but
anyone
from
the
events
team,
if
you
want
to
chime
in
while
I'm
running
through
them,
feel
free.
A
A
The
sponsorship
deadline
is
coming
up
on
August
16th,
so
last
chance
to
do
that
and
then
the
early
bird
registration
is
open
until
September
6th,
so
still
a
great
great
opportunity
to
save
there.
When
you
register
and
the
schedule
is
live
so
hope
to
see
you
there
for
grpc
conference
Switching
gears.
We've
got
a
couple
Cube
days
coming
up
in
in
the
December
month
here
or
this
year.
We've
got
cube
day,
India
coming
up
on
December
8th
and
we
have
Cube
day
Singapore
happening
on
December
12th.
A
Super
exciting
there
are
some
sponsor
deadlines
in
here.
Looks
like
November.
3Rd
you'll
also
be
getting
an
email
today
with
more
information
about
these
sponsorship
opportunities
and
other
details
through
the
marketing
committee
Alias.
So
if
you
need
to
forward
that
to
your
team,
I'll
be
on
the
lookout
for
that
should
be
going
out
this
morning
and
then
the
cfp
is
open
for
both
of
these
closing
on
September
18th,
so
well,
some
opportunities
to
submit,
which
is
really
exciting.
A
Of
course,
we've
got
kubecon
China
coming
up
here.
I
can't
believe
it
in
a
little
over
a
month
happening
at
the
end
of
September.
A
There
are
some
sponsorship
deadlines,
there's
a
last
chance
to
sponsor
happening,
August
11th.
So
that's
just
in
a
couple
days.
You
still
got
time
to
get
your
sponsorship
in
also
early
bird
registration
is
open
until
today,
so
another
great
opportunity
to
save
some
money
as
you're
registering.
For
this
event,
hotel
accommodations
are
coming
and
then
also
just
a
reminder
that
istiocon
will
be
co-locating.
With
this
event,
there's
more
details
on
the
next
slide,
so
I'll
go
to
that
so
istiocon.
A
A
There
is
a
sponsor
sponsorship
perspectives,
we're
still
accepting
sponsors
through
August
25th,
so
you
still
have
got
some
time
there
and
and
the
schedule
will
be
coming
out
on
the
21st
of
August,
so
be
on
the
lookout
for
that
so
again,
lots
of
great
opportunities
to
sponsor
and
support
these
events
get
your
name
out
there,
as
well
as
support
the
community
lots
of
great
stuff
and
then
of
course,
as
we
all
know,
cubecon,
hopefully
you
know
capecon
Cloud,
nativecon,
North
America
happening
in
Chicago
on
November
6th
through
the
9th
I
really
accept
or
sorry
yeah.
A
Sixth,
through
the
ninth
a
main
conference
seventh,
through
the
ninth
happening
in
Chicago
again
that
sponsorship
deadline
last
chance
to
sponsor
ends
on
the
10th.
That's
this
week,
so
make
sure
you
get
those
in
mpos
close
on
August
17th.
Of
course,
if
you
have
any
questions
about
any
of
these
things,
you
can
reach
out
to
the
sponsor
Alias.
I'll
drop
that
in
in
our
chat,
but
the
cfp
has
closed.
A
We
had
a
record
number
of
submissions
and
the
schedule
will
be
coming
out
at
the
end
of
August,
so
it's
really
exciting.
A
Of
course,
it
wouldn't
be
a
q
con
without
co-located
events
that
happening
on
the
6th.
So
here's
there's
a
bunch
of
different
co-located
events
in
various
different
areas.
If
you're
new
to
this,
this
is
a
some
of
them
are
half
day.
Some
of
them
are
full
day.
Events
that
happen
the
day
before
the
conference
begins
a
really
great
opportunity
to
dive
into
different
areas
of
technology
or
dive
into
a
project.
A
You
can
still
sponsor
these
co-located
events,
it's
a
great
opportunity
that
closes
on
September,
20th
and
then
the
schedule
for
these
will
come
out
on
September
11th.
So
just
a
heads
up
on
that.
This
is
the
second
page
of
co-located
events,
again
same
deadlines
for
sponsorship
and
schedule,
but
I
just
wanted
to
make
you
all
aware
of
that.
A
When
will
speakers
be
notified
for
kubecon
n,
a
I
believe
that
would
be
the
week
before
the
schedule
is
announced,
Gina
I'm
pretty
sure
so
be
on
the
lookout
for
probably
end
of
August
that'll
be
yeah,
and
then
you
probably
saw
an
email
come
through
yesterday
from
Katie
about
the
project
opportunities
for
kubecon
n,
a
as
far
as
giving
project
updates
in
the
Keynotes
I
know.
A
Katie
you've
covered
this
a
couple
times
in
the
call,
and
it
was
in
your
email
as
well,
but
just
to
note
that
these
are
due
on
August
10th,
so
last
chance
to
submit
here.
If
you
have
any
questions,
feel
free
to
reach
out
to
the
team,
and
then
there
are
some
other
additional
details
about
working
sessions
and
in
project
in
person,
project
kiosks
that
you
can
find
these
are
great
slides
or
that
email
that
Katie
sent
to
forward
onto
your
people
who
are
working
on
projects.
A
Your
engineering
team
just
want
to
make
sure
that
all
the
bases
are
covered
there.
So
if
you
have
any
questions
about
that
feel
free
to
reach
out
to
Katie
and
yeah
I,
think
that
covers
it
through
our
event.
Updates
I
know
that
was
fast
and
furious.
I'll
pause
for
just
a
second.
If
there's
any
questions
around
that.
A
A
We
will
have
additional
updates
on
training
in
the
next
meeting
and
with
that
that
takes
us
through
our
agenda
today,
just
a
friendly
reminder
that
we've
got
our
marketing
committee
links
in
the
back
here
for
how
you
can
find
these
slides
as
well
as
the
recording
again,
it
does
take
about
24
hours
for
us
to
get
this
recording
up
and
then
our
of
course
our
member
Acquisitions
is
back
here
as
well,
if
you're
curious
or
if
we
missed
anything,
let
us
know,
and
then
we've
also
got
the
member
resource
slide,
as
I
mentioned
before,
it's
got
the
welcome
deck
different
links
on
our
Toc
and
sigs
working
groups,
as
well
as
your
job
work
code
if
you're
hiring
and
want
to
leverage
the
job
board.
A
You're
welcome
to
do
that
there
all
right
well
that
takes
us
through
another
month
of
updates,
I'll
just
pause
really
quickly.
If
anybody
has
any
last
minute
questions
I'm
just
going
to
check
the
chat.
Oh
thanks
Tina
for
responding
on
that
cfp
question
or
notifications
all
right
well
with
that
we'll
give
folks
some
time
back.
Hopefully,
everybody
stays
cool
enjoys
the
last
bit
of
Summer
and
we
will
reconnect
again
in
September
thanks.
Everybody
have
a
great
day
bye
thanks.
