From YouTube: Ortelius Outreach - July 3rd 2023
Description
The Ortelius outreach team wraps up for the summer. KubeCon, CDF Workshop and Hactoberfest are topics of discussion.
A
A
Outreach
meeting
or
Julius
Outreach
meeting
this
should
be
our
last
meeting
before
our
August
break,
since
this
is
brother's
doing
one
meeting
in
July-
and
this
is
the
third
so
we're
gonna
have
some
time
off.
Like
eight
weeks
almost
getting
back
into
September.
The
things
to
think
about
will
be
Oktoberfest.
Steve
has
worn
the
shirt
to
remind
us
all
actually
I
had
my
hector
refreshered
on
Two
And
I
went
and
changed.
A
So
we
wouldn't
look
alike,
but
anyway,
I
should
change
my
that.
That
is
what
we
are
focused
on
between
now
and
then
and
I.
Think
the
only
other
things
that
we
really
need
to
chat
about
would
be
any
social
posts
that
we
need
to
do
if
anybody
has
any
interest
in
writing
a
Blog
through
the
summer
or
Sasha.
If
you
have
any
thoughts
on
guac
and
what
you
guys
are
doing
there,
if
there's
anything
that
we
could
do
during
the
summer
on
that.
C
And
I'm
gonna
be
so
on.
Friday
I
figured
out
the
the
front
end
framework
that
we'll
use-
and
this
is
recommended
to
by
I,
can't
think
of
his
name
now,
but
we're
going
to
use
felt
Joseph
sorry
Joseph's
over
in
Ghana,
so
he
recommended
that
we
take
a
look
at
svelte.
I
dropped,
the
link
in
chat
I
played
with
it
on
Friday,
Thursday
and
Friday,
and
it's
a
component
driven
front
end.
C
So
basically
you
create
Snippets
of
code,
and
that
ends
up
being
your
how
you
pull
together
the
front
end.
So
I
thought
riotjs
was
going
to
work
and
when
I
got
into
it
further,
they
did
not
have
the
libraries
weren't
well-rounded
put
it
that
way.
There
are
a
bunch
missing
now:
svel
will
interact
with
a
Google
project
called
material
UI,
so
I
dropped.
The
link
in
for
the
tutorials
first
felt
for
people
to
take
a
look
at
it
and
kind
of
go
from
there.
C
So,
what's
going
to
happen,
is
I'm
going
to
work
on
updating
all
the
issues
for
the
back
end
pieces.
They
have.
We
have
the
issues
out
there
to
sign
the
bounties
and
again
we're
going
to
be
all
in
goaling
and
I'm
going
to
build
out
the
front
end
side
issues.
We
have
a
couple
out
there,
but
I
have
to
assign
bounties
and
I'm
gonna
work
with
David
from
who's
in
San
Francisco
to
get
things
rolling
on
on
that
front.
B
C
We'll
definitely
be
once
I
get
it's
something
minor,
something
like
the
version
tag
or
something
like
that.
Isn't
an
updated,
updated
correctly,
but
we'll
definitely
be
doing
artillius
11
in
a
box
for
the
development.
B
B
C
Oh
and
then
I
did
look.
I
did
look
in
the
backup
yeah
it
is.
It
has
like
a
a
templating,
that's
character,
they
talk.
What
was
it
it's
a
cross
between
the
like?
C
You
know
so
it's
not
as
quite
complicated
as
react.
Yeah.
E
A
You're
breaking
up
or
is
Sasha
pointed
out.
It
sounds
like
you're
skydiving.
B
C
Tracy,
did
you
have
anything?
I
can
HootSuite
that
you
needed
to
cover
time.
A
With
Simon
arvind,
but
I'm
not
going
to
do
it
until
September,
I've
I'm
continuing
to
keep
hoop
sweet,
updated,
I've,
I've
got
stuff.
I
have
a
lot
of
things
that
I
have
booked
out
through
the
course
of
this
next
two
months,
so
it
would
be
great
if
we
could
I
could
get
more
technical
blogs
out
there.
You
know
things
that
are
need
to
be
would
be
interesting
to
share
with
other
people
just
about
technology
in
general.
A
I
think
that's
a
good
place
to
be
sure
we're
trying
not
to
be
always
self-serving.
When
blogging
about
what
other
blogs
we
see
that
we
like
that's
one
area
that
I
need
I,
continue
to
need,
help
with
and
so
Arvin.
That
would
be
something
that
I
I
could
look
to
you
and
sign
to
do.
C
Cool,
oh
the
CDF,
Toc
members,
it
looks
like
I
saw
an
email
come
through
over
the
weekend.
It
looks
like
Andrea
and
Brad
are
no
longer
on
the
TOC.
C
That's
sad
thanks
for
our
past
past
contributors,
I,
that
was.
C
But
I
well,
I
I,
don't
know
it.
It
comes
through
on
that
weird
groups,
email
server,
so
I,
never
know
how
accurate
it
is
because
it
like
repeats
the
same
message
over
and
over
sometimes
like
when
something
replies
to
something
you
get
the
whole
email
chain.
It's
kind
of
annoying.
A
C
So
we
must
have
lost
Brad,
then
on
it
on
the
TOC.
C
C
B
A
So
Brad
I
don't
know
what
Brad
I
wonder
what
Brad
was
representing
before.
C
I
I,
don't
know,
that's
why
I
get
a.
Let
me
look
at
my
Gmail
real
quick
see
if
I
can
find
it
anyway.
So
speaking
of
CD
events,
I
did
looking
for
our
into
the
back
end
side
of
things
that
including
basically
I
looked
at
whether
we
could
use
cloud
events
for
as
a
replacement
for
our
rest
API.
So
we
just
have
rest
stuff,
but
it'd
be
all
in
the
cloud
event.
Format.
C
I,
don't
think
it's
going
to
buy
us
anything,
because
when
you
look
at
the
CD
events
they
do
like
they,
they
typically
have
three
events.
They
have
like
a
cute
event.
They
have
a
starting
event
and
they
have
a
finished
event.
C
C
Yeah,
it
looks
like
so
there's
like
a
base
and
then
there
is
a
so
it
looks
like
there's
a
base,
dev
kit,
and
then
there
is
going
to
be
the
add-on,
which
is
the
cell
kit
and
then
the
the
spell
kit
you'll
see
also
there's
another
one.
That's
kind
of
aligned
with
that
and
that's
going
to
be
the
material
AI.
C
C
So
this
is
where
I
saw
outgoing
members,
so
this
is
for
sure
the
governing
board
then.
C
C
A
B
B
C
A
C
Don't
because
of
their
term
limits,
okay,.
E
E
C
That's
exactly
the
the
material
UI
that
I
was
talking
about
so
and
they
have
some
place.
Nice
nicely
done
nicely
professional,
laid
out
objects
and
stuff,
so
it'll
all
be
consistent,
not
like
you
know
like
with,
with
like
a
jQuery
UI.
C
You
get
some
components
made
by
one
person,
another
component
made
by
another
person,
and
they
may
not
stylistically
all
look
the
same.
You
know,
but
they
have
the
the
functionality
it
needs.
So
you
you
mix
them
together,
and
you
get
this
weird
looking
with
the
material
UI,
they
spent
a
lot
of
time
and
being
consistent.
C
Oh,
that's
the
other
cool
thing.
Is
it
does
server
side
svelt?
Does
this
server
side,
rendering
so
it'll
actually
on
the
server
side,
it'll
actually
generate
your
HTML
on
the
fly
with
everything
all
together
and
all
your
JavaScript
kind
of
like
optimized,
so
when
it
gets
pushed
over
to
the
the
browser
side,
it's
really
fast.
A
Sasha.
You
want
to
run
for
this.
C
C
B
B
A
D
A
B
B
C
C
E
C
E
C
Yeah
so
she's
on
Discord,
so
it's
Taylor
e
is
her
handle
I.
Think
so
you
could
just
drop
her
a
note.
Arvin.
B
B
A
B
D
D
C
D
C
Yeah
did
we
get
the
the
video
produced
yet.
D
C
Okay,
because
I
want
to
add
that
to
our
playlist
on
our
artillius
YouTube
channel.
C
Y'all
have
to
see
what
we
have
if
we
have
something
close.
C
Because
I
I
converted
the
slides
into
a
PDF
and
I
shared
those
with
to
a
few
people
that
were
on
on
the
session
and
then
also
I
sent
the
PDF
to
Michelle
I
think
it
was
Michelle,
no
Roxanne,
sorry
I
work
with
too
many
people
at
the
Linux
foundation.
So
yes,.
D
D
I,
believe
is,
is
on
the
website
on
the
city
Foundation
website,
where
the
link
to
the
slide,
so
they
actually
updated
the
YouTube
link
and
all
things
in
there.
Now
we
need
to
add
this
into
the
otilious
website
as
well.
That's
very
important
I
can
make
use
of
chat
GPT
to
draw
some
initial
sketches
and
then
I
share
with
you.
So
you
can
actually
add
more
more
of
that.
C
Yep,
it
would
be
it'd
be
interesting
if
you
could
do
the
take
the
transcript
from
the
YouTube
and
send
it
through
chat,
GT
chat
and.
A
C
A
D
C
You
know
if
we
well
with
the
new
version,
you
could
almost
kind
of
consider
us
to
be
multi-tenancy
because
of
the
the
ipfs
nft
storage
and
the
blockchain
kind
of
puts
us
into
the
multi-tennessee
world.
But
it's
not
your
traditional
multi-tenancy
saying
I
run.
You
know,
part
on
AWS
part
on
my
in-house
open
shift
and
another
part
on
you
know
desktops
running
inside
of
a
company,
so
we're
not
the
traditional
multi-tenancy
like
that.
D
D
C
Yeah
we
may
want
to
Ping
Brad
about
that
as
well,
and
just
let
them
know
that
they
have
that
there's
a
call
for
papers
on
that
front.
He
may
not
be
aware
of
those.
C
She
just
picked
up
a
phone
call,
but
as
far
as
I
know
the
it's
pretty
quiet
from
everything
like
he
says.
Excuse
me
in
the
fall.
C
I,
don't
know
what's
happening
on
the
open
ssf
front
because
they
are
struggling
with
getting
organized
around
the
Outreach,
because
it's
being
micromanaged
really
heavily
so
they're
trying
to
figure
out
because
somebody
people
are
submitting
blogs
and
they
have
like
15
20
people
are
reviewing
a
single
blog
and
then
they
it.
Basically
they
reject
it.
Because
people
don't
like
the
topic
for
some
reason
for
a
Blog,
but
a
Blog
should
be
open
and
just
you
know,
ideas.
C
So
the
the
open,
ssf
I
think
the
who
is
it.
Is
it
Omar
I
can't
remember.
No,
the
new
GM
for
the
open
ssf
is
working
through
getting
some
stuff
streamlined,
so
things
aren't
quite
as
micromanaged
yeah.
C
Yes,
I
well,
I,
don't
know
what
what
they
do
for
outreach.
I
know
talk
to
Sergio
and
ask
Sergio
what
they
have
going
on
for
for
us
getting
more
publicity
inside
of
red
hat.
D
C
Yeah
Andrew's
really
hard
to
get
a
hold
of
just
because
he's
flying
around
the
world
so
much,
but
the
other
one
would
be
Anne-Marie
and.
D
C
D
A
E
B
B
B
A
C
Interesting
yeah,
so
we
get
the
in
the
afternoon.
The
heat
from
up
North
will
suck
in
the
moisture
and
then
we'll
get
rains
for
like
an
hour
half
hour.
It's
not
like
the
downpours
it's,
but
it
is
rain
for
us
and
that's
just
starting
our
monsoons.
D
In
our
country
there's
a
lot
of
the
mountaineering,
it's
there
so
I'm
very
close
to
the
mountains
whenever
there's
crosses
40
or
41
the
next
few
hours,
the
next
few
days,
the
rain
popping
up
and
that's
advantages
of
the
mountains
other
than
that
it's
a
very
difficult
to
in
4138
is
a
cruel
weather.
That's.
