they've

run

Mike
Novogratz,
one

the
u.s.
VC
partners
just
came
out
and
said:
hey
we're
putting
you

a
combined
30
million
dollars
into
good
money,
which
is
a
new
online
banking
platform
that
the
people
who
deposit
into
the
bank
actually
own.

if

there
I
deposit
some
money
into
the
bank,
I
will
get
at
least
one
share
of
equity.
Real
equity
in
the
bank,
so
I
own,
it
I'm
entitled
to
you,
know,
determine
what
happens
with

profits
and
they're
really
trying
to
make
a
bank
that's
actually
owned
by
the
people
who
use
the
bank
rather
than
just
a
few
people
at
the
top.
So
it's
a
pretty
interesting
concept
that
I
think
has
some.

pretty
broad
implications
for
how
it
disrupts.

banking
space

thought.

They
are
already

they
take

percentage
of
the
money
that
they
have

they'll
invest

profits,
and
other
businesses,

petroleum,

good

good

distribution

stakeholders

banking
platform,

would

users

profits

the
bank
and

the

no

ATM

potential

its

crazy,

about
it,
so

only

they
coming
in
there
shaking

banking
model,

gonna
be

percent
interest

savings
account

more
than
you're
gonna
get
in
the
average
account
you
open
it.
Some
you
know
too
big
to
fail
bank,
but
what's
also
cool
about
this
is

mean
they
can
extend.

the
control
of

equity
holders,

imagine
will
be
tokens
on
some
kind
of
US
blockchain.
They
can
extend
that
to
so
many
other
things.
They
could
say:
hey
vote
on
this
new
mobile
wallet,
design,
vote

CEO
or
a
board
of
directors
or
whatever
they
can
really
give
control
of
this
bank
to
the
people
if
they
wanted
to
so
I'm
super
excited

see
what
happens
with
it.

think
it's
interesting.

that,
because
that's
actually
the
utility
of
this
equity
token
is,
it
gives
you
voting
rates
for
the
sustainable
causes
that
the
profits
are
redistributed
to.

whenever
I'm

these
green
energy
type
like
sustainable
environment
projects
or
companies,
the
token
holders
who
are
equity
owners
in
this
online
bank
are
the
ones
who
determine
where
that
money
actually
goes.

to
have
a
bank

not

recommend

you

people

at
kind

the
technology

we've
been
building

technology

platform

allows

space
and
our
next
plans

make

in
terms

we
build

the
investors

prepped

off

need

would

pitch

the

pitches,

really
tugged

heartstrings

judges

was

semicircle

probably
four
to
five
straight
hours
of
just
hearing
people's
pitches.

to
pitch

first
group
of
judges
which
is
nerve-racking
enough,
and
then
you
have
to
wait
another
hour
and
a
half
and
then
reap
itch
it
again

whole
nother
set
of
sort
of
QA
and
questions,

so
throughout
the
whole
process.

hear
everyone
else's
pitch
and
you
know
that's
that's.
What
got
me
excited
about.
You

sort
of
being
around
these
very
our
projects.

mean.
Luckily,
let

just
go
ahead
and
throw
this
out

for

play

all

was

really
sharp
teams,
