Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
Therefore,
I
call
meeting
number
813
of
30th
of
january
to
order,
and
so
we'll
start
this
morning's
with
a
prayer
heavenly
father
grant
that
we
who
would
seek
to
serve.
You
may
have
this
wisdom
of
your
spirit,
the
guiding
of
your
hand
and
the
grace
to
serve
together
for
the
prosperity
of
our
city,
the
gold
coast
through
jesus
christ.
Our
lord
amen,
let's
be
upstanding
for
our
national
anthem,.
B
A
Okay
item
one
attendance
and
apologies:
I
think
we've
dealt
with
that.
Alright,
we've
got
councillor
peter
young
and
do
we
have
to
move
motion?
We
we
moved
the
motion
before
that.
All
right:
okay,.
A
Okay,
still
away
leave
of
absence,
that's
pretty
hung
it
up,
but
not
that
condolences
we'll
go
to
the
first
one.
Councillor
ryan
bell
in
blamsden.
C
Thank
you,
mr
mayor,
just
like
to
move
that
a
motion
of
condolence
be
passed
and
then
a
message
of
sympathy
be
forwarded
to
the
palmer
family
on
the
part.
C
C
Thank
you,
mr
mayor.
Danny
palmer
was
born
in
new
south
wales,
but
moved
to
wrongly
and
spent
most
of
his
life
living
on
the
gold
coast.
He
attended
merrimack
state
school
and
merrimack
state
high
school.
C
He
played
rugby
union
and
represented
southeast
queensland
enough.
That
spent
some
time
in
the
army,
moving
on
to
driving
trucks
working
at
the
turf
club
and
then
danny,
commenced
work
with
council
on
the
16th
of
november
2009,
with
the
city
cleaning
team,
danny
carried
out
duties
such
as
litter,
patrol
barbecue,
cleaning,
toilet
cleaning,
street
sweeping
and
servicing
bins
in
our
parks
and
parks
and
public
areas
to
ensure
our
city
was
well
presented.
C
Danny's
interests
were
the
quiet
life
spending
time
with
his
family
and
friends.
Listening
to
music
spending
time
with
his
golden
retriever
bonnie,
he
was
also
very
keen
on
motorcycles,
which
was
a
passion
he
developed
from
a
very
young
age.
He
loved
his
harley-davidson
breakout,
which
he
purchased
in
2018..
C
Sadly,
danny
battled
with
leukemia
for
the
last
two
years
and
despite
being
given
a
high
degree
of
confidence
from
his
medical
practitio
practitioners
that
he
was
due
to
clear
from
this
illness,
it
was
unfortunate.
It
returned
and
sadly,
danny
passed
away
on
the
30th
of
november
2021
dany's
wife
sharon
also
currently
still
works
for
council
in
the
library
services
and
she
tirelessly
cared
for
him
during
his
illness
and
his
treatment.
A
Good
motion
to
you
councillors,
oh
info,
show
hands
against
motion
carried
cancer
versa
and
your
name.
Yes,.
D
A
You,
mr
smith,
and
council,
mcdonald
and
council
byron
council
caldwell
that
you're
automatically
in
okay.
All
right.
We
go
next.
Condolence
council
brook
patterson.
E
Thank
you,
mr
mayor.
I
wish
to
move
the
motion
of
condolence
the
condolences
be
passed
in
a
message
of
sympathy
forwarded
to
the
family
of
david
matiski
I'll.
E
David
matiski,
I
had
the
great
fortune
of
meeting
for
the
first
time
last
year
at
the
age
of
95,
and
what
struck
me
about
him
was
what
a
modern
man
he
was
at
the
age
of
95.
He
was
so
future
and
forward
thinking
thinking
about
what
could
he
do
for
his
society,
his
country,
based
on
his
background?
E
He
was
born
in
inland
south
australia
in
1925,
and
it
may
be
because
of
that
inland
upbringing
that
he
was
fascinated
by
the
sea.
So
at
the
age
of
18
1943
enlisted
with
the
royal
australian
navy,
he
served
upon
hmas,
shropshire
and
was
involved
in
engagements
with
the
japanese
in
the
philippines,
including
the
battle
of
sarajega,
and
he
was
present
in
tokyo
during
the
japanese
surrender
in
1945.
E
Should
the
philippines
and
australia
have
to
meet
a
mutual
enemy
again,
he
was
really
adamant
about
his
ability
to
do
that.
He
was
one
of
the
first
key
sta.
Well,
he
was
a
state
executive
for
the
rsl
during
the
the
50s
and
60s
and
a
life
member
at
that
stage.
So
it
was
a
real
champion
of
supporting
veterans
from
that
time.
E
E
A
F
F
F
A
Council
counseling
jones
yeah
second
and
we'll
add
your
name.
Add
your
name
as
well:
council,
callwell,
council,
mcdonald,
councillor
boster
council
o'neil
cancer,
pc
young.
D
D
Thank
you
very
much,
mr
mayor,
this
man,
on
behalf
of
very
grateful
community
and
the
rubina
city
soccer
club,
like
to
express
gratitude
to
alan
and
his
family
for
their
contribution
to
the
establishment
of
the
rubina
city
soccer
club
in
1992.
They
fielded
just
one
team
and
today
boasts
over
65.
D
the
club's
success
has
been
built
on
many
people
making
small
but
important
contributions
at
precisely
the
right
time,
and
I
know
the
club
and
our
community
feels
indebted
to
al
who
served
as
the
very
first
secretary
of
that
ascent
club
and
understand
that
the
club,
and
perhaps
that
team
has
a
special
connection
to
to
councillor
taylor,
who
I
think
was
part
of
that
that
first
cohort
at
rubina
city
soccer.
So
perhaps
the
contribution
of
l
and
establishing
that
club
paved
the
way
for
good
representation
in
division
10..
D
So
if
we
could
perhaps
just
acknowledge
all
of
those
volunteers
selfless
work
in
the
background
to
support
grassroots
sport
today
by
acknowledging
the
contribution
of
mr
gosling.
Thank
you.
Thank
you.
A
A
Next
item
is
merrell
minute.
The
first
one
of
the
merrell
minute
is
the
beach
club
extension
trial
extension
and,
if
you
can
put
the
resolution
on
the
screen.
A
A
Right
counselors,
the
motion
is
on
the
screen
for
all
to
see
we
decided
to
trial
the
beach
club.
A
Since
then,
it's
been
been
going
very
well
and
all
those
concerns
regarding
litter
and
and
all
the
problem
that
protesters
listed
hasn't
hasn't
arisen.
The
place
has
been
kept
pristine.
A
The
only
thing
that
disrupt
our
trial
period
is
some
unseasonal,
poor,
weather
and,
and
with
that
in
mind,
I
thought
put
to
you
a
six
weeks.
A
Extension
will
give
us
the
data
that
we
can
analyze
to
see
whether
or
not
this
sort
of
project
should
continue,
and
that's
what
I'm
seeking
today
and
I
I
did
talk
to
deputy
premier
and
while
I
had
him
down
there
and
said,
look
I
want
to
see
if
we
can
get
a
six
weeks
extension
and
he's
advised
that
he
had
no
objections
from
him
and
his
department.
A
So
council
has
any
question
on
this
councillor
o'neil.
G
Thanks,
mr
mayor,
mr
mayor,
I
did
see
a
report
now
I
have
actually
looked
at
myself
just
about
the
appearance
of
back
of
office,
sort
of
thing
back
of
house
for
that
area.
I
don't
know
just
because
it's
a
trial,
they
may
not
have
looked
at
that,
but
it
it
sometimes
appears
untight,
especially
from
the
street,
as
you're
walking
across
the
park.
I.
A
I
spoke
with
bob
east
on
that
he's
going
to
tidy
it
up,
but
at
the
same
time,
that
should
this
be
I'm
just
preempting.
Let's
say
we
were
intending
to
do
that
five
months,
a
year
year
on
year,
will
have
a
more
permanent
look
good
looking
entry
there
instead
of
makeshift
so,
and
he
did
say
that
he's
aware
of
it
and
fix
that
up
councillor,
taylor.
G
Thank
you
and
more
just
of
a
comment
and
feedback.
Every
time
I've
been
down
there,
we've
had
very
good
crowds.
The
only
feedback
has
been
the
appearance
appearance,
but
it
is
an
event
space.
So
we
understand
that
part
of
this
trial
isn't
looking
at
the
cosmetic
side
of
it,
but
we've
had
a
lot
of
people
locally
that
have
shown
support,
even
the
ones
that
may
have
hesitation.
G
We've
really
encouraged
them
to
actually
go
on
the
beach
and
actually
troll
it
and
there's
been
good
support
there.
So
we
do
have
challenges
in
relation
to
the
surf
club
and
the
local
volleyballers,
which
we've
been
working
well
with,
but
besides
the
weather,
it's
been
very,
very,
very
well
received
at
this
stage
what
I've
seen
so
far.
Okay,.
H
Council,
tate
councillor
gates,
councilor
hamill
councillor
new
york,
council
called
world
council
of
foster
council
polling
young
councillor,
owen
jones,
council,
taylor,
council,
patterson
council
about
lumpster
and
councillor
toza.
A
A
A
And
so
I
said,
if
you
can
have
a
talk
to
your
board
and
and
of
course
got
to
be
approved
by
her
majesty
and
get
back
to
me,
took
a
while
to
come
through
they're
doing
one
in
england
and
they're
not
doing
any
other
anywhere
else.
So
it
was
a
long
shot
to
have
a
jubilee
walkway
project,
but
the
answers
come
back.
That
masjid
would
be
pleased
to
join
phillip
park
to
queen
elizabeth
park
and
because
nobody
else
has
got
it
in
the
world.
A
So
it's
a
very
short
short
resolution.
I
put
to
you
that
I
moved
there.
The
cost
is
about
fifty
thousand
dollars
because
we
inlaying
the
plaque,
and
the
other
thing
is.
I
said
to
director
twine
that
be
good.
A
When
you
stand
on
the
spot,
if
we
could
embed
some
sort
of
code,
qr
code
or
whatever,
and
and
that
it
it
tells
you
the
significance
of
that
location
on
the
gold
coast,
so
as
you're
walking
down
you
can,
you
know
just
say:
okay,
what's
this
is
what
wonder
what
this
location
was
about
out
a
bit
of
our
history
in
there,
and
he
said
he
can
do
it
in
that
budget
as
well
so
councillors.
I
think
it's
a
good
opportunity,
council
and
jones.
I
Thank
you,
mr
mayor.
I'm
not
too
sure
if
either
the
federal
or
the
state
government
have
jubilee
projects
as
well,
so
I'd
be
interested
in
making
sure
that
if
there
is
an
opportunity
for
the
city
to
apply
for
any
of
those
grants,
we
use
this
project.
As
part
of
that,
I
think
that
I
read
somewhere
that
I
think
the
state
government
is
in
this
space
as
well,
so
if
they
would
like
to
share
the
investment
that
makes
sense.
Okay,.
A
I
would
I
would
write
to.
I
would
write
to
the
premier
to
see
if
they
they
would
want
to
do
a
joint
funding
project
but
and
for
goodwill's
sake.
It's
it's
a
good
idea.
So,
let's
see
what
they
got
to
say
if
they
say
no
well,
there's
there's
money
there
on
the
local
area
reserve
account
the
whole
the
city
one
and
so
there's
money
aside
for
that,
but
we
don't
have
to
utilize.
A
All
of
it
sure
and
I'll
write
to
the
prime
minister
as
well,
and
the
opportunity
will
be
that
we
lay
the
first
one
I
think
on
the
2nd
of
june.
That's
the
proposed
project
date.
That's
when
they
the
date
of
celebration
for
the
platinum
jubilee
in
the
uk
council
is
anyone
wants
to
speak
against
the
motion.
H
A
Director
twine,
could
you
reach
that
back
to
mr
vegas
and
it's
a
good
looking
player
as
well
right,
that's
done
confirmation
minutes
from
the
last
time
any
corrections
counselors.
A
A
A
A
I
just
wanted
to
put
on
record
the
resignation
of
the
triple
c
chairman
after
last
week's
announcement
and
disappointed
me,
which
I've
aired
in
public,
that
in
his
on
his
comment
and
leaving
the
office,
he
failed
to
apologize
to
the
victims,
specifically
counsellors
in
logan
and
life
and
family
that
were
destroyed
and
reputation,
and
I
also
want
to
put
on
the
record
that
I
am
greatly
admired
and
respect
the
work
of
the
p
triple
c.
A
That
has
brought
this
to
brought
this
matter
to
this
position
and
that
and
now
it's
up
to
the
state
government
to
restore
confidence
back
into
the
triple
c,
and
that
and
I
have
written
to
the
government
and
gave
him
a
10-point
plan
best.
I
could
and
at
least
there's
some
ideas
there
that
how
they
can
make
it
better.
A
Our
next
one
is
the
mayor's
christmas
carol
was
attended
by
council
gates,
corwell
patterson
le
castro,
hamel
and
owen
jones,
and
isn't
it
christmas
time
just
not
so
long
ago
and
now
we're
end
of
january.
So
I
didn't
get
any
present
from
that
sound
across,
but
that's
all
right,
there's
a
small
video.
I
think
that
channel
7
put
together
for
us.
K
G
K
G
K
A
The
other
interesting
part
is
was
aired
nationally,
three
times
through
channel
seven
network
and
so
the
joy
of
christmas
spreading
from
the
gold
coast
and
be
great
if
you
can
do
a
similar
partnership
again
for
this
year.
A
So
in
the
in
the
giving
spirit
of
giving
councillor
caldwell
and
I
were
promoted,
the
oh
sorry,
no,
we
went
too
far
in
the
same
area
anyway,
rededication
of
dennis
o'connell
park
and
council
called
attended,
as
well
as
the
o'connell
family
state
mp,
sam
o'connor
and
former
mayors,
lex
and
lex
bell
and
gary
baldwin.
A
A
Dennis
played
a
key
role
in
some
of
the
city's.
Most
significant
decisions
include
including
completion
of
the
sea
wall
at
the
spit
and
using
his
casting
vote
at
his
last
council
meeting
to
approve
what
was
to
become
the
gold
coast,
art
center,
a
great
legacy,
and
while
we
were
there
and
the
next
item
that
council
calwell
and
I
promoted
free
tree
giveaway
announcement
that
this
household
can
come
and
pick
up,
three
trees
and
booty
corporates
and
organization
can
do
so.
A
A
And
I
just
I
asked
the
question:
oh,
how
many
trees
have
we
planted
as
a
in
addition
to
the
normal
program,
when,
in
the
nine
years
we've
planted
more
than
670
000
trees
across
our
city?
A
So
some
say
we
are
the
greenest
city
in
all
the
land,
and
but
I
won't
go
that
far
yet
when
we
get
to
a
million
we'll
do
that.
Okay,
launch
of
the
city
budget
consultation
was
done.
Have
you
say
the
website?
I
know
that
people
looking
at
the
result
enjoy
the
idea
that
we
focus
on
value
for
money
and
that's
have
kept
every
rate
increases
the
past
nine
years
at
at
cpi
or
below.
A
Under
the
stewardship
of
the
new
ceos
coming
in
tomorrow,
australian
surf
life,
saving
championship
announcement
and
council
pauline.
Were
you
there
that
day
as
well?
No
okay,
we
announced
that
2022
austrian
surf
life-saving
championship
will
be
on
the
gold
coast
in
april,
and
events
will
be
held
on
broad
beach,
corawa
and
north
kira.
A
It's
only
fitting
that
the
aussies
have
found
their
home
once
again
on
the
gold
coast,
as
our
city
is
famous
for
his
hospitality,
amazing
weather
and
golden
beaches,
I
was
invited
to
be
guest
speaker
of
gold
coast
chapel.
The
chapel
is
in
warrener
street.
In
narang,
it's
led
by
pastor
marshall
gray.
The
motto
is
set
in
a
relaxed
friend,
friendly
environment.
You
will
be
welcome
and
so
ruth
and
I
were
very
pleased
to
have
gone
there,
and
I
gave
him
my
testimony.
A
A
A
The
idea
is
to
share
the
opportunity
of
smart
city
between
between
us
and
the
asian
smart
city
funds,
so
we'll
work
on
that.
We
signed
an
mlu
back
in
2019,
farewell
to
the
maritima
gold
coast
yacht
for
the
sydney
to
hobart
race,
the
deputy
mayor
and
I
attended
the
hope,
island
marina
to
farewell
the
maritima
race
yacht,
which
sail
south
for
the
famous
sydney
to
hobart
yachting
classic.
A
The
yacht
features
australia's
gold
coast
on
its
spinnaker
and
and
this
image
was
splashed
across
the
new
york
times
and
and
the
other
thing
is
bill
and
the
team
barry,
cotton
and
the
team
did
the
spinnaker
there,
like
that.
You
know
it's
free
of
charge.
It's
the
the
corporate,
have
a
go
spirit
and
proud
of
the
city
scenario.
So
it's
wonderful.
A
They
came
second
in
their
class,
it
was
a
I
was
told
it
was
a
very
brutal
race.
A
lot
of
people
didn't
had
taken
off
the
of
the
of
the
yacht,
and
so
I'm
pleased
I
didn't
volunteer
to
get
on
it.
Official
opening,
pimpermouth
sports
hub.
We
had
councillor
gates,
hamill,
belden,
lumsden
and
councillor
jones
in
attendance.
A
This
is
the
largest
ever
civic
infrastructure
project
delivered
by
the
city.
The
city's
94
million
dollar
project
is
built
across
14
hectares
and
it
is
expected
to
attract
up
to
800
000
visitors
in
its
first
year.
So
there'll
be
a
lot
of
smiles.
There
there's
a
list
of
what's
on
there.
I
won't
read
it
all
out
councillors,
but
go
and
have
a
look.
The
gym
is
top
end
equipment
quite
good.
I
intend
to
go
and
use
it
there
and
see
if
I
can
bench
as
much
as
our
division.
One
counselor.
A
But
I'll
do
some
training.
First,
australian
young
entrepreneurs.
The
award
was
held
at
sheraton,
grand
mariner
in
maine
beach.
It's
a
national
initiative.
So
to
get
all
the
young
entrepreneur,
australian
young
entrepreneurs
award
to
be
here.
It
highlights
our
business
credentials
and
I
congratulate
all
the
outstanding
finalists
and
winners.
A
Mary's
charity
ball.
Checks,
presentation,
it's
wonderful
to
see
that
a
range
of
gold
coast
charities
received
250
000.
The
charities
are
gc
center
against
sexual
violence.
A
Men
of
business
academy,
yes,
house,
have
a
feed
st
john's
crisis
center
gc
project
for
homeless
youth,
us
harvest
baby,
give
back
so
the
generosity
of
gold
coast,
businesses,
it's
wonderful
and
that's
where
the
money
came
from,
and
I
know
that
every
dollar
raised
is
spent
to
these
charities
because
there's
no
overheads
whatsoever
and
since
2012
the
marist
charities
raised
1.7
million
dollars
in
local
charities,
coral
planted
on
the
wonder
reef,
and
so
we
accelerating
the
growth
and
we
planted
coral.
A
A
A
Yeah
we
should
do,
we
should
do
the
dive
there.
I
invite
everyone
and
let's
have
a
crack
when
it
opens
later
on
this
year.
What
do
we
got
here?
Inspection,
the
beach
clean
up
after
cyclone
seth,
took
a
visit,
strong
win,
and
then
we
had
a
tsunami
warning.
A
You
know
the
list
goes
on
year
in
year
out,
but
I
congratulate
our
officers
and
that
and
all
the
programs
that
we
spent
you
know
the
extension
of
grinds
june.
Planting
we've
been
out
there
remember
in
the
early
days
we
cut
with
the
then
hermann
vorster.
A
He
initiated
the
idea
there
and
we
were
planning
on
the
dunes
and
dredging
the
creek.
Every
year
we
spent
about
eight
million
dollars
on
sand
bypass
pipe
network.
Remember
that
rain
bowing.
A
It
all
adds
up
to
the
volume
of
sand
that
we
have
and
and
it
shines
our
assets
and
makes
people
wonder
how
you
know
we
get
hit,
and
then
you
know
24
48
hours
later,
the
scarping
is
gone
and
access
to
the
beach
it's
safe.
So
our
beach
lifestyle
is
not
hindered
and
can
handle
it.
So
it's
a
long
way
since,
when
2013
ex-tropical,
cyclone
oswald
came
and
absolutely
ripped
our
beach
apart-
and
I
remember
I
wanted
some
money
from
the
state
government
at
the
time
and
got
a
cold
shoulder.
A
Then,
on
the
9th
of
january
off
to
san
anna's
greek
orthodox
church,
it
was
a
theophania
service.
I
was
there
with
councillor
patterson
and
got
to
meet
the
new
arts
episcopal
vicar
of
brisbane
his
grace,
bishop
emilianos
of
melona,
and
so
the
celebration
was
wonderful.
We
were
going
to
do
the
blessing
at
the.
A
Evandale
lake
to
walk
across
but
due
to
covert
requirements
and
that
we
leave
it
for
next
year
so
and
we
we
had,
we
had
lunch
with
the
congregation
and
it's
wonderful,
australia,
day,
citizenship
ceremony.
Now
it's
only
40
gold
coasters
that
day,
but
it's
a
tradition
that
we
have
it
and
right
throughout
the
city.
We've
got
australian
citizenship.
A
Unbeknownst
to
me,
when
I
went
when
I
remember
that
1982
I
became
an
australian
citizen
and
there
a
lot
of
camera
reporters
there,
the
journalists
there.
I
think
one
of
the
lady
goes.
Oh
that's!
Ten
years
before
I
was
born,
so
thank
you
very
good,
but
to
really
go
inside.
It's
been
40
years
and
it's
40
happy
years
that
I
became
an
aussie
by
my
own
choice.
Dad
registered
me
as
an
australian
born
overseas,
but
it's
good
to
put
up
your
hand
and
go
no.
G
G
A
Yeah
that
wasn't
my
singing,
it
was
danny.
So
congratulations.
Today's
voice
last
item
councillors
is
maintaining
international
relations
and
it
is
crucial
that
we
utilize
to
maintain
our
our
relationship
and
no
matter
what's
happening
at
the
federal
level.
I
still
reach
out
to
china
with
the
christmas
cheer
and
that
basically,
it
took
me
by
surprise
that
in
the
first
day
I
think
we
had
about
121
000
hits
and
I
think
that's
on
weibo
or
something
like
that.
A
So
I
don't
know
much
about
it,
but
so
there
you
go
council,
as
I
move
that
my
mass
report
be
welcomed
and
noted,
secondary
council
gates
or
info
show
hands
against
carrie.
Unanimous
next
item
clarification
of
members,
mr
acting
ceo,
any
no
neil
business
arising
from
the
minutes,
nil
presentations,
now
conflict
of
interest,
decorations,
yeah,
not
this
like
this.
Okay,
we'll
deal
with
that
later
there
reception
and
consideration
of
committee's
minutes
nil.
A
First
time,
consideration,
notice,
emotion,
no
question
and
notice.
C
Thank
you,
mr
mayor.
I've
received
a
petition
for
your
park
in
mullen.
Diner
they've
got
new
management,
the
community
centre
that
adjoins
the
park
and
their
petitions
seeking
a
reinstatement
of
a
former
playground
and
also
the
addition
of
gym
equipment.
C
A
Okay,
second
council
mcdonnell,
put
the
motion
to
you
or
in
face
your
hands
against
motion
carried,
go
to
council
vorster.
D
Thank
you
very
much,
mr
mayor,
mr
mayor,
I'm
in
receipt
of
a
petition
which
seeks
that
the
city
of
gold
coast
resolve
to
reject
the
proposed
queensland
restrictions
on
people
who
are
not
fully
vaccinated.
It
goes
on
to
provide
some
of
the
impacts
on
those
people.
I've
made
myself
familiar
with
the
contents
of
the
petition,
as
I'm
required
to
under
the
subordinate
local
law.
D
I've
taken
the
further
step
of
seeking
some
advice
from
the
office
of
the
ceo
just
want
to
make
clear
that
my
the
position
I've
landed
on
is
at
odds
with
that
of
the
office
of
the
co,
but
I
believe
that
it's
most
prudent
at
this
point
to
move
a
different
recommendation
to
that
proposed
by
the
city
offices
and
recommend
as
follows,
that
the
petition
not
be
received
by
council
and
if
I
could
have
those.
D
Jones,
so
mr
man,
I'd
just
like
to
add
a
second
of
second
part
to
that,
so
that
the
petition
not
be
received
by
council
and
that
the
petition
be
forwarded
to
the
responsible
state
government
minister
for
their
consideration
and
reply.
Okay,.
E
Thank
you,
mr
mayor.
Through
you
to
the
ceo,
it
would
appear
to
me
that
this
petition
isn't
really
something
that
we
could
accept.
Given
we
aren't
in
a
position
to
reject
state
law,
so
could
could
you
please
just
elaborate
as
to
why
you
thought
it
was
something
we
could.
H
So,
mr
mayor,
if
you
go
to
the
the
subordinate
local
law,
it
just
talks
about,
each
petition
is
to
be
presented
by
the
member
to
make
themselves
acquainted,
so
council's
got
the
choice
as
to
whether
you,
actually
you
can
either
receive
it
or
run
not
receive
it.
I
haven't
actually
been
embarrassing.
I
haven't
actually
seen
the
advice
from
my
my
office,
so
I
think
it's
just
up
to
council
in
terms
of
whether
they
actually
receive
it
or
not,
but
my
view
I.
A
H
Obviously,
council's
got
no
authority
in
terms
of
making
that
decision,
so
I
would
suggest
that
the
the
resolution
the
motion
up
there
is
the
right
one.
A
So
the
motion
see
this
is
not
ultravirus.
Am
I
right.
K
A
Okay,
there
you
go
councilworster.
D
Thank
you,
mr
man,
happy
to
close
with
your
leave
plainly
there
there
are
conversations
that
are
being
had
across
our
community
even
in
our
own
work
workplace.
Concerning
this
matter,
I
always
encourage
residents
to
seek
an
audience
with
the
level
of
government,
that's
ultimately
responsible
for
the
decisions
that
impact
them
in
the
way
that
they
may
feel
that
they're
being
impacted.
D
D
But
ultimately,
mr
mayor
council
has
no
standing
to
intervene
in
this
issue
and,
although
we're
taking
possibly
the
step
today
to
reject
the
petition
and
in
good
faith,
what
we
are
doing
is
forwarding
that
petition
onto
the
responsible
minister
and
putting
the
burden
on
the
decision
maker
to
be
transparent
and
accountable
around
their
policy
positions
which
are
not
necessarily
our
own.
So
so,
hopefully,
the
resident
has
a
all.
The
government
provides
this
resident.
D
The
courtesy
of
a
response
we'll
add
our
weight
to
that
request
by
moving
the
motion
that
we
are
doing
today,
but
yeah
in
in
not
receiving
it,
it
is
not
doing
anything
other
than
attempting
to
help
the
resident
we're
not
deaf
to
their
concerns.
Thank
you.
Thank
you.
A
F
Thank
you,
mr
mayor.
I
need
to
make
a
declaration
in
relation
to
the
matter
before
us,
for
planning
due
to
the
receipt
of
a
donation
from
ups
or
a
few
donations
in
2014,
eighteen
hundred
and
fifty
dollars,
two
thousand
and
fifteen
eighteen
hundred
and
fifty
dollars
and
an
amount
of
1850
refunded
in
full.
In
2016.
F
and
mr
mayor.
I'm
seeking
to
participate
in
making
this
decision
with
the
agreement
of
council.
A
Okay,
procedural
motion:
someone
like
to
move
councillor
caldwell.
N
So
on
that
basis,
mr
mayor,
I'm
happy
to
move
that
it's
appropriate
for
councillor
gates
to
bring
her
experience
to
this
matter
and
that
the
public
interest
is
served
by
her
remaining
in
the
room
and
that
that
outweighs
any
perceived
conflict
that
may
arise.
F
No,
mr
mayor,
I
just
I'm
out
of
practice.
I
I
had
mentioned
in
my
declaration
that
I
provided
to
the
city
solicitor
that
I
have
not
met
or
discussed
the
application
with
any
with
anyone,
and
so
I
felt
that
I
was
able
to
participate
in
the
wider
public
interest.
A
That
adds
to
the
weight
of
it.
You
would
you
second,
that
counselor
o'neill
anyone
want
to
speak
against
emotion,
put
the
match
to
your
own
facial
hands.
N
Thanks,
mr
man,
so
I've
got
a
couple
of
short
planning
matters
to
deal
with
today.
The
first
one
is
item
16.1,
which
relates
to
a
site
on
the
esplanade
miami
and
having
read
through
the
material,
I'm
happy
to
move
the
officer's
recommendation
for
approval,
and
if
I
have
a
second
or
I'll
speak
to
it
briefly,
secondary.
N
Thanks,
mr
mayor,
this
matter,
sorry
I'll
remove
my
mask
for
those
viewers
at
home
who
might
need
the
assistance
of
my
lips.
N
Mr
mayor,
this
is
she's
busy.
This
is
a
matter.
That's
been
kicking
around
for
some
time
in
the
planning
department,
I'm
pleased
to
say
that
there's
recently
been
a
revisiting
of
the
the
fundamentals
of
the
application
which
have
now
been
worked
through
between
the
applicant
and
the
planning
offices
and
after
much
consternation
about
the
whole
project.
The
officers
have
now
arrived
at
a
position
where
they
believe
it
supports
an
approval.
N
I
think
it
was
fair
to
say
that
there
was
some
community
concern
that
was
raised
fairly
in
that
process
and
I'm
quite
satisfied
on
reading
of
the
up
of
the
office's
report
that
their
thorough
analysis
of
the
revised
project
deals
with
many
of
those
matters
that
were
of
original
concern
and
whilst
the
applicant
could
have
sought
up
to
50
height
increase
they're,
actually
in
this
occasion
only
going
to
be
about
six
meters
or
six
and
a
half
meters
over
the
code
assessable
height
limit
of
53..
N
So
we've
got
something
that's
on
the
scale
of
things
very,
very
much
in
keeping
with
the
original
code,
accessible
height
limits
for
this
stretch,
and
I
think
the
revised
design
will
also
be
a
nice
coastal
addition
to
that
part
of
the
the
skyline
at
miami.
Okay,.
F
F
M
M
So
three,
mr
mayor,
the
the
tower
setbacks
are
predominantly
four
meters.
Now
there
is
a
part
of
the
tower
where
it
does
set
back
three
and
a
half
meters,
it's
in
the
center
or
the
best
to
say
the
belly
of
the
tower,
so
that
there
is
a
small
protrusion
for
about
eight
meters
or
seven
and
a
half
meters
their
bedrooms.
And
yes,
so
there
is
an
element
that
does
protrude
forward.
N
So,
council
gates,
if
you
go
to
page
21,
there's
an
illustration
that
shows
the
the
setbacks
for
the
tower,
and
it
also
shows
in
red
what
the
original
slab
setbacks
were
going
to
be,
which
were
much
closer
to
the
boundary
and
you'll
see
that
at
the
rear.
That
sort
of
bulge
has
been
taken
away
and
trimmed
back
so
that
it
extends
to
the
full
four
meter
setback
right
up
until
those
sort
of
two
bedrooms
through
the
middle
of
the
building.
M
So
through
mr
mayor,
the
setbacks
have
been
improved
for
the
entire
height
of
the
tower
and
then
when
we
get
to
the
impact
accessible
portion
of
the
tower,
which
is
the
the
last
two
stories
have
further
recessed
those
to
five
meters
and
then
push
it
back
from
the
frontage
as
well.
G
However,
in
our
height
categories,
which
was
widely
advertised
to
general,
public
proposed
building
height
categories,
53
metres
15
stories.
I
have
raised
this
before
and
I
just
want
to
ask
for
a
a
comment
from
the
council
offices.
It
seems
to
be
inconsistent
in
in
what's
been
out
in
the
public
arena
to
what
has
been
mentioned
here
on
page
15.,
go
ahead.
M
Through
you,
mr
mayor,
and
to
councillor
the
mapped
building
height
is
53
metres
at
this
area.
There
is
no
stories
noted
in
the
current
city
plan
mapping.
G
Thank
you,
mr
mayor.
It's
just
that
it
is
being
noted
in
here
about
the
stories
and
the
meterage,
so
we
either
start
dealing
with
meterage
or
or
stories,
because
what
I'm
raising
here
is
what's
been
put
out
in
the
public
arena
with
the
53
meters
relating
to
15
stories,
but
in
on
page
15.
A
Okay,
counci
patterson.
E
Thank
you
through
you,
mr
mayor.
I've
just
got
a
question
also
on
setbacks,
with
your
response
on
page
96,
so
you've
you've
said
that
you
acknowledge
that
the
proposed
development
results
in
an
intense
tower
relationship.
E
However,
you
give
it
you're
suggesting
that,
given
the
site
context
that
this
is
acceptable,
but
then
you
go
on
to
say
that
the
setbacks
contribute
to
the
streetscape
character,
amongst
other
things.
So
I'm
just
I'm
curious
how
those
two
points
seem
to
be
in
conflict
to
me
so
you're,
saying:
okay,
it
is
intense,
but
it's
okay,
because
it
contributes
to
streetscape
character.
So
could
you
explain
that
please.
M
Through
mr
mayor
and
two
councillor,
the
setbacks,
I
mean
it's
intense
for
what
is
there
right
now?
We
have
three
story
character
immediately
to
the
north
and
I
suppose,
when
we're
looking
at
the
intensity,
it
is
appropriate
for
what
is
sought
by
the
city
plan
in
terms
of
high
intensity
development
in
a
high
density
residential
zone.
A
Counselor
young
did
you
want
to
okay,
you're
good.
Anyone
speak
against
emotion,
council
call
world
to
close.
N
Thanks,
mr
and
I'll
just
I'll
close
briefly,
but
to
give
councillor
patterson
some
comfort,
I
was
fortunate
enough
to
spend
some
time
at
burley
on
the
christmas
break
and
I
was
able
to
undertake
a
number
of
inspections
of
this
particular
straight
on
my
morning.
Walks
and
there's
quite
a
few
new
developments
that
are
happening
along
that
stretch,
and
so
I
think
we
are
seeing
an
evolution
of
the
character
of
you
know
the
old
three-story
walk-ups
being
replaced
with
taller
towers.
N
This
one
is
definitely
a
change
compared
to
what's
there
at
the
moment,
but
I
think
in
the
entire
streetscape
of
what
we're
seeing
set
in
there
behind
the
the
norfolk
pines
we're
seeing
these
kind
of
slender
tower
forms
popping
up
and
replacing
the
older
buildings
that
were
constructed
back
in
the
60s
and
70s.
So
I
think
it.
It
is
a
good
example
of
a
tower.
That's
that's!
Coming
on
that
street.
N
A
The
beds
closed,
a
counselor
put
the
motion
to
you
all
in
face
show
hands
against
motion,
carry
super
majority
right,
16.2
declaration
council
gates.
F
Mr
mayor,
I'm
going
to
be
leaving
the
room
for
16.2
I've,
it's
the
special
delegation
decisions
which
have
already
been
made,
and
I
have
provided
all
of
the
declarations
which
are
appearing
on
the
screen,
which
I
believe
we
are
required
to
do.
In
order
for
my
leaving
the
room,
are
you
satisfied
with
them
just
running
through
on
the
screen.
A
F
Think,
okay,
so
for
I'll
go
through
them
in
order,
then
mr
mayor
item,
4.1
related
to
hickey
lawyers,
being
the
lawyers
for
the
project.
A
N
Thanks,
mr
mayor,
I'm
happy
to
move
that
recommendation.
If
I
have
a
secretary
briefly
speak
to
it,.
N
Thanks,
mr
mayor,
as
has
been
outlined,
this
was
a
wrap-up
report
as
required
following
the
special
delegation
meeting
that
was
held
in
december.
N
There
were
a
number
of
matters
there
that
were
dealt
with
under
special
delegation
for
a
range
of
reasons,
mostly
to
do
with
the
timeliness
of
the
decisions,
and
I
think
you
and
I
were
happy
with
all
of
them.
A
I
Thank
you,
mr
mayor.
It's
it
reflects
the
proposed
change
in
the
borrowings
that
picks
up
a
decision.
The
council
made,
I
think
in
the
last
round,
in
regards
to
the
funding
of
some
important
koala
habitat.
So
it's
whilst
it's
a
closed
session,
I
don't
think
that
we
need
to
go
to
close.
So
could.
A
A
Okay,
anyone
speak
against
a
motion.
Counselor.
I
N
J
No,
mr
mayor,
it's
the
no
I'm
happy
to
move
that
mr
mitt.
A
Second,
council
taylor:
anyone
speak
against
councillor
owen
jones.
I
Mr
mayor,
I
don't
want
to
speak
against,
but
I've
got
a
question
in
regards
to
the
collection
of
data
from
that
event,
so
mr
marham
I've
like
many
councillors,
I
would
have
attended
earlier
years
in
seafarer,
and
I
think
that
it's
a
really
impressive
event
for
the
city,
but
I'd
be
particularly
interested,
is
to
whether
or
not
the
city
intends
to
collect
data
in
regards
to
being
able
to
measure
the
economic
benefit
of
that
event
and
whether
or
not
it
is
enjoyed
by
visitors
from
outside
of
the
local
government
area.
A
G
Through
you,
mr
mayor
councillor,
the
plan
is
twofold:
there,
a
the
intention
is
to
calculate
the
total
audience
size
in
collaboration
with
the
digital
city
team
and
then
b.
The
intention
is
to
collect
data
on
the
ground
that
would
be
able
to
be
matched
with
that
total
audience.
J
Mr
mayor,
I
think
it's
pretty
self-explanatory,
so
it's
all
all
good,
mr
man.
A
L
Thank
you,
mr
mayor.
I
have
two
decorations.
In
fact.
One
is
that
I'm
an
occasional
volunteer
writer
for
blank
street
press
and
from
time
to
time,
the
venues
where
concerts
are
held
provide
me
complimentary
tickets.
For
those
events,
a
reasonable
person
might
presume
that
I
have
a
personal
interest
in
the
outcome
of
a
grant
application
in
this
matter
pertaining
to
blank
street
press.
L
Despite
being
a
volunteer
writer
for
blank
street
press
and
venue's
separate
venues
providing
me
tickets
to
write
about
gigs
and
concerts
that
happen,
I
have
no
personal
interest
in
the
outcome
of
the
grant
application
and
I
maintain
an
open
and
persuadable
mind
in
relation
to
the
matter.
I'd
like
to
remain
in
the
room.
A
Okay,
procedural
motion:
anyone
I'm
council
voter
can.
D
I
just
ask
a
question
of
counselor
tozer.
D
Thank
you,
mr
mayor,
through
you
to
councillor
toza
plainly,
I
think
this
list
of
proposed
allocations
are
on
great
pages,
so
they
are
confidential,
but
just
to
satisfy
myself
and
those
who
may
be
tuning
in.
Can
I
just
ask
very
clearly:
does
the
do
you
stand
to
suffer
a
loss
or
make
a
gain
in
any
way
whatsoever
if
the
project
mooted
in
the
grant
application
is
funded
or
otherwise
by
council?
Thank.
L
A
Right
research,
emotion,
anyone.
A
Come
on
have
a
crack.
Someone
council
call
well.
N
Thank
you
so
much,
I'm
very
happy
for
councillor
toza
to
remain
in
the
room
and
make
a
contribution
on
this
matter.
He's
taken
the
appropriate
step
of
making
the
declaration.
I
think
it's
quite
remote
from
his
interests
and
contributions
to
culture
generally
as
a
contributor
to
the
blank
magazine
is
quite
separate
in
my
mind
to
the
consideration
of
these
matters
today.
So
on
that
basis,
I
think
it's
appropriate
for
him
to
remain
in
the
room
and
bring
his
knowledge
and
love
of
culture
in
this
city
to
this
room.
N
N
H
K
L
Thank
you,
mr
mayor,
is
that
on
that's
on
or
not,
I
think
that's
on.
I
also
have
to
make
a
declaration.
I
wrote
a
letter
of
support
for
swell
sculptures
festivals,
creative
tourism
grant
as
a
divisional
councillor
and
a
reasonable
person
might
presume.
I
have
a
personal
interest
in
the
outcome
of
the
grant
application.
L
Having
provided
that
letter
of
support
as
a
divisional
counsellor,
I
would
like
to
stay
in
the
room
and
continue
to
discuss
the
matter
and
and
participate
in
debate
as
divisional
counsel,
I'm
uniquely
placed
to
communicate
the
issues.
Relevance
to
this
proposed
event
in
providing
a
letter
of
support
to
the
applicant.
I
remain
an
open
and
persuadable
mind
about
the
competitive
tension
between
other
applicants
and
in
particular
at
the
time
that
I
provided
the
letter
of
support.
D
Thank
you
very
much,
mr
just
a
few
questions
through
you
to
counselor
joseph
may.
D
L
L
So
in
considering
directly
the
question
that
council
leversta
has
asked
me,
I
think
I
still
would
have
expressed
my
support
and
I
remain
open
and
persuadable.
D
Thank
you,
mr
smear.
Mr
you
to
the
city
solicitor.
Could
I
and
firstly
acknowledging
that
councillor
toza
did
not
know
that
this
was
an
application
for
a
council
program
at
the
time
that
the
letter
was
drafted
and
submitted.
D
Could
I
just
understand
or
get
some
advice
around
whether
this
meets
the
the
threshold
or
satisfies
a
test
that
a
counselor
becomes
a
submitter
into
a
process?
So,
for
example,
city
council
is
in
receipt
of
a
development
application
and
we
make
a
submission
into
that
decision-making
process.
My
understanding
is
that
needs
to
be
managed
and
may
exclude
us
from
the
decision-making
process.
From
that
point
forward.
D
K
D
Thank
you
very
much,
mr
mayor
and
mr
mayor,
through
you
to
council
toza.
I
I
don't
ask
these
questions
to
make
life
difficult
for
anyone,
but
merely
you
do
your
job
yeah!
You
want
to
do
a
job
and
until
I
think
this
is
fresh
ground
for
us,
because
we
haven't
had
one
like
this
to
the
best
of
my
knowledge,
so
I
just
want
to
assist
with
setting
a
precedent
that
can
facilitate
debate.
D
This
may
through
you
perhaps
to
the
director
or
through
you
through
the
director
to
libya.
If
that's
all
right,
could
I
just
get
confirmation
that
councillor
toza's
involvement
was
limited
to
receipt
of
the
letter
and
that
there
was
no
involvement
for
him
or
his
office
past
that
point.
Thank
you.
F
Sorry
is
that
on
the
panel
was
advised
to
ignore
that
letter
in
their
assessment
of
the
grant.
D
D
D
Today,
we've
had
an
opportunity
to
seek
some
information
from
councillor
toza
from
the
city
solicitor
and
from
city
offices,
and
we've
clearly
established
that
councillor
toza
at
the
most
extreme
may
have
only
a
very
limited
interest
in
the
matter
and
one
that
can
be
managed
appropriately
through
the
council
process,
facilitating
his
participation
and
contribution
into
a
subject
matter,
which
he
has
extensive
knowledge
and
a
clear
passion.
L
The
motion
on
the
on
the
screen
right
now
notes
me
as
the
mover,
which
is
it's
actually
canceled,.
G
E
Thank
you,
mr
mayor.
As
council
of
worcester
pointed
out.
This
is
actually
a
new
situation
for
us
to
deal
with
and-
and
I
was
also
requested
for
support
a
letter
of
support,
and
it
just
took
a
request
from
the
office
back
to
ask.
Where
is
this
grant
application
process?
I
think
for
all
of
us
going
forward.
I
think
it's
just
cleaner
and
simpler
if
we
make
it
really
clear
that
if
you're
providing
a
letter
of
support
that
is
going
to
provide
a
conflict
for
you
in
this
room,
I'd
say
by
the
pub
test.
D
Opportunity,
of
course,
of
course,
look.
Thank
you,
mr
mayor.
I
think
this
is
an
appropriate
outcome,
because
councillor
toza
does
have
a
contribution
to
make
when
the
city
discusses
anything
to
do
with
arts,
culture
and
particular
live
music.
I
don't
subscribe
to
the
same
school
of
thought
as
counselor
patterson.
D
In
one
sense,
I
agree
it
is
much
cleaner
for
us
not
to
provide
letters
of
support,
but
sometimes
a
letter
of
support
is
required
when
a
project
requires
not
only
funding
from
council,
but
perhaps
majority
funding
from
another
level
of
government
and
the
state
government
or
the
federal
government
may
be
looking
to
us
as
a
council
to
signal
whether
we
support
a
project
when
making
their
decisions.
So
I
think
there
is
room
for
a
counsellor
to
support
cultural
activation
in
their
communities.
D
We've
just
seen
today,
councillor
taylor,
providing
a
significant
amount
of
funding
to
support
an
event
in
his
community,
we're
involved
in
supporting
arts
and
culture
and
events
in
our
space
and
at
the
end
of
the
day,
it's
all
right
pay
fun.
So
I
think
we
do
need
to
be
open
to
managing
conflicts
of
interest
to
facilitate
advocacy
from
us.
D
I
think
what
would
be
very
useful,
perhaps
just
to
provide
some
indeference
to
the
point
made
by
council
of
paterson.
I
think
in
future
the
city
officers
who
are
preparing
grant
applications
right.
They
should
perhaps
signal
to
applicants
in
the
first
place
that
they
may
consider
not
seeking
a
letter
of
support
from
divisional
councillors
and
then
that
way
we're
not
in
an
uncomfortable
position
as
local
representatives
when
we
may
elect
to
say
no,
if
that
signal
to
them
right
at
the
get-go.
D
I
think
that
allows
us
to
have
a
cleaner
process,
but
also
give
us
the
ability,
as
local
representatives,
to
weigh
in
if
there
is
state
and
federal
funding
on
the
line.
In
this
particular
instance,
I
think
we
get
the
balance
right
and
potentially
council
of
toes
as
an
opportunity
to
make
a
contribution
in
an
important
debate.
Thank
you.
A
Councillors,
council
voice.
I
just
want
to
make
comment
there
that
the
the
issue
on
the
grant
before
us,
which
we'll
get
into
debating
on
that
is
a
separate
issue
to
whether
or
not
the
letter
of
support
should
have
occurred.
A
Okay,
I
mean,
and
that
part
of
it
you
know,
council
has
got
to
make
up
their
own
mind
like
council.
Patterson
has
so
I
I
draw
councillor's
attention
to
on
the
procedural
motion.
It's
more
of
the
letter
support,
whether
whether
you,
whether
you
support
the
the
the
agenda
item
or
not,
it's
totally
separate,
that's
right,
yep,
so
councillors.
I
will
I'll
call
the
vote
on,
particularly
on
the
procedural
motion,
not
about
just
leave
that
on
the
table.
The
the
gender
item.
Okay,
so
those
in
favor
show
hands.
J
H
Out
there
sorry,
I'm
sorry
councillor
castro,
I
think,
was,
were
you
in
favour.
I.
H
A
J
Smear
yeah,
mr
mayor,
look,
I
think.
Obviously
this
is
a
well.
It
is
a
closed
session
item
and
of
course,
we
haven't
gone
into
close,
but
obviously
there
are
many
reasons
for
visitors
to
come
to
our
city.
But
if
we
can
attract
unique
visitors
through
a
diversity
of
cultural
offerings,
then
I
think
it's
something
that
that
needs
to
be
supported.
So.
A
J
Thanks,
mr
mayor,
as
I'm
saying
it's
anything
that
we
can
do
particularly
in
these
times
to
to
attract
unique
visitors
to
our
city
is,
is
something
that
I
I
like
to
feel
that
would
support.
This
is
a
really
good
initiative.
It's
the
first
time,
obviously,
that
we've
been
able
to
do
this
when
you
actually
look
at
the
the
entities
that
are
recommended
for
support
for
support.
J
They
are
all
well
known
to
council.
They
are
all
very
proven,
proven
operators
at
the
very
highest
level
in
the
in
the
creative
cultural
space,
there's
a
wide
ranging
list
of
projects
there.
So
it's
covering
music,
it's
covering
theater
physical
theater,
just
you
know
just
about
everything
is:
is
there
so
visual
arts
etc?
So
I'm
very,
very
confident
looking.
It
was
really
good
to
see
so
many
applications.
J
Obviously
we
don't
have
a
lot
of
detail
on
on
on
all
the
applications,
but
enough
there
to
give
me
confidence
that
the
officers
have
done
a
really
good
job
with
this.
So
I
I
think
it's
excellent
and,
and
hopefully
it
will
be
supported.
A
F
Some
questions
about
this
process,
we've.

A
Right,
16.5
councilworster,
you
move
the
motion.
You
like
to
speak
on
that.
D
D
Mr
mayor,
what
we
do
know
is
that
the
cultural
economy
actually
supports
jobs
and
employment
and
when
we
make
an
investment
into
the
space,
it's
not
just
for
art's
sake,
but
it's
also
to
support
enterprise
that
supports
families
and
assists
putting
food
on
the
table.
The
gold
coasters
involved
in
that
sector
and
following
the
endorsement
of
these
recommendations
today,
mr
mayor,
we'll,
have
an
opportunity
to
reflect
on
some
of
the
results
and
potentially
amend
future
rounds
of
this
important
program
to
put
an
even
greater
laser-like
focus
on
the
economic
return
and
visitor
exposure
piece.
D
The
reason
why
that's
important
mr
mayor
is
that
when
we
expose
the
greatest
number
of
people
to
our
cultural,
offering
we
build
the
greatest
possible
case
for
further
investment
and
when
we
actually
extract
economic
returns
for
our
investment,
we
build
goodwill
in
the
community
to
keep
on
making
those
investments.
So,
mr
mayor,
this
is
a
vote
of
confidence
of
made
in
good
faith
for
the
sector.
Hopefully
those
who
would
not
otherwise
be
in
a
position
to
offer
something.
D
Culturally
can
do
so
because
of
this
funding
to
support
our
recovery
from
covert,
and
I
hope
that
in
subsequent
rounds
we
make
sure
that
we
allocate
funding
where
it
will
have
the
most
impact
not
only
for
the
creatives
involved,
but
for
those
who
depend
on
a
vibrant
sector
to
support
employment.
Thank
you.
A
A
So,
mr
acting
ceo,
what's
what's
the
story
on
this?
Do
we
just
ask
questions.
A
H
This
is
legislation
we're
required
to
table
the
financial
statements
of
the
council
and
also
the
controlled
entities
once
the
first
council
meeting
after
they're
signed,
so
the
hotter
financials
have
now
been
signed.
So
this
is
simply
tabling
for
noting
the
financial
statements
from
honor.
