From YouTube: DevoWorm Summer of Code weekly meeting, 6-7
Description
Meeting for Week 5.
A
B
A
It's
the
repository
G
sought
2019
and
if
you
go
into
that
again
to
that
repo
go
to
the
projects
Summer
of
Code
project
and
there
are
issues,
so
we
have
several
issues
that
are
already
done:
python
scripts
for
plug
in
setting
up
environment
preparing
slide.
So
we
have
the
presentation
is
done
and
now
and
we'll
talk,
we're
gonna
do
we're
gonna
schedule
times
for
paper
presentations,
but
we'll
get
to
that
later
in
the
meeting.
So,
first
of
all,
we'll
go
from
done
towards
the
left
words
in
progress
in
progress.
A
A
Yeah,
sometimes
your
system
issues
with
it
and,
what's
even
worse,
sometimes
you
get
depending
on
what
you
have
in
the
notebook.
Sometimes
you
get
issues
on
github,
but
I
think
this
is
part
of
the
best
solution.
I
know
OSHA
has
made
are
using
collab,
so
it's
a
little
bit
different,
but
I
think
you
know
Jupiter
should
be
fine.
B
B
B
B
A
B
A
B
B
A
B
A
A
That
you
great
okay,
good
job
I,
think
you're
coming
along
we've
been
chatting
in
slack.
So
that's
that's
good!
We've
been
kind
of
working
through
things
and
you've
got
I
think
a
handle
on
the
data.
You
know,
if
you
have
any
other
issues.
Let
me
know,
let's
see
where's
Arthur.
Now
we
move
on
duh,
which
wall
and
his
project.
A
B
A
B
A
A
B
B
A
A
A
A
B
B
A
A
B
A
A
So
well,
that's
good
I'm
glad
to
see
that
everyone's
coming
along
and
everything
and
the
next
issue
I'd
like
to
talk
about
is
the
paper
presentations.
So
we
mentioned
my
other
group
is
doing
paper
presentations
starting
this
week.
They've
picked
papers
on
pretty
broadly
related
to
their
project,
a
lot
of
like
cognitive
science
and
neuroscience
worried
stuff,
so
they're
gonna
do
each
week,
they're
gonna
do
a
presentation.
A
We,
you
know
make
the
paper
available
at
the
beginning
of
the
week,
then,
by
the
end
of
the
week
at
the
meeting,
the
person
will
present
a
you
know,
paper
presentation
about
ten
to
fifteen
minutes,
and
so
this
presentation
would
be
like
you
know,
you'll
take
the
paper
and
you'll
you
know
have
a
slide
or
two
on
the
main
idea.
So
what
is
the
main
idea
of
the
paper?
What's
their
method
that
they're
introducing
I?
A
Think
in
your
case
your
case
is
because
it'll
probably
be
machine
learning
paper,
the
you
know
that
beginning
part
will
be.
You
know
what
is
the
main
ideas
paper?
What
methods
are
they
using
or
introducing,
and
then
you
would
you
know
next
step-
would
be
to
bring
some
graphs
from
the
paper,
put
them
into
slides
and
then
describe
the
the
figures
to
the
group.
So
you,
you
know,
you
might
have
a
you
know.
Usually
the
figures
are
pretty
complicated.
A
You
know
they
put
out
a
figured,
shows
the
performance
of
the
algorithm
or
you
know
some
feature
that
they're
you
know
working
on.
You
know
what
is
what
does
this
graph
mean?
You
know,
that's
that's
what
the
main
idea
is
there,
because
it's
not
always
apparent
when
you
read
the
paper
with
the
graphs
mean
and
then
the
last
part
of
the
presentation
would
be.
What
are
the
broader
implications
of
this
method?
You
know,
what
could
it
be
used
for?
A
Could
I
use
it
in
my
own
work,
you
know,
can
I
think
of
a
reason
why
I
might
want
to
apply
to
my
data.
It
could
be,
you
know,
open
worm,
it
could
be
anywhere
in
the
world.
So
that's
the
idea
behind
the
presentations
like
I,
said
about
10
to
15
minutes
and
based
on
your
responses.
I
got
one
paper
already
from
Oswal
and
this
is
from
Jeff
Hinton's
group,
and
this
is
imagenet,
so
he's
really
interested
in
this
paper
and
I'll
post
the
paper
in
slack.
A
They
all
already
posted
it,
but
I'll
post
it
for
everyone
in
slack
and
as
well
will
will
read
the
paper
through
and
he'll
go
through
and
put
this
presentation
together
and
then
well
learn
something
from
that.
Even
though
we'll
read
the
paper
beforehand,
he'll
tell
us
why
it's
important,
and
so
we
need
to
do,
for
this
is
two
things.
First,
we
need
to
all
have
papers
and
then
we
need
well.
I
can
schedule
the
presentations
first
and
then
I
need
to
have
papers
from
you.
A
So
I
only
have
a
paper
from
whose
wall
currently
has
met
and
the
pnei
have
not
sent
me
anything
yet.
But
you
can
send
me
something.
It's
anything.
That's
interesting
to
you,
probably
within
machine
learning,
but
it
doesn't
have
to
be
so
I
think
it's
actually
quite
easier
schedule
here,
since
usual
is
the
first
one
to
send
a
paper
out.
You'll
get
the
first
presentation
slot
so
our
meeting
times
here
we
go
on
order
of
our
meetings
and
next
week's
gonna
be
difficult,
because
I'm
gonna
be
traveling
at
the
end
of
the
week.
A
A
Okay,
I'll
I'll,
put
out
a
time
when
I'm
ready
to
go.
I'll
have
to
do
my
other
group
on
Sunday
too,
because
I'll
be
kind
of
coming
back
on
Saturday
so,
but
that
so
that
will
be
next
week
will
be
Sunday
instead
of
Friday
and
then
the
rest
of
our
meetings
will
be
Friday.
Just
so
we're
we're,
but
I
think
for
the
in
terms
of
the
scheduling,
then.
A
And
I
think
that
would
be
usual
can
go
on
the
16th.
So
you
have
a
little
over
a
week
to
put
your
slides
together
and
then
you
present
our
verb.
Then
then
we'll
have
another
meeting
on
the
21st
I
know
it's
a
little
short,
but
you
know
it's
just
a
weekly
meeting
and
I
think
do
you
want
to
go
on
the
21st
Vinay.
A
B
B
Well,
it's
proposal
method
like
what's
the
state
of
their
in
the
industry.
So
last
week
I've
come
across
an
article
from
Facebook
blog.
They
discussed
the
idea
right.
The
methods
were
very
there
following,
so
how
they're,
how
they're
solving
the
problem
of
for
all
services
to
such
huge
numbers
and
all
so
I
thought
that
was
interesting.
A
A
You
know
the
blog
post
is
usually
not
very
deep,
but
they're
good
for,
like
you
know,
here's
this
method,
here's
this
method,
I
mean
you
know
whatever
you
can
find
out
about
it.
I,
don't
know
what
the
act
if
the
methods
are
like
your
proprietary
work,
but
you
know
just
you
know
just
you
might
have
to
do
a
little
bit
of
research
on
it
to
to
find
out
what
they're
talking
about,
but
that
would
be
very
useful
for
us.
B
A
Yeah
we
we
can,
we
can
talk
about
a
natural
language
processing.
That
would
be
interesting
too.
I
think
it's.
You
know
we're
kind
of
focusing
an
image
processing
here,
but
there
are
other.
You
know
there
other
things
going
on
in
the
field
that
especially
like
they're
all
connected
so
like
you
know,
there's
this
idea
of
semantic
image
classification.
But
you
know
semantic
means
a
lot
of
different
things
do
on
different
people,
apparently
so
that
I
mean
literature
but
I.
Think
if
you
yeah
that
could
be
useful
to
understand
language
as
well.
B
B
B
A
Don't
think
if
you
want
to
meet
with
them
privately
or
if
you
want
to
meet
with
them
and
a
one-on-one
meeting,
you
know
you
can
schedule
something
you
can
send
them
your
Skype
ID.
If
you
want,
we
usually
meet.
Don't
gue
in
this
in
this
platform.
Google
me.
If
we
do,
our
weekly
diva
were
meetings
on
Monday
I
think
you
might
have
invited
you
to
that.
That's
the
case
we
would
just
meet
here.
A
We
usually
don't
go
into
Skype,
but
if
you
want
to
make
your
Skype
address
available,
sometimes
you
have
to
change
over
to
Skype,
because
this
environment,
isn't
you
know
that?
Doesn't
it
isn't
always
a
crystal
clear
and
we've
had
that
problem
a
couple
times,
but
you
know
I
think
with
you
know,
I
think
you
know
only
mail
use
some
stuff.
You
wanted
to
share
some
papers,
I
know,
and
if
you
want
to
meet
with
them
one-on-one
then
you
can,
you
know,
send
them
your
Skype
ID.
A
If
you're,
not
you
know,
if
you
just
want
to
do
the
weekly
meetings,
then
you
know
we'll
dose
to
the
weekly
meetings
and
if
we
run
into
problems
well,
you
know
you
can
give
us
her
Skype
ID,
so
I
don't
mean
you
know
after
I.
Don't
think
you
have
to
respond
his
email
unless
you
have
some
specific
questions,
I
think
he
just
likes
to
email
people.
He
collaborates
with
to
you
know
kind
of
give
them
an
introduction
to
his
work.
A
A
B
A
Very
good
I
hope
you
guys
have
a
good
week.
I'll
see
you
on
slack
and
then
I'll
find
a
time
for
Sunday
meeting,
because
I
will
not
be
here.
I
will
not
be
available
Friday
at
a
regular
time,
so
I'll
I'll
schedule
that
pretty
soon
and
then
as
well,
we'll
be
presenting
on
that
day.
His
paper
and
I'll
send
the
paper
out
to
everyone
in
the
slack
Channel.
