had
been
waiting
for
this
proposal
to
be
up
for
review
for
a
while
well
for
our
youtube
viewers.
So
as
per
the
description
provided
in
the
proposal,
the
poster
is
a
ridiculously
simple
general
purpose:
social
media,
smart
contract,
documented
in
july
this
year,
eap,
3722,
is
up
to
be
moved
to
the
review
status,
which
means
it
is
open
for
editors,
peers
and
community
review.

I
know

I
have
a
bit
of
a
an
odd
pathway,
kind
of
into
into
ethereum
I
in
a
previous
life,
I
played
basketball,
professionally
and
kind
of
in
in
2016
around
the
dao.

this
gradual
transition
from

basketball
to
full-time
kind
of
ethereum
and
have
have
won
a
whole
bunch
of
different
hats
in
the
space,
from
kind
of
community
management
to
kind

growth

marketing

it

has
one

know

more
comments

code
by
a
long

for

broadcast

intent
was
to

application
ideal
case
we'd
like
to
get
to
a
point
where
we
can
have
a
a
subgraph
or
some
kind
of
indexer
that
actually
aggregates
indexes
for
each
network,

accounts
could
kind
of
choose
to
post

any
network

an
application
would
be
able
to
consume
and
display
posts
from
any
network
as
of
right
now.
That
would
mean
all
of
that
happening
in
the
front
end.

a
bit
heavy
for

being,

work
going
on
to

of
progress
towards
enabling
that

always

better
user
experiences

avoid

gas
costs,

motivation

really

recognition
that
there

networks

exist

gas
costs
are
effectively
not
an
issue,
and
so
there's
not
a
need,

less

a
need

people
think
to

putting

avoid
the

a
transaction

post
and
so

probably
the
most
complained
about
lack
of
a
feature
on
twitter
is
the
lack

edit
button,

first
ways
to
simulate
edit
here,
but
I
think
kind
of
edits
at
its
core.
There's
like
a
deeper
question
here
about
social
media,
which
is
people
like
being
able
to
delete
their
tweets.
For
instance,
they
wrote
it
when
they
were
drunk.
They
were
tired.

it's
a

problem

philosophically

the
way
that

tend
to
view
it
is
that,
like
once,
you
put
something
out
onto

internet,
there's

good
chance

of

got

open

on
polygon

on
ethereum
mainnet.

got
sushi

bunch
of
they

bunch

chains.

don't
know
that
I

use
cases

at
least
my
instinct
would
be
that

commute
lines
of
communication
inside
one
platform
that's

blockchains

useful.

was
an
interesting
post

twitter
recently,

recently
about
the
need
for
nft
marketplaces
to
have
some
level
of
messaging
in
them,
and
I
see
that
wearable
yesterday
now
it's
a
rolling
feature
like
that.

interesting

case,

could
imagine
like
so
we
already
have
this
forum
kind
of
proof

concept,
and

can
imagine
embedding
something
like
that
into
a
marketplace.

know
that's
attached

references.

any
any
nft,
that's
on
this
marketplace,
and
so
it
gives
effectively
a
message
board
to

any

piece
of
art

alternatively,

way
to

facilitate
messages
to
to
users.

context

that
platform,
I
guess
yeah,
depending

the
type
of
messages
it's

we
talked

not
the
right
technology

something
like
waku
makes
more
sense
if

trying

go
fully
decentralized

think
if,

the
use
case
is
kind
of
message
board
and
where
you
want
it
to
be,

those
messages
to
be
persistent,
then

see

useful

that

that

fact

and
it's

intended

exist

any

itself

proposal
is
deployed
on
the
multiple
network
using
this

singleton
factory,
but
unfortunately,
this
proposal
is
in
the
statement
status.
Maybe
due
to
long
inactivity,
I'm
wondering
what
do
you
think
of
the
singleton
factory
proposal?

this
actually
came
up
in
a
chat
earlier
this
week.
Why
I
didn't
use
hard
hat
deploy
for
this
and
instead
had
used
a
a
kind
of
custom
script
that
makes
use
of
the
singleton
factory
and
it's
I
guess,
a
bit
two-fold
one,
because
when
I
first
wrote
it,
I
don't
think
hard
hat
deploy
was
a
thing,
or
at
least
wasn't.

of
widely
used
yet
and
and
twofold
just
I
guess,
old
habits
die
hard
when

think
about
deploying
something

a
deterministic

the
singleton
factory
is
something

limit

there's
two
ways
you
could
handle
that
one
is
like
if

you
say,
had
a
a
shared
subgraph

and
then
populates
the
application
state

this
kind

public
twitter-like
application.

could
either
have
the
sub-graph
enforce
that
character
limit

you
could
have
the

individual
clients

pros

cons

implementation

free

seen
that
generally
evm
based
blockchain
use

eips
to
implement
on
their
blockchain
to
enable
support
to
the
user,
and
this
is
an
open
source
ecosystem.
People
are
free
to
choose.

interested
in
learning.
As

author,
do
you
see
this
proposal
being
helpful
for
other
evm
or
l2
chain.

would
imagine
that
the
only
cases
where
it's
useful-
or
I
shouldn't
say
the
only
the
cases
that
it's
obviously
useful
on
mainnet-
are
things
like
contract
accounts,
say
like
a
dows
account
being
able
to
to
broadcast
something
to
the
world.
So
it's
like
in
in
that
case,
maybe
there
is
there
is,
is
enough
value
in
in
the
account
being
able
to
kind
of
provably
post
its
own
thing,
that
it
can
kind
of
justify
the
gas
cost
of
that.

But
I'd
say
for
the
vast
majority
of
users
this,
especially
if
they're,
using
an
eoa
as
opposed
to
a
contract
wallet.
There's
this
very
little
value
or
there's
this
relatively
little
kind
of
increase
in
value
for
posting
it
on
mainnet,
as
opposed
to
posting.
It
say
on
a
layer
2
where
they
can
get.
You
know
roughly
the
same
security
assumptions
and
orders
of
magnitude
cheaper
to
to
post.
You
know.

if
you
were
to
go
and
post
it
on
optimism
or
arbitrage
or
zk
sync,
it
would
cost
you
much
much
less
and
yeah.

have
comparable
security
assumptions
and
comparable.
I
guess
data
availability
assumptions
on
those,

I
know
I
guess
to
talk
about
that
succinctly.
Yes,
I

think
probably
l2
is
a
the
place
where
this
would
get
used
mostly.

question

one
more

is
this
suggestion.

found
it
in
the
discussion

channel

integrate
ens,

assign
username
to
users,
which
is
good,
because
it's
going
to
be
used
in
one
three
project
out
of
curiosity,
other
than
user
sign
in
is
there
any
other
advantage
that
is
being
considered
for
integrating
ens
to
ui.

put
a
ton
of
thought
into
it.
Honestly
I
I
mean,
I
think
the
the
obvious
use
case
is
just
using
dns
as
as
one
route
to
populating
kind
of
user
profile.
So
if,
if
the
user
already
has

profile

they've
already
certain
avatar
and
username
and
or
kind
of
any
other
details
on
on
that
profile,
then
you
know
being
able
to
just
use

preference
towards

caveat

are
wanting
to
see

any
number
of
layer,
twos
and
you
know,
potentially
have
accounts
that
are
not
not
not
the
same
as
on
on
layer
one.
You
know
not
not
an
ela
or
an
account
that
doesn't
own
an
ens
name.

think
forcing
them
to
to
go
to
layer
one
and
purchase
an
ens
name
and
kind
of
have
multiple
main
net
contracts.
To
set
up
a
profile
in
ens
is
probably
sub-optimal,
which
I
think,
and
until
such
a
point
as
ens
is
kind
of
widely
available
on
pretty
much
anywhere.
That
you
would,
you
would
want
to
use
poster.
There
may
need
to
be
alternate
options
for
kind
of
creating
and
populating
a
profile,
but
yeah.

quickly

slower,

ridiculously
simple,

don't
think
there's
a
huge
amount
to
review
yeah

it
would
be
probably
fine

move
it
through
really
quickly.

comments

wait

ready
to
be
moved
to
the
last
call,
there
would
be
a
duration
of
14
days.

a
wait
time
that
is
needed
there
before
we
can
move
it
to
the
finance
status.
