From YouTube: May 18th, 2021 Ortelius Community Meeting
Description
A review of the May 20th Ortelius Microservice Visionaries event and the new blog casting program are topics of this community meeting.
A
C
And
I
said
my
wrap
up
one
to
do,
but
I
would
get
that
done
beforehand.
D
A
On
this
machine,
so
I
don't
think
there's
anything
to
discuss
on
that.
We
just
hope
everybody
attends
and
we'll
have
a
fun
time.
You
know
some
of
these.
Ever
there
were
some
of
us
who
did
presentations,
who
have
never
done
them
before
we
have.
You
know
like
bimi
and
mooney
are
being
hosted
by
a
tool.
You
know
somebody
from
india
hosting
two
women
from
nigeria.
It's
you
know.
We
have
sasha
and
karam.
A
You
know
who
have
built
a
friendship
between
pakistan
and
cape
town.
So
it's
pretty
cool.
That's
the
part
of
open
source
that
I
love
and
I
love
seeing
like
adidas
adida.
You
did
a
fabulous
job.
She
did
an
amazing
job
of
her
presentation,
talking
about
domain
driven
design
and
a
microservice
architecture.
It
was
a
lot
to
learn
so
good
job.
Everybody
did
an
awesome
job
though
I
just
have
to
because
I've
seen
them
all
and
edited
them
all.
So
I
know
exactly
what
they
look
like
and
everybody
did
great.
So,
thank
you
steve.
C
Yep,
so
the
I
had
a
reoccurring
invite
out
there
for
the
monday
stand
up
just
need
to
find
out
if
that
was
worthwhile
doing
for
everybody,
and
if
so,
I
will
get
it
back
on
the
books,
and
so
people
can
join
in
on
that.
So
just
want
to
get
some
feedback
on
that
front.
Real,
quick.
C
E
F
C
You
know
that
type
of
thing,
maybe
closer
to
maybe
I'm
trying
to
think
of
friday
if
friday
would
work
or
not,
would
that
be
too
close
for
people's.
C
All
right,
so
what
we'll
do
is
I'll,
just
a
we'll
just
do
it
more
on
demand
and
I
will
just
reach
out
to
people
on
discord,
checking
in
on
on
them
and
see
if
they
need
anything.
If
we
have
any
blockers
so
we'll
try
that
for
another
week
or
so
on
through
discord.
C
Yeah,
let
me
check
on
that,
because
I
know
we
have
there's
a
bunch
of
trello
boards
and
stuff
like
that
that
we
we
have
one
for
the
the
project
itself
and
then
there's
another
one
for
that.
Siddharth
uses
it's
a
little
more
general
at
a
higher
level.
E
My
day
job
one
of
the
things
that
they
do
that's
a
little
bit
unique
for
me-
is
that
they're
doing
virtual
stand-ups
and
so
there's
a
slack
room.
Obviously
we
would
use
discord
instead,
but
you
know
you
just
have
a
room,
and
you
know
at
certain
designated
times
during
the
week
people
post,
whatever
their
update,
is
you
know
this
is
what
I
did.
This
is
what
I'm
working
on.
E
This
is
what
my
blockers
are,
and
you
know
we
might
follow
that
up
by
like
a
half
an
hour
meeting,
but
the
expectation
is
that
people
have
read
the
stuff.
That's
in
the
chat,
channel
and
they're
asking
questions
based
on
that.
So
it's
not
people
taking
the
time
of
the
meeting
to
present
that
same
information.
C
That's
a
good
idea.
We
could
probably
just
stand
up
a
new
channel
just
for
stand
up
on
discord
and
we,
like
you,
said,
put
in
there
specific
things
around
blockers
and
and
dependencies
and
things
like
that
and
where
you're
at.
Let
me
let
me
work
on
that.
I'll
stand
up
a
new
channel
which
will
be
separate
from
the
dev
channel,
where
we
can
have
pure
dev
conversations
about
random
links
that
sasha's
found
in
the
in
the
world.
C
I
love
them,
but
I
will
set
up
a
a
separate
stand-up
channel.
I
like
that
idea,
christopher.
E
C
Will
do
and
I'll
I'll
kind
of
prime
the
pump
on
it?
So
people
know
what
to
put
in
that
channel.
C
So
that's
kind
of
where
we're
at
on
the
stand-ups
coding-wise
we're
moving
along
pretty
good
mooney
and
beamy
are
gonna.
Stick
around
so
they're
going
to
continue
working
on
their
microservices
and
we'll
be
reaching
out
to
do
additional
things
as
well.
C
So
that's
gonna
just
keep
a
heads
up
that
they're
gonna
be
out
there
doing
work
as
well.
C
Yeah
what
it
it
ended
up
being
a
a
lot
more
political
inside
of
the
linux
foundation
than
I
was
expecting
and
the
the
competit.
I
don't
know
if
competition
is
the
right
word,
but
the
I
would
say
more
of
an
overreach
of
some
of
the
more
established
projects
and
what
they
thought
a
candidate
should
be
is
definitely
not
lining
up
with
my
vision
of
what
how
we
should
be
helping
university
students.
C
F
F
With
that
student,
like
what
applied.
C
Yeah
and
we
have
to
wait
until
the
announcements
go
formal
and
then
I
think
that's
going
to
be
either
yeah.
C
It's
happening
within
the
next
couple
days,
once
once
we
once
they
announce
everything,
then
we
can
do
whatever
we
want
on
our
own.
F
F
A
So
then
we
should
be
able
to
move
forward
and
tracy
miranda's
going
to
look
to
see
if
the
linux
foundation
has
an
internship
program
that
they
could
use
to
bring
him
on
for
us,
because
I
did
complain
to
her
separately
in
a
quiet,
email
about.
You
know
the
diversity
issue
and
somebody
from
morocco
may
not
have
the
kind
of
advisors
that
would
put
together
a
competitive
proposal,
and
apparently
you
could
you
didn't
just
apply.
A
C
Like
a
phd
thesis,
yeah
so
you're,
basically
it's
the
it
was
more
like
treating
this
as
a
phd
doctorate
type
of
project.
C
That's
gonna,
go
on
for
six
months
to
you
know,
six
to
eight
months
versus
where
the
person
is
going
to
actually
come
up
with
an
idea,
a
new
product,
a
new
feature
to
something
scope.
It
all
out,
do
all
the
project
planning
and
then
code.
It
all.
A
Do
better
outreach
and
try
to
do
outreach
to
people
who,
if
we
can
reach
out
to
the
people
who
want
to
participate
as
interns
and
make
sure
that
they
can
reach
out
back
to
us
for
us
to
help
them
put
together
that
proposal
and
I'm
gonna,
I'm
gonna,
see
if
I
can
get
my
hands
on
a
proposal
and
then
post
that
as
a
blog.
So
this
is
what
it
needs
to
look
like.
This
is
a
successful
proposal,
so
people
who
are
applying
know
what
they
need
to
do
to
be
successful.
A
A
Well,
you
know
I,
if
I
I've,
got
to
find
out
from
oleg
how
he
was
able
to
get.
You
know
that
many
people,
but
jenkins,
is
such
a
big
project
and
people
are
interested
in
it
and
probably
that's
how
he
he
got
those
he
got
five,
but
I
think
we
need
to
look
at
who
ended
up.
I
want
to
know
who
it
was
that
got
those
jobs
and
what
their
internships
application
looked
like.
A
How
complete
it
was.
So
we
make
sure
that
we're
more
successful
in
the
future.
On
a
happier
note,
we
have
hey
sergio.
You
want
to
take
like
the
next
like
five
minutes
and
show
twitch
we're
gonna
be
broadcasting
on
thursday
on
twitch
sergio
is
going
to
be
our
twitch
j.
I
guess
you
call
them
tj
a
tj.
A
B
Okay,
well,
I
think
I'm
gonna
travel,
because
I
need
to
log
in
again
I'm
I
pretty
much
start
today
in
the
morning
like
doing
a
totally.
B
Yeah
yeah,
please
I
I
mean
what
I
can
just
maybe
a
little
update,
I'm
working
like
having
a
totally
different
setup,
because
I
already
have
an
account
and
twitch
and
it's
it's
really
painful
like
doing
logout,
because
you
need
to
get
a
new
token
and
stuff
like
that,
so
to
get
into
the
hotels,
and
I
need
to
export
my
layouts
to
put
in
in
the
dams
for
artillery.
So
I'm
working
on
that
I
already
stuck
this
morning.
I'm
going
to
be
this
doing
this
for
the
three
more
days
and
the
last
day
before
the
day.
B
The
event
I
am
free,
so
I'm
going
to
I've,
been
working
for
resolve
all
the
things.
I
think
the
more
challenging
thing
is
having
a
decent
layout
and
then
the
the
audio
that
always
is
a
little
messed
up
to
to
be
sure
that
it's
working
okay
to
share.
Like
I
don't
know,
we
are
going
to
share
videos,
but
usually
the
channel
for
audio
in
the
in
the
studio
and
the
obs
studio
is
a
little
tricky.
B
So
I'm
going
to
be
working
on
that,
hopefully
have
a
dry
run
before
the
day,
even
to
be
sure
that
everything
is
going
to
be
working
well.
A
G
A
B
A
Enough
and
I'll
play
on
it
too,
between
now
and
thursday,
and
see
what
we
can
do
just
I'll
just
put
some
stuff
up
there
to
see
what
it's
going
to
look
like,
and
then
we
do
have
our
podcast
we
have
buzz
sprout
is
set
up,
not
sure
where
we
are
with
getting
our
first
podcast
scheduled
karam
sasha
anybody
that
was
an
update
on
possibly
that.
B
We
have
a
a
meeting
the
last
friday
with
please
come.
Let's
do
that,
yeah,
yeah
and
we'll
we
already
agreed
to
do
a
little
try
on
on
us,
so
we
just
want
to
jump
out
and
do
some
testing.
I
already
have
the
intention
to
do
it
that
with
same
and
such,
but
we
have
a.
B
We
agree
that
we
need
to
find
first,
first
of
all
find
the
people
we
are
going
to
check,
of
course,
inside
of
our
tillius,
so
who
is
going
to
be
volunteer
for
this.
B
Yeah
we
want
to
do
that,
so
we
to
do
like,
let's
see
inside
the
company-
maybe
someone
you
can
see
like
and
can
be
a
an
interesting
conversation
on
this
and
and
just
recommend
it
and
after
that,
having
the
people
we
are
going
to
set
the
the.
What
we
are
going
to
talk
about
is
based
on
what
the
people
we
are
going
to
invite
is
is
feel
comfortable
about
talking,
so
we're
going
to
do
that
before
we
are
just
going
to
probably
play
around
with
the
ortillius
team.
B
I
wanted
to
do
it
this
week,
but
I
I
just
want
to
be
focused
on
on
the
our
main
event
for
this
week.
So.
B
To
be,
we
are
going
to
do
this
experiment
next
week,
so
we
have
time,
like
I
don't
know
like
one
and
two
weeks
to
find
people.
So
maybe
that's
the
goal
for
everyone
here
to.
If
you
want
to
recommend
someone,
just
I
don't
know
how
probably
we
are.
We
agreed
to
use
a
trailer,
so
you
can,
I
don't
know,
reach
out
me
haram
anywhere
in
the
in
this
car
and
we'll
probably
create
a
trello
car
with
the
with
the
podcast,
and
we
will
be
filling
the
details
over
there.
A
So
what
I'll
do
in
the
as
well
so
it
looks
like
the
our
first
podcast
looks
like
controller
dude
where's,
my
microservice
with
steven
owen.
Let's
go
ahead
and
try
to
get
that
one.
I
I
was
gonna,
suggest
owen
b,
one
of
our
first
ones.
A
I
think
I
think,
having
stephen
owen
be,
have
that
discussion
would
be
fun,
so
I
will
reach
out
to
steve
and
owen
separately
and
see
if
there's
a
time
that
they
want
to
do
that,
but
we
can
also
put
together
I'll,
put
together
a
shared
doc
and
we
can
just
start
building
a
calendar
and
I'll
reach
out
to
my
network.
I
think
we
could
get
plenty
of
interesting
people
to
help
us
out
with
the
podcast.
A
B
Yeah
we
need
to
first
do
the
experiment
and
then
have
a
how
you
say
like
a
clear
schedule,
because
for
growing
this
we
were,
we
are
going
to
need
like
have
a
clear
schedule,
so
our
people
is
joining
today
to
the
podcast.
Can
now
that
I
don't
know
every
two
weeks
on
monday
they
are
going
to
have
a
new
release
of
some
podcasts,
so
the
people,
if
we
have,
we
are
consistent
on
that.
B
Probably
we
are
going
to
have
more
success,
so
we
need
just
to
take
care
about
what
is
like
when
we
are
going
to
roll,
or
we
are
going
to
be
rolling
out
this
and
doing
some
experiment
versus
starting,
like
officially
with
the
scheduling
and
stuff
like
that,
okay,
yeah.
A
All
right,
I
will
start
working
on
a
calendar
and
reach
out
to
you
know
I
think
I
know
marky
has
been
kind
of
taken
himself
out
of
the
open
source
community,
but
I'm
hoping
that
maybe
he
would
consider
doing
one
he
would
be
so
fun
to
have
on,
and
then
there
are
folks
from
the
projects.
A
I
think
I
could
reach
out
to
oleg.
Let's
have
oleg
do
a
podcast
with
us.
That
would
be
fun.
You
know
I'll
I'll
reach
out
to
some
of
the
folks.
At
the
governance
level
we
might
get
tracy
miranda
to
do
one
we
can
get.
A
We
can
even
reach
out
to
folks
like
the
folks
that
are
on
the
event
working
group.
I
could
potentially
reach
out
to
cornelia
davis
from
weave
work,
she's
the
cto.
I
have
a
pretty
good
network,
so
I
think
that
if
I
asked
them
they
would
do
it.
We
just
need
to
make
sure
we
have
a
really
clean
format
when
we
start
bringing
in
those
folks.
B
Yeah,
that's
the
thing
so
for
the
document
we
can
can
share
with
karama
siddhartha.
We
start
like
working
on
this
and
well
everyone
who
want
to
join,
but
I
siddharth
is
not
here.
So
I'm
not
sure
if
I'm
missing
something
quran,
I'm
missing
something
about
or
last
meeting.
F
No,
I
think
so,
like
you
mentioned,
like
a
fortnight
scheduled
for
the
podcast,
I
don't
know
some
shout
outs
without
mentioning
something
following
some
theme
pattern
and
for
experimental
purpose,
see
how
it
goes
out
and
definitely
the
guest.
A
A
Open
source
project
that
they're
looking
at
contributing
to
the
cdf
we
could
reach
out
from
somebody
there.
We
could
reach
out
to
some
folks
at
netflix
to
chat
about
their
microservice
environment,
so
I
think
we,
I
think
I
can
work
help
and
we
can
get
some.
Let
me
get
a
calendar
going.
I
think
that
we
should
probably
look
at
july,
though
being
a
first
one
to
bring
somebody
from
an
external
person.
B
Yeah,
I'm
thinking
I
have
one
one
main
kind
that
I
have
to
say.
That
is
a.
I
really
know:
people
a
man
inside
that
is
really
leading
the
the
open
chief
development
and
in
the
open
source
site
he
works.
I've
been
checking
that
he
was
working
with
the
operators
and
the
updates
on
helm.
So
lately
I've
been
seeing
him
like
posting
a
lot
about
the
the
the
commit
some
pull
requests
on
our
helm.
B
So
I
think
it's
going
to
be
fun
because
we
are
seeing
a
lot
of
dogs
and
helm
being
like
everywhere.
So
I'm
going
to
try
to
start
with
this
first.
A
And
then
the
other
thing
we
can
do
is
we
can
reach
out
to
our
broader
general
community
to
see
if
anybody
out
there
wants
to
do
a
podcast
and
that's
about
120
130
people
that
I
can
reach
out
to
see.
Who
would
like
to
be
to
participate
and
be
interviewed
so
we'll
I
think
con,
I
think
content
will
be,
it
will
be
challenging,
but
I
think
we've
got
enough.
I
think
we
have
enough
contacts
that
we
can
do
that.
E
B
That's
pretty
funny
out
of
the
jokes
we
were
talking
in
this
meeting
that
was
important
to
to
create
a
good
chemistry
between
the
people
who
are
going
to
do
the
post,
podcast
and
usually
yeah.
You
need
someone
really
charismatic,
because
the
podcast
we
don't
want
to
put
a
podcast
that
is
boring
or
conversation
yeah.
B
We
don't
want
to
the
people
drop
up
after
two
minutes.
So
yes,
I
think
an
important
thing
is
he
put
some
charisma
fun
over
there
being
like
a
friend,
talk
or
overall
friend
talk
over
talking
about,
or
technology
and
more
things,
but
yeah.
G
B
A
it's
a
crucial,
I
think,
in
character
characteristics
we
we
have
to
achieve
on
this
podcast
podcast.
So,
let's
create
it
yeah
we
need.
We
need
such
over
there
for
sure
and
well
we're.
C
G
C
I
have
the
control
of
the
recording,
just
a
quick
update
in
the
it's
afternoon,
4
30
mountain
time
on
thursdays.
When
we
have
the
architecture
meeting,
there
is
the
architecture
meeting
for
australia,
so
that
group
is
focused
on
git
ops
and
how
git
ops
are
going
to
fit
into
ortelius.
C
I
am
recording,
I
should
be
recording
those
I
missed
last
time
hitting
the
record
button,
but
that
will
be
something
that
will
get
posted
and
the
meeting
minutes
will
be
in
the
same
architecture,
meeting
minutes
that
we
use
in
the
the
morning
session.
So
I
believe
it
ends
up
being
like
8
30
a.m,
sydney
time.
C
So,
if
you're
interested
keep
a
heads
up
on
the
calendar
on
that
front,
so
what
we'll
do
is
we'll
eventually
have
them
I'll,
grab
the
information
and
bring
it
back
to
the
architecture
meeting
and
this
this.
This
meeting
celebrates
on
board
and
not
missing
out
anything.
But
if
you're
interested
in
that
topic,
keep
a
heads
up
for
that
from
australian
group.
