A
Okay
and
we
are
live
thanks,
everyone
so
today
is
august
16th
and
we
have
the
regular
toc
meeting
thanks
to
everyone
for
joining
it's
still
vacation
period
in
europe
or
maybe
a
school
period
for
some
of
the
parents.
So,
thanks
to
everyone
who
is
with
us,
let
me
share
my
screen.
A
A
Finally,
it
was
on
the
one
nomination
me
so
I'm
staying
to
sit
here
for
another
year
but,
as
I
said
at
the
previous
meeting
yeah,
it
will
be
my
last
term,
so
I
intend
to
step
down
next
year
and
I
will
be
focusing
on
onboarding
somebody
s
toc
contribute
or
we
discussed
various
options
like
vice
chair
or
whatever,
to
be
seen,
but
yeah
long
story
short.
We
will
need
to
ensure
continuity
of
this
role,
but
we
have
so
many
active
contributors,
so
it
shouldn't
be
a
big
problem.
A
B
Yeah
the
call
for
papers-
I
think
we
closed
it
last
wednesday
and
we
have
a
program
committee
from
within
community
and
the
program
should
go
live
maybe
next
week,
depending
on
how
you
can
get
the
program
to
lf
iran's
team.
B
B
A
Thank
you
so
much
thanks
to
everyone.
Hoplite
to
this
event,
looking
forward
to
the
announcements,
do
we
plan
any
cdf
agenda
around
this
conference,
I
mean
for
governance,
for
ambassadors,
for
whatever.
B
B
Mainstream,
so
we
had
to
organize
this
very
quickly.
It's
like
plain
agenda,
but
if
any
community
members
plan
to
be
there,
we
can,
you
know,
go
to
an
irish
pub.
I'm
sure
there
are
many
of
them
there
and
have
meaning
to
get
together
monday
evening,
maybe
like
just
maybe
if
people
want
to
go
there,
we
can
all
plant
with
that.
We
can
organize
something
in
the
evening.
A
Yeah
one
thing
to
keep
in
mind
that
yeah
in
one
month,
the
cdf2c
meeting
will
overlap
with
this
conference,
but
I
think
we
keep
the
schedule,
as
is
because
most
of
the
people
won't
be
traveling
to
island
right.
A
B
So
this,
like
I
added
this
topic
for
onboarding,
because
some
of
you
are
looking
forward
to
onboarding
persia
cursia
to
cdf
and
thanks
or
like
we
have
the
items
on
that
issue
on
foundation
repo
and
we
need
some
help
from
a
persian
team
which
michelle
sent
a
question
to,
I
believe,
lori
stephen.
B
C
A
C
A
D
C
B
C
D
E
And
and
some
of
the
stuff
we've
already
started,
like
the
domain
transfer
to
the
linux
foundation,
has
been
completed
so
there's
some
things
that
we're
able
to
do
without
having
to
wait
for
like
legal
to
get
through
all
their
stuff,
and
things
like
that.
So
I'll.
B
C
A
C
No,
I
think
I
just
wanted
to
say
that
even
even
when
fatih
was
out,
we
we
received
excellent
support
so
far.
We
we
michelle,
jumped
on
a
call
with
me
and
she
said
things
right
for
permission
for
zoom
and
everything.
So
we
really
appreciate
you
know
that
we
were
able
to
move
even
even
when
people
were
you
know
in
and
out
so.
A
Thanks
for
the
positive
feedback,
one
question
about
the
announcements:
do
we
have
a
timeline
for
them,
because
the
efforts
it
might
be
somehow
aligned
with
the
cdf
summit
yeah,
but.
B
A
Yeah,
so
one
more
because
when
you
said
that
all
projects
are
mentioned
in
the
program
actually
pc
is
not
mentioned,
so
there
was
no.
Is
it
for
person.
B
And
there
is
a
top
propose
from
lori
there.
I
know
if
she
intends
to
talk
about
persia
but
yeah.
It
may
not
be
cd
mini
summit,
so
it's
like
it
remains
to
be
some
scene
and
we
are
waiting
for
lori
university
to
come
back
with
yeah
answers,
and
we
will
have
another
meeting
about
this
announcement
stuff
as
well
to
make
sure
everyone
is
on
the
same
page.
We
know
when
it
is
going
out
and
so
on.
B
A
B
C
Yeah,
and
is
there
a
way
to
you-
know
make
this
faster?
What
are
the
things
we
can
help?
I
I'll
I'll
get
the
question
answered
soon,
but
other
are
there
other
things
where
we
can
help
to
move
it
faster
than
a
month
so
that
we
could
possibly
do
the
announcement
in
dublin
if
we
wanted
to.
B
I
I
can't
promise
for
other
groups
within
lf
so
but
like.
If
you
get
the
answers
yeah,
we
can
start
to
get
quicker.
A
B
E
Yeah,
I'm
I'm
on
the
same
boat
oleg,
where
persia
is
willing
to
work
with
changing
anything
that
need
that
it's
going
to
be
a
requirement
from
lf
and
I
from
looking
at
what
what's
out
there.
I
don't
think
we're
going
to
have
any
legal
issues,
so
yeah
it'd,
be
a
very
small
it'd,
be
something.
C
D
C
One
question:
I
had
actually
sorry
sorry
for
coming
late
to
that,
so
we
have
been
operating
on
the
openness
of
open,
ssf
slack
so
far,
and
I
was
going
to
ask
is
like
we
did,
get
the
zoom
meeting
setup
etc.
Can
we
set
up
the
channel
on
cdf
slack
and
then
have
a
transition
started,
or
should
we
wait.
A
C
C
So
that
is
the
same
on
openness
of
slack.
So
so
we
are,
we
are
making.
We
are
having
conversations
on
the
slack
and
we
are
encouraging
people
to
put
stuff
on
github
issues
so
that
for
permanency,
that's,
I
think,
we'll
continue
doing
the
same
thing
and
what
we'll
do
is
we'll
put
a
transition
on
our
openness
of
slack,
saying
that
from
now
on,
please
engage
here
so.
A
E
And
would
that
issue
be
under
the
toc
or
underneath
the
foundation
repo.
A
D
A
Yeah
one
thing
to
keep
in
mind:
are
there
any
private
channels,
because.
A
C
Follow
me
yeah
yeah,
we
discourage
private
channels,
I
mean
people
can
have
one-on-one
conversations,
but
generally
you
want
all
team
conversations
to
be
open.
B
You
know
just
to
that
oleg
you
put
that
comment
to
your
c
channel
general
channel
as
well
the
slack
limitation
and
so
on,
and
the
other
comment
you
put
there
is
like
olympics.
I
heard
there
was
a
plan
to
have
a
host
of
chat
matter,
most
lfx.
I
actually
asked
lfx
to
see
if
they
have
plans
and
if
I
hear
anything
back,
I
will
give
an
update
like.
A
A
A
So
yeah
you
have
financial
announcement
and
yeah.
A
So
from
participants
does
anyone
plan
specific
program
or
outreach
events
for
oktoberfest.
E
C
Yeah-
and
I
don't
know
what
the
what
separation
you
would
require,
so
if
there
is
some
place
where
I
can
look
for
all
the
setup,
then
we
would
be.
You
know,
we'd
be.
A
So
basically
oktoberfest
is
mass
outreach
program,
so
it
focuses
on
a
big
number
of
small
pull
requests,
mostly
on
our
audience.
That
has
no
experience
in
contributing,
so
please
don't
expect
oktoberfest
to
be
a
way
to
organize
a
massive
hackathon,
but
actually
possible.
So
it
depends
on
the
on
your
investment.
So,
for
example,
many
companies
offer
additional
schwa
for
october
festival
that
you
contribute
to
their
projects
some
companies
or
projects
organize
meetups,
organize
very
special
events,
for
example
in
jenkins,
I
believe
in
2017
or
18.
A
A
Well,
maybe
you
will
yeah
some.
We
had
a
few
quite
good
examples
at
oktoberfest,
with
people
joining
and
basically
hiking
for
the
entire
month
doing
a
lot
of
changes
but
yeah.
It's
a
rather
exceptional
case.
Usually,
yes,
yeah.
E
And-
and
I
remember
like
last
time,
the
ocean
was
lagging
and
getting
their
website
and
everything
up
to
date.
It
looks
like
they're
in
the
same
boat
this
year.
D
In
addition
to
running
meetups,
you'll
definitely
want
to
announce
that
you're
being
that
you're
with
oktoberfest,
that
you'll
have
the
tags
on
your
issues
and
that
you
have
you
know
core
contributors
who
are
interested
in
helping
people
with
their
first
pull
request
or
their
proquest
for
hacktoberfest,
so
just
sort
of
letting
that
information
be
known
and
and
making
sure
that
you
have
individuals
who
are
watching
your
go
for
those
issues
that
are
tagged
and
you
know,
will
give
maybe
a
little
more
hands-on
help.
A
So
we
offer
anyone
who
is
interested
to
pitch
the
plugin
or
other
project,
which
is
a
part
of
jenkins,
and
it's
actually
quite
a
good
community
exercise
and
this
what
the
framework
we
built
on
top
of
it
and
yeah.
If
you
just
go
to
previous
years,
there
is
a
bunch
of
other
stuff
happening,
but
it
really
requires
significant
time
investment.
If
you
go
beyond
just
having
issues.
E
Now
would
do
we
want
to
do
a
an
announcement
from
the
cdf
side
of
things
of
of
which
projects
have
are
participating
and
where
to
find
the
the
the
details,
or
should
we
just
have
each
project?
Do
it
on
their
own.
F
What
the
project
should
do,
but
we
will,
in
addition,
have
a
blog
post
for
sure,
and
I
mean
if
there's
traction
and
people
really
want
to
do.
We
could
do
a
cdf
webinar.
D
About
actor
profess,
how
to
be
engaged,
which
projects
are
participating
and
eager
to
to
help
us.
D
B
D
A
I
believe
we
had
a
discussion
about
having
oktoberfest
pattern
in
inner
source
commands,
so
this
one
of
the
communities
that
accelerates
a
bunch
of
such
documentation.
So
if
it's
there
actually
there
is
a
meeting
happening
right
now.
A
A
D
Sure,
if
I
can
find
more
details
like
well,
I
think
last
time
we
also
put
up
some
pages,
but
I
doubt
we
got
much
participation,
yeah,
but
we'll
be
we'll,
be
interested
to
put
up
a
page
and
see
if
we
can
get
some
traction.
D
A
So
yeah
probably
I'll,
take
action
item
to
provide
some
guidelines
because
we
did
it
with
canal
life
few
years
one
year
ago
I
believe
so.
I
should
have
materials.
D
D
A
Issue
for
breakfast
is
having
enough
of
good
first
issues
and
have
github
topics
so
that
everyone
could
discover
them
because
the
most
of
the
traffic
from
for
oktoberfest
comes
from
github
and
octoberfest
side.
They
actually
have
all
these
queries
of
suggestions
to
link
and
they
improved
this
tooling
over
the
years.
For
example,
last
year
when
you
were
on
october
1st
interface,
you
would
say
that
I
like
javascript,
and
then
it
randomly
offers
you
a
bunch
of
projects
and
the
issues.
F
A
Sometime
in
september,
so
how
it
happens
one
year,
one
month
in
advance,
usually
they
announce
it
for
19
years
before
it
was
important,
because
around
oktoberfest
there
were
a
lot
of
local
hiker,
gardens,
etc,
organized
in
different
cities.
So
hundreds
of
them
and
basically
early
announcement,
was
specifically
for
these
organizers
so
that
they
could
prepare.
They
could
receive
october's
first
schwag,
which
is
awesome
and
yeah.
A
So,
but
still
preparation
was
starting,
just
in
september,
give
or
take
and
octoberfest
site
et
cetera
goes
live,
maybe
one
week
before
the
event,
because
there
is
no
need
to
prepare
everything
too
much
in
advance.
The
risk
is
that
they
change
their
rules
a
bit
every
year,
but
it's
something
you
can
adjust
to.
E
And,
and
what
will
happen
is
the
participants
have
to
register
with
the
digital
ocean
hector
fess
website
in
order
to
be
tracked
as
part
of
the
their
process?.
A
D
A
A
F
F
A
Yeah
cncf
does
it
it's
usually
quite
interesting
to
watch.
I
think
that
you
could
follow
this
for
once.
D
F
I'm
happy
to
send
if
I
know
all
of
the
individuals
I'm
happy
to
send
an
invite
to
them
and
actually
add
them
to
the
calendar.
Unless
cara.
Do
you
think
you
could
do
that
easier.
A
Well,
it's
a
good
opportunity
and
for
that
we
actually
can
do
some
additional
promotion.
So,
for
example,
once
we
have
somebody
planned-
let's
say
well
even
september
13th,
I
guess
in
one
month,
so
we
can
just
do
announcement,
webinar,
etc,
to
attract
more
people
to
the
meeting.
F
Yeah
and
on
that
topic,
lori,
larusso
and
roxanne
had
reached
out
to
me
and
asked
me
if
I
could
start
the
cdf
online
meetups
again,
so
I
will
be
working
with
that
team
to
do
that,
and
certainly
we
should
showcase
the
all
of
our
open
source
projects
and
allow
them
to
do
that
and
I'll
make
sure
that
gets
done
fati.
I
think
the
first
one
we
should
do
is
meet
the
new
meet
the
new
boss.
F
So
so
we
will
be
providing
a
platform
for
the
online
meetings
for
the
different
projects.
I'm
very
excited
about
doing
that,
but
I
think
this
one
we
should
just
really
make
it
a
you
know,
really
a
toc
review
of
the
architecture,
what
they're
working
on
the
direction
that
they're
going
just
so
we
have
an
idea
and
if
there's
anything
that
we
want
to
direct
them
towards
like
cd
events,
I
keep
pushing
that.
Then
we
we
can
have
that
discussion
with
them.
F
I'm
sure
we
could
get,
we
could
get
steve
to
do
something
in
our
ortilius,
the
first
one
or
I
would
do
it
or
brad
could
do
it.
So
there's
three
of
us
on
here
that
could
do
it
for
next
week
and
you
know
I'm
sure
that
oleg
you
could
probably
go
over
what
jenkins
is
going
through.
I
haven't
heard
anything
from
jenkins,
x
or
screwdriver
in
some
time.
I
haven't
already
heard
anything
from
spinnaker
in
some
time,
so
I
don't
really
know
where
those
projects
are
at.
A
F
F
F
But
I
think
the
focus
should
be
on
not
introducing
the
tool
but
talking
about
the
projects
and
where
they're
taking
the
tool.
D
F
And
then
I've
also
reached
out
to
willem
from
directive.
They
have
an
event-based
pipeline
tool.
He
had
indicated
in
austin
that
they
were
interested
and
being
becoming
a
part
of
the
linux
foundation
as
an
open
source
project.
I
really
pitched
the
cd
foundation.
They
were
interested.
D
A
F
D
A
A
A
Yes,
so
we
had
these
discussions
about
one
year
ago,
when
we
were
discussing
joining
the
inclusive
naming
initiative
yeah
spoiler
earlier,
the
application
is
still
stuck
due
to
reasons
unknown,
but
yeah
there
were
a
number
of
items
discussed,
including
terminology
in
jenkins.
A
We
also
see
wrong
terminology
in
spinnaker
at
least
well
jenkins,
x2,
I'm
not
sure
about
other
projects.
Another
topic
we'll
be
discussing
is
renaming
of
default
branches
on
github,
because
historical
repositories
have
master
name,
and
it's
actually
tier
1
term,
which
is
recommended
to
be
removed
and
by
default
projects
switch
to
main,
and
this
is
basically
what
the
brett
was
asking
about.
A
Okay,
so
what
I
wanted
to
say
that
all
repositories
that
have
no
connected
automation
that
have
no
github
actions
for
publishing
or
whatever
that
have
no
are
not
being
used
as
apis
can
be
renamed
in
just
a
few
clicks,
for
example
for
tvc
it
can
be
done
easily
and
all
the
links
could
be
retained
because
github
has
some
redirection
capabilities
not
in
rest
apis
but
in
web
interface.
So,
for
example,
if
you
have
a
readme,
any
master
hyperlink
will
be
automatically
renamed
so
for
tourism.
Maybe
I'll
do
it
right
now
and
well.
D
Yeah
for
the
I
I
just
see
it
happening
in
in
small
steps,
so
the
one
foundation
foundation
would
be
a
good
start
as
well
and
just
slowly
slowly
changing
to.
D
I
think
it's
really
important
as
leaders
that
we
do
it,
because
that
will
influence
the
world
really
and
it's
a
good
start
to
start
from
the
foundation.
A
A
E
And
and
maybe
sending
out
just
a
some
sort
of
announcement
to
all
the
projects
to
let
them
just
as
a
reminder
to
go
start
working
on
the
rename.
A
Yeah,
it
could
be
nice
so
one
year
ago
we
had
a
quite
a
big
lobby
in
the
jenkins
project
to
make
it
happen.
So
there
are
a
number
of
contributors,
including
current
algor,
cara
and
actually
a
number
of
other
people
who
were
pushing
this
project
towards
this
effort.
Faded
a
bit
also
actually
gave
up
waiting
for
the
linux
foundation
to
accept
cdf
to
the
inclusive
naming
initiative.
A
E
Yeah-
and
I
can't
remember
if
the
the
lfx
security
scanning
tool
will
tag
it
because
I
know
it
has
some
inclusive
naming
parts
of
it.
But
I
know
when
you
configure
that
it'll
you
give
it
the
the
repos
that
you
wanted
to
look
at,
not
all
the
repos
in
the
organization
which
will
miss
things.
A
It
will
scan
things
for
sure.
So,
yes,
there
is
a
component
which
by
default,
looks
for
inclusive
naming
and
also
for
licensed
misusage,
but
yeah.
You
need
to
get
it
actually
running
against
cdf
repositories
and
right
now
it's
not
the
case.
I
believe
right,
because
it's
not
a
project.
So
if
you
take
all
this
cdf
metadata,
I'm
not
sure
there
is
even
a
way
to
register
foundation
in
lfx.
A
Maybe
it's
possible.
I
haven't
checked
but
yeah
from
what
I
remember
from
the
management
console.
It's
not
trivial,
because
yeah
there
is
a
linux
foundation,
management
console
where
you
can
see
all
the
projects
etc,
and
I
believe
the
lfx
security
controls
are
accessible
only
on
the
project
level,
all
right,
but
yeah.
We
can
check
and
you're
totally
right
that
if
you
could
enable
it,
it
would
be
awesome.
A
But
yeah
I'm
not
sure
what
they
left
security
on
onboards
new
projects.
They
definitely
put
it
on
hold
in
march
for
a
few
months.
I
was
about
checking
it
actually
for
captain,
but
I'm
not
sure
it's
re-enabled.
D
A
D
Can
probably
take
most
of
them
right
away
because
they
have
no
automation
and
we
can
create
dedicated
issues
for
the
most
complicated
ones.
I
guess
maybe
the
landscape,
one
also
with
what
we
did
for
tectum.
We
just
we
basically
set
a
time
for
around
like
winter
holidays,
where
it's
usually
quiet.
We
said:
okay,
we're
going
to
do
the
renaming
there
because
we're
going
to
have
fewer
prs.
A
A
D
Right
so
I
wanted
to
check
some
the
sig
events
zoom
meeting,
because
we
had
some
inconsistencies
in
between
the
calendar
and
our
meeting
notes
on
the
link.
So
we
had
two
links
and
I
wasn't
able
to
to
join
sorry
to
login
into
the
zoom
account
anymore.
D
I
was
chatting
with
michelle
and
there
is
a
new
multi-factor
authentication
requirement
now,
which
means
that
the
the
zoom
account
that
is
used
right
now
for
the
sig
meetings
is
behind
this
multi-factor
authentication
and
which
is
associated
with
an
email,
info,
etc
foundation
that
email
addresses
may
contain.
Sensitive
information
is
not
something
we
can
add
people
to
so
we're
discussing
with
michelle,
and
the
idea
was
we
could
create
a
new
sub
account
shared
across
all
the
sig
events.
D
A
I'm
not
sure
how
it
was
how
to
find
what
configure
the
l6,
but,
for
example,
the
engine
can
say
that
is
strength.
It's
a
cd
foundation,
mailing
list,
so
at
least
there
is
no
single
person
bottom
line,
but
homer
is
connected
by
to
this
mailing
list.
They
receive
notification
on
this
single
time
code
still
not
particularly
if
you
need
to
share
the
account
with
somebody
in
the
community,
but
at
least
it's
not
a
single
person,
ownership.
D
They
have
the
same
problem
now
and
I'm
not
sure
it's
worth
making
one
account
per
se.
Maybe
basically
the
proposal
would
be
to
make
any
distribution
list
or
an
email
address
where
we
can
add
the
representative
for
the
value
six
and
I
have
that
account
shared
across
the
different
special
interest.
Currency.
B
It
is
currently
being
parked
the
baby
because
we
collect
some
feedback
from
community.
During
the
meeting
michelle
had
like
during
july,
I
think,
and
we
passed.
B
To
baby,
so
it's
not
the
top
priority
at
the
moment,
so
we
will
re-evaluate
this
because
cncf
is
heavy
heavy
baby
users
and
we
just
need
baby
stuff
to
be
fixed
by
them
like
we
don't
have
to
deal
with
the
weird
stuff.
A
Well,
at
least
I
currently
see
that
there
is
a
simulcast
button
which
was
missing
a
few
months
ago,
so
in
the
control
I
can
start
broadcast
to
youtube,
which
also
one
of
the
teachers
was
grumbling
about.
D
B
Yeah,
but
going
back
to
what
andrea
said,
if
I
may
like,
I,
I
think
it's
like
the
way
you
try
it
for
zooms
of
icons
on
the
retect
on
alias.
You
are
already
talking
with
michelle.
I
think
like
having
a
single
alias
for
r6
and
co-chairs
you're.
Those
miss
look
like
a
good
way
forward,
easy
thing
to
fix.
I
think.
D
Okay,
so
I
think
we
have
quite
a
few
folks
here
from
this
week,
so
unless
I
hear
anyone
shouting
no,
then
we
just
go
out
and
set
it
up
to
go
with
michelle.
