Description
CNCF Network Service Mesh Meeting 2020-03-10
A
A
Okay,
yes,
I
can
definitely
run
the
meeting
cool,
so
I'm
gonna
drop
down,
so
I
can
get
some
get
over
to
sleep.
Yeah
cool
dude,
take
care
of
yourself
I
appreciate.
Thank
you
awesome,
so
remoter.
Folks,
the
meetings
are
recorded.
They
will
be
posted
to
YouTube.
Subsequently,
you
can
go
ahead
and
add
yourself
to
the.
A
A
A
So
we
do
have
this
meeting
every
Tuesday.
In
addition
to
this
meeting,
every
Tuesday
and
the
one
the
half
hour
before
we
go
over
issues
in
PRS,
there's
also
the
you
can
find
those
that
the
network
service
mesh
community
link
there's
also
the
CN
CF
talk
on
users,
group
that
happens
the
first
and
third
Mondays
and
the
CN
CF
sig
network,
which
is
currently
being
rebooted,
and
it
meets
the
first
and
third
Thursday
of
every
month
at
11:00
a.m.
A
Then
major
events,
major
events,
have,
as
you
might
imagine,
taking
a
bit
of
a
hit
in
the
last
week
or
so
so
cute
calm,
cognitive,
con
Europe
has
been
postponed
into
the
July
August
timeframe.
As
a
result,
the
NSM
con
at
cube
con
tu,
has
also
been
postponed
into
that
same
time
frame.
So
our
plan
is
to
essentially
follow
the
lead
of
the
CN
CF
on
this
matter.
So
I
do
expect
that
you
know
barring
protracted
issues.
A
A
That
matches
my
understanding,
but
occasionally
I
miss
things
and
I've
been
traveling
the
last
week
and
so
that
I
really
really
miss
things
cool
so
like.
Why
is
the
Open,
Networking
and
edge
summit
has
also
been
postponed,
I
believe
till
sometime
in
the
fall,
so
that
you
know
get
more
information
to
you
as
we
get
it
cube
con
cloud
native
conch
ina
has
been
permanently
cancelled,
not
partly,
but
this
year
it's
been
cancelled.
It's
not
being
rescheduled
open
that
we're
good
summits,
Europe.
A
Cool
so
announcements,
as
I
mentioned
before
we
meet
the
half-hour
before
this.
She
just
walked
through
the
issues
in
PRS
and
that's
on
the
NSF
project
page.
So
you
can
follow
that
link
and
see
the
things
that
are
being
tracked
in
the
community
and
that'll.
Give
you
sort
of
a
decent
idea
of
what's
going
on.
A
C
C
We've
followed
in
additional
eight
counts
and
had
a
total
of
50
tweets
and
retweets,
obviously,
with
all
of
the
cancellations
and
postponing
of
some
of
the
major
events
coming
up,
I
think
that
has
had
a
little
bit
toll
on
our
traffic,
but
as
far
as
stuff
that
has
been
promoted
in
SM
on
obviously
the
postponement
of
that
and
prior
to
that,
I'm
just
trying
to
get
the
sponsorships
and
registrations
up.
However,
that
is
no
longer
applicable
until
we
have
some
further
updates
on
when
that
will
be
rescheduled
to
outside.
C
Of
that,
we've
had
some
regular
call
reminders.
Video
recaps
from
previous
meetings,
general
CN,
CF
weekly
webinars,
were
promoting
CN
CF
news
related
to
the
CNF
test
bed,
some
CN
CF
projects
and
a
couple
blogs,
as
well
as
the
2019
CN
CF
survey,
which
had
a
nice
write-up
about
service
mass
service,
mocchi
usage
and
organizations.
C
Obviously,
getting
some
information
out
there
about
the
postponement
of
omes
as
well,
unfortunately,
and
then
some
general
retweets
about
open
source,
mostly
a
good
visual
from
Julia
Evans,
about
container
networking
networks,
service,
mesh,
a
big
step
towards
cloud
native
nfe
and
anything
a
good
post
over
there
as
well
and
then,
as
far
as
LinkedIn,
also
a
little
bit
slower
these
last
two
weeks
with
gaining
five
followers
only
and
getting
the
same
original
content,
tweeted
promoted
there
as
we
have
in
Twitter.
So
the
plan
moving
forward
has
shifted
slightly
with
the
change
in
events
coming
up.
C
A
We
have
been
a
little
bit
late
on
today's
agenda.
I
know
that
there's
lots
of
things
happening
in
the
background.
You
know.
We've
talked
about
some
of
those
in
the
issues
of
the
PR
meeting
earlier
we're
getting
very
close
to
landing
a
four-door
commit
committed
to
repo
having
something
executable
there
so
and
I
wanted
to
sort
of
throw
the
agenda
open
and
see
what
folks
wanted
to
discuss
here.
A
B
So
go
14,
which
appeared
to
have
some
140
actually
go
114,
which
appeared
to
have
some
impact
on
the
on
the
building
infrastructure
examples,
and
that
was
a
small
one,
but
the
bigger
one
was
upgraded.
The
examples
to
use
the
latest
release
VPP
301
well
I'm,
with
with
the
main
rapport
with
the
core
any
same
comprehends,
which
was
so
more
or
less
multi
mean
I,
was
just
following
our
PR
in
the
upstream.
B
A
Of
the
things
that
I'm
most
excited
about
about,
the
the
301
way
is
that
it's
now
using
there
was
an
update
to
the
ERP
C
protobuf
generation
stuff
such
that
you.
It
causes
the
new
client
code
instead
of
taking
a
G
RPC
by
applying
connection
as
an
argument
and
that's
a
struct,
it
will
now
take
AG,
RPC
client
connection
interface
as
an
argument,
which
is
an
interface
which
means
that
in
principle,
it
is
now
possible
to
mock
all
the
things
so
that
that's
that's
exciting.
Oh.
B
A
D
A
One
thought
and
looking
at
the
stuff
that
I'm
working
on
for
the
command,
four-door
piece
I,
one
of
the
things
I'm
looking
at,
is
how
to
test
it
and
so
I'm.
Considering,
basically,
if
you
run
forward
or
it
will
run
the
the
daemon,
if
you
run
forward
or
space
test,
it
will
run
tests
against
the
daemon.
So
we
can
build
a
single
container
and
then
we
could
actually
test
the
container
in
place.
