From YouTube: October 10, 2022 Ortelius Outreach Meeting
Description
Updates on the December Visionaires summit, XRP Ledger team and contributing to blogs is included in this meeting.
A
B
Might
have
some
other
people
joining
but
might
as
well
get
started.
This
is
the
October
10th
2022
Outreach
meeting,
so
we
have
a
few
things
that
are
in
the
works.
We
have
our
Oktoberfest
that
has
started
I,
don't
know
if
anybody's
gotten
any
pull
requests
done.
I
haven't
had
a
chance
to
work
on
it
yet
bond
to
you
in
the
next
couple
weeks
we
do
have
blogs
are
going
out,
so
anybody
wants
to
do
a
Blog.
B
C
Yeah
that
that
will
work
I
just
approved
a
pull
request
for
a
person
that
made
a
change
to
the
website.
A
B
B
Any
thoughts
on
how
to
do
our
Visionary
Summit
do
we
want
to
do
10-minute
lightning
talks.
Do
we
want
to
go
back
to
30
minute
talks?
I've,
we've
debated
the
record
or
not
record
and
I
think
we'll
go
ahead
and
continue
to
record
them,
because
that
makes
it
more
fair
for
the
folks
outside
the
time
zone
that
we
we
actually
hold
this
in
up
here,
for
them
to
be
up
at
three
in.
B
To
my
presentation,
but
we
could
make
it
at
Option,
but
I
think
we'll
just
have
everybody
just
record
them.
So
the
real
question
is:
what
should
we
do?
The
10
minute
talks
the
lightning
talks
or
do
regular
30-minute
presentations.
A
B
C
Yeah
I
think
a
mix
of
both
will
make
it.
You
know
where
we
have
a
few
longer
ones,
and
you
know
maybe
two
longer
ones
and
the
rest
are
the
10
minutes.
C
B
And
we
don't
have
Sasha
on,
but
I
do
want
to
confirm.
Arvin
I
know
you're,
okay
for
doing
our
makeup
for
the
CDF
online
Meetup.
Tomorrow,
I
haven't
heard
from
Sasha,
though.
C
Yeah
it's
getting
too
late.
If
what
we'll
do
what
time
is
it
tomorrow,.
C
C
Oh
I,
don't
invite
me
to
that
meeting
because
I
don't
have
it
on
my
calendar.
You.
C
Doesn't
show
up,
we
can
I
can
fill
in.
B
All
right
I'm
going
to
send
you
an
invite
on
the
Zoom,
so
you
have
hearing.
That's
it.
B
Presentations
that
we're
all
doing
everybody
probably
knows
by
now
we
devops
World
got
canceled,
so
I
was
not
stuck
in
Florida
yay.
B
They
will,
if
we
do,
that,
it's
supposed
to
be
done
in
December,
I
think
they're
going
to
do
a
virtual
event
in
December.
So
we
still
have
a
you
know.
We
should
have
something
going
on
the
Steve's
got.
What
was
it
called
All.
C
B
Open
November,
2nd
I
have
API
world
microservices
world
coming
up,
I
think
on
the
27th
of
October
there's
a
couple
of
other
things
that
are
smaller
events
that
are
happening.
B
All
things
open
is
November,
2nd,
devops,
Summit
Canada,
that's
led
by
garima,
bajpai
I'll
be
presenting
there
as
well,
and
then
I'll
be
presenting
it
all
day,
devops
on
November
10th
and
then
the
final
one
that
I
know
of
for
this
year
is
devops
experience
that
I'll
be
presenting
at
as
well
so
ortillas
will
be
presented
at
devops
experience
all
day,
devops
devops
Summit,
all
things
open,
microservices,
world
and
devops
world
when
it
gets
rescheduled
the
December
between
now
and
the
end
of
the
year.
B
We
also
have
the
Leadership
Summit,
the
Linux
Foundation
Leadership
Summit,
that
we'll
be
at,
but
we
are
not
presenting
there,
but
we
will
be
meeting
with
some
of
our
our
friends
at
with
a
goal
of
continuing
to
look
for
a
larger
corporate
contributor
and
that's
about
all
I
have
for
outreach.
B
I
think
we
did
do
just
a
note.
We
did
do
a
a
buzz.
A
podcast,
Friday
and
I
I
haven't
need
to
get
that
recorded
and
uploaded
to
the
site
or
cleaned
up
and
uploaded
to
the
site
produced.
C
Oh
and
I
have
right
after
this
I
have
a
meeting
with
Sim
about
hacktoberfest
participation
on
LinkedIn.
A
C
So
I,
don't
I,
don't
know
the
the
format
I'm
guessing.
It's
just
gonna
be
a
quick
intro
to
what
we
got
going
on
in
hacktoberfest
and.
C
So
we'll
get
the
word
out
there
around
that.
B
C
Yeah,
that's
on
my
list
to
do
is
to
add
some
some
of
the
issues
around
the
work
we
need
to
start
with
on
just
on
the
architecture
point
of
view,
that's
like
the
first
two
weeks
worth
of
work
that
we
need
to
accomplish
and.
A
B
So
I
feel
like
you,
we
probably
should
start
scheduling,
separate
meetings
to
get
rolling
on
that
unless
you
want
to
start
incorporating
that
into
the
regular
architecture,
meetings.
B
So
I
will
put
together
a
Google,
Groups
email
for
blockchain
and
add
everybody
who's
responded
to
that
that
group
email.
Oh.
B
C
Some
of
these
we
may
need
to
get
rid
of.
We
have
a
bunch
of
channels
out
there
to
start
really
used
like
announcements,
ambassadors
call
for
paper
topics.
B
Well,
we
do.
We
are
having
a
discussion
on
called
paper
talk,
we're
really
having
more
of
a
discussion
on
blogs.
So
there's
a
shared
doc
out
there
to.
If
you
have
an
idea
about
a
Blog
that
you
think
somebody
should
do,
but
other
than
that
I
don't
know,
that's
a
useful,
Channel,
you're,
probably
better
off
just
to
take
it
out.
It
looks
like
the
last
time
anybody
responded
was
back
in
June,
so
I
would
I'd
kill
that
one.
C
And
does
anybody
know
if
you
can
use
like
hashtags
in
in
Discord
kind
of
like
you
do
with
Twitter?
You
know,
so
you
could
kind
of
like
tag.
Something
I've
never
tried.
A
Anything
about
it,
we
can
create
roles
and
if
we
could,
if
we
take
that
role,
then
all
the
people
who
got
that
role
get
notified.
C
But
I
think
you
can
search
on
keywords
and
stuff
like
that,
so
that
may
be
the
way
we
can
put
a
hashtag.
You
know
tag
something
and
then
allow
people
to
search
on
it
that
way.
I'll
have
to
play
around
with
it.
C
So
that's
what
we
got
going
on.
Oh
I,
did
see
that
the
Ripple
folks
have
posted
all
of
the
recorded
sessions
from
Vegas,
so
I'm
gonna
see
what
it
takes
to
get
the
the
right
link
and
let
everybody
know
maybe
just
a
playlist
here,
oh
cool,
it's
just
a
playlist.
C
Excellent,
because
this
was
really
good,
you
know
we'll
be
able
to
pull
a
lot
of
the
nft
knowledge
and
stuff
like
that
from
these
presentations,
foreign
there's
42
presentations.
B
A
C
Yeah,
let
me
put
it
into
Discord.
B
B
A
A
C
Yeah
and
then
on
the
the
link
I
just
posted
in
Discord
for
the
xrpl
it
it
kind
of
applies
to
us.
But
there's
one
out
here
on
how
Tracy
you
went
to
it.
Was
it
the
Colombian
government
that
they
were
using
the
blockchain
and
nfts
and
stuff
like
that
to
handle
people's
property.
B
B
So
they
created
a
government
site
that
started
tracking
it
and
it
included
a
one
of
those
QR
codes
where
you
can
scan
it
would
take
one
it
would
take
you
to
all
of
the
documents
approve
your
ownership.
B
C
Kind
of
separately
I
talked
to
jfrog
and
they
would
like
to
do
their
CDF
Meetup
after
kubecon,
okay,
because
then
they'll
have
their
formal
announcement
and
all
that
stuff.
So
they.
