hobby

space,
through
EOS
and
so
I
read
the
EOS
white
paper
and
like
many
people
back
in
2017,
2018
I
just
saw
the
Resurgence
of
the
space
with
Gen
3
blockchains,
coming
about
offering
a
level
of
scalability
that
we
hadn't
seen
before
with
the
Gen
2
blockchains,
and
so
that's
when
I
decided
it
was.

We
were
put
in
place
after
three
and
a
half
years
or
so
of
the
main
net
running
yes,
not
having
a
foundation
or
having
a
central
body,
essentially
to
help
coordinate
some
resources
and
doesn't
want
to
be
of
of
a
voice
for
the
network

in
that
year
and
a
half
we've
done
a
complete
turnaround
of
where
EOS
was
and
where
EOS
is
going.
So
I
guess
we'll

talking
about
that
other
exciting
initiatives

efficiency
of
this
network
is

performing,

everyone
knows
that
as

launched
in
2018
and
the
foundation
was
launched
two
years
ago.

EOS
blockchain
is
a
layer,
one
blockchain.

that
addresses

scalability
issues.

we
know
one
of

key
challenge
in
blockchain
is
the
scalability
issue
and
the
EOS
box

widely
used
for
by
developers
to
build
like
blockchains
applications
and
also
ecosystems,

there
are
a
lot
of
use
cases
for

us,

decentralized,

like
defy
and

GameFly,
and

lot

describe
delegated
proof
of
stake
model
so
I
think
that's
one
of
the
very
key
mechanism
for
the
EOS
to
economic,
and
so
you
can
you
elaborate
that
in
the
easier
understanding
way
to
our
audience,
please.

Sure
so
most
people
are
comfortable
with
proof
of
stay,
which
is
simply
the
amount
of
tokens
that
you
hold
or
the
I
guess.
The
amount
of
stake
in
the
network
that
you
have
gives
you
a
certain
advantages
or
gives
you
gives
you
a
role
within
the
ecosystem
and
with
delegated
proof
of
stake.
It's
very
similar.
You
have
a
certain
amount
of
stake
in,
in
this
case
the
EOS
tokens
that
you
can
delegate
to
somebody
else.

The
governance
rights
and
the
governance
rights
are
essentially
to
determine
which
nodes
will
be
the
validators
of
the
network
and
what
that
does
essentially
is
it
it
extracts
or
it
separates
the
function
of
the
utility
of
the
token
from
a
governance
perspective

then
the
the
financial
value
of
the
token.
So
you
can
still
be
in
charge
of
your
own
token.
You
still
are
in
the
possession
of
your
own
token,
but
the
votes
or
the
the
node
that
you
are
assigning
to
essentially
represent
that
token
can

delegated
out
to
somebody.

return,

you
believe
that

provides
value

the

computational

affords

EOS
to
have

model

to
run
nodes
in
a

more
nodes
that
are

capable
of

power

the

support
a
more
efficient

energy

highlight
several
of
the
recent
achievements
and
then
Milestone
that
the
ERS
Network
Foundation
is
recently
I'm,
developing
or
working
on.

A
good
question
so
there's
a
few
things
that
come
to
mind.
We
just
released
the
evm
eos's
evm
on
April
14th,
so
it's
been
about
a
month
and
a
half.
Now
we've
been
running
for
about
six
weeks.
It's
been
really
great
opening
the
door,
so
I'll
talk
about
evm
a
little
bit
later,
I'm
sure
as
well,
but
that
has
been
really
good
to
open
the
door
to
other
developers
that
have
been
traditionally
coding
on
on
solidity
or
have
been
coding
in
the
in
the
evm
ecosystem,
and
so
our
evm
white
performant,
the
same
thing.

What
you
mentioned
earlier:
low
gas
costs
very
reliable
performance,
and
so
we've
opened
that
up
six
weeks
ago,
we've
seen
some
tremendous
I
guess
inflow
with
new
developers,
new
applications,
and
we
can
touch
upon
that
a
little
bit
later.
But
that's
been
really
good
outside
of
that
evm.
So
we
did
release
six
weeks
ago.
The
first
version
on
mainnet
and
we've
already
done
an
upgrade,
and
that
came
out
yesterday,
but
essentially
that
the
release
is
today
and
we'll
touch
upon
that
a
little
bit
later
as
well.
But
it
provides
new
functionality
to
the
evm.

In
particular,
yield
plus
integration,
which
is
an
interesting,
defy
initiative
and
essentially
Financial
reward
initiative.
We
also
have
the
roadmap
to
the
evm,
which
will
be
released
shortly
and
that'll
give
the
users
a
sense
of
where
we're
going
with
this
EDM,
which
functions
we're
going
to
add
to
it
within
the
next.

Let's
say
six
to
12
months,
so
that
people
can
see
what
it
is:
we're
integrating,
how
we're
catching
up
to
some
of
the
eips
that
are
already
out
and
which
components
we're
actually
taking
the
lead
on
in
terms
of
eips
and
where
we
we
want
to
materially
impact
that
space
as
well.
So
the
evm
space,
because
there's
some
really
interesting
work
being
done
and
now
EOS
will
be
able
to
contribute
to
that
work
within
within
that
world.

already
have
an
office,

already
have
staff,
but
then
for
for
more
for
Eos
reasons
than
just
expanding
that
market,
because
we
believe
it
is
an
important
Market,
I've,
even
applied
for

residency.

essentially

work

spend
even
more
time
there
there's
a
there's,
a
regulatory
body
that
we've
been
working
with
as
well
to
be
able
to
open
up
EOS
to
a
new
market
that
has
traditionally
not
been
opened

EOS

terms

retail

that's
already

also
under
the
works
and
it's
ideally
coming
out
in
the
next
month

two.

that's
kind
of
something
special
and
the
last
thing
I'll
mention
is
a
legal
update.
When
the
foundation
was
created,
one
of

first
mandates
that
we
got
from
the
EOS
token
holders
was
to
bring
the
previous
I
guess,
Shepherd
in
a
way
to
account
and
that
that
is
being
block
one,
and
that
was
one
of
the
first
files,
one
of
the
first
tags
that
we
got
and
so
there's
been
movement
on
that
front.

this
process
internally

given

mandate

action
that

available

we're
focused
on

upgrade
yesterday,

just

clarify

what
has
changed
really

evm
essentially
is
a
window.

door
that
you're
opening
a
window
that
you're
opening
to
a
whole
new
ecosystem
and
what
was
important
for
us
when
the
launching
evm
was
to
make
sure
that
our
evm
was
full
RPC
compatible.
What
that
means
in
layman's
terms
is
that
for
developer,
that's
been
building
on
ethereum
or
that's
been
building
on
a
evm
compatible
chain.

amount
of
work
that
is
required
on
there

to
be
able
to
deploy
the
same
smart
contract
and
the
same
application
onto
EOS
is
essentially
minimal.

oversimplifying

but
think

just
you

double

as
easy,
as
that
with
that
full
RPD
compatibility
and
so
what's
changed
for
us
is
an
inflow
of
new
developers
and

applications
that
now
have
access
to
the
EOS
ecosystem.

five

that's
Ultra
performance,
extremely
low
cost,

reliable,

so
you
get
access
to
the
best
of
both
worlds
in
a

what's
changed
since

new
applications

within

first
three
weeks.

new
applications

more
foundational
components

the

type

we've
seen
in
other
ecosystems

bottlenecks
that

you

to
cross
chain

build
something

a
bigger

them

let
developers
well
painlessly,
bridge
to

appreciate
the
U.S
ecosystem

enjoy
the
SDK
and

all

resources

barrier

entry

project

cost

doing

is
extremely

so
people
turn

investment
in
a
way

we've
built,

it's

public
funded,

initiative
on
the
EOS
Network,

it's

enf,

EOS
Network
Foundation,

runs
the
RPC
nodes

developed
the
code
that
open
sourced
it
auditing
Etc,
so
everything
is,
is
from
the
network
in
a
way
from

foundation,
and
one
of
the
things
that
we
wanted
to
do
is
was
ensure
that
we've
had
a
few
pivots
along

way.
But
what
we
ended
up
with
is
the
underlying
gas
token.

underlying
token
that's
used
when
using
PDM,
that's
abstracted
away
from

users
is
eos.
What
that
does
is
it
leverages
the
utility
of
the
EOS
token
it
pays
for
the
gas?
In
the
background,
it
pays
for
the
network
resources
essentially

the
way
that
we've
built
that
in
terms
of
tokenomics,
is
the
more

evm
is
used.

more
EOS
we
lock
up
in
in
a
contract
and
the
idea

those
EOS
think
of
them
as
being
burned
or
they

formally

burned

they're
locked
up
in
the
meantime,
they're
currently
locked

the
best
burden
mechanism

terms

frequency

in

marketing

remain

idea

the
more

evm
is
used,
the
more
EOS

taken
out
of
circulation
and
the
more
deflationary
on

Tokyo
that
there
is,
and
we've
already
seen
that
within
a
short
period
of
time
through

evm,

EOS
network

accumulating
roughly
the
same
amount
of
EOS
tokens
law
as
the
other
mechanisms
that
we
have
on
the
network,
which
also
lock
up
tokens
which
is
called
Rex
and
so
Rex.

resource
exchange
takes
some
of
the
network.

case,
it's
the
opposite,

Burns

tokens,

one
of
them
is
a
benefit
to
all
token
holders
and

other
one
is
a
benefit

Token
holders

are
staking,

so
it's

both
of
them
do,
though,
is
ensure
that
the
token
has
really
good
alignment
of
incentives
for
the
end
users,

the
more
the
network
gets
used,
the
more
people
either
get
rewarded
directly

more
tokens

within

short
period
of

What
we're
talking

before
with
the
tokenomics
there's
one
initiative:
that's
not
necessarily

it
leads
into

adapt.
That's
why
I'll
mention
it

I
talked
about
Rex
and
how
you
can
lock
up
your
tokens
and
get
some
yield
from
there,
but
there's
an
initiative
specifically
created
for
yield
called
field
plus
what
the
network
does
is
through
the
foundation.
It
allocates
a
certain
amount
of
tokens
that
go
out
on
a
daily
basis
to
users
that
are
staking
in
particular
applications.

It's
called
D5
box
and
so
D5
box
has
multiple
different
protocols
under
it.
So
a
vault
a
swap
that
type
of
thing
and
basically
users
EOS
token
holders
who
are
leveraging
those
products
either
by
securing
their
tokens.
They
get
a
a
steady
stream
of
yield
in
part
that
comes
from
the
network
directly.
So
it's
very
stable.
It's
it's
very
predictable
and
the
base
is
quite
high,
so
it
adds
about
a
five
percent
yield
to
the
to
the
base,
let's
say
token,
as
well
as
then
being
complemented
by
whatever
that
application
provides.

So
think
of
the
network,
doing
a
B2B
with
d5ox
in
this
case
through
a
yoga
plus
initiative
and
then
D5
Bots,
which
is
the
application
Level.
They
do
the
b2c
with
a
client,
and
so
the
network
provides
up
to
five
percent
directly
to
and
then
the
application
complements
with.
Obviously
if
their
application
is
being
used
more
in
their
generating
fees,
they're
also
running
a
block
producer
on
the
network,
so
they're
generating
income
there.

massive
game,
and
basically
no
gas
fees
accounts,
are
abstracted
the
way.
Users
don't
even
know
that
they're
running
on
blockchain
and
that's
one
of
the
great
and
this
occurred
really
really
early
on
they've,
abstracted
away
all

blockchain
components,
because
users
can
create
an
account
using
web,
often
type.

And
in
the
background,
it
does
create
an
EOS
account.
You
are
leveraging
the
blockchain,
but
for
a
lot
of
non-blockchain
natives,
because
it's
abstracted
a
way
you
can
download
this
in
the
Play
Store
in
the

store,

then
you're
just
playing
a
game,
you're
just
playing
a
fun
game.
There's
in-game
tokenomics,
in-game,
Financial
incentives
all
running
on
EOS
and
that's
only
possible
because
EOS
has
extremely
high
throughput,
very
high
reliability
and
low
cost,
and
so
the
merger
there,
plus
the
software,
the
underlying
software
that
EOS
is
built
on.

stack
is
extremely
easy
to

powerful

get

idea
that
a
lot
of
people
are
leveraging
the
blockchain
without
even
knowing
it
and
it's
all
built
on
EOS
and
it's
all
running
in

the
background
that
creates
a
lot
of
usage
and
demand
on
chain
which
then
further

more
ability
to
the
Token,
which
then
again
increases
the
value
of
the
token
itself,
because
it
really
is
a
utility.

Shopify

people
who
don't

Commerce
platform
that
during

obviously
took
the

Shopify,
again
very
simple,
toggle
you're
able
to
timestamp
onto
the
EOS
blockchain.

but
with
some
blockchain
technology,
it's
easier
now
and
also
the
GameFly
project
that
you
just
mentioned,
I
think
it's
quite
interesting,
because
sometimes
they
need
to
the
projects
they
need
to
have
a
lower
entertainment,

as
the
one
you
mentioned,
it
seems
pretty
interesting
and
then
users
don't
even
aware
that
they
are
using
blockchain
when
they
are
having
a
lot
of
fun
as
well.

plan
is
like
a
mix
between
the
metaverse
and
Monopoly,
so
you're
buying
real
estate
in
the
metaverse
of
real
cities.
So
they
open
up
a
city
once
in
a
while
real
cities
in
the
world.

let's
say
they
opened
up
Rio
or
they
opened
up
London
and
the
metaverse.
It
looks
exactly
like
that.
City
and
you're
buying
lots
of
land
like

you're
playing
Monopoly
and
then
those
thoughts
of
land
increase

value,

then
you
can
trade

can
rent
your
properties

So
it's
a
really
fun

a
mix
of
the
metaverse
and
Monopoly

it's

constantly

tops
of
daily
active

constantly

top

ten
and
it's
only
possible
because
of
EOS-

games

this
now
coming
on
because
of
the
evm
as
well,

so
evm
abstracting
away
a
lot
of
the
inherent

Blockchain,
difficulties
we're
seeing
more
and
more
of
that,
come
through
because
of
the
evm
as
well.

think
of
hard
Forks
in
the
blockchain
space,
sometimes
it's
very
stressful
for
people
to
imagine
what
will

need
to
do.
If
there's
a
hardware,
do
I
go
left
or
do

go
right,

choose

Legacy
chain
or
the
newly
updated
chain
and
EOS
in
terms
of
a
text
that
we
wanted
to
somewhat
remove
that
from
consideration,
and
so
EOS
has
on
multiple
occasions
now
upgraded
in
a
software
fashion.

mean
by
Soft
Fork
is
that
the
node
operators
and
the
nodes
accessing
the
network
can
upgrade
at
their
own
pace,
and
so
there's
a
new
patch
that
comes
out.
It
brings
about
new
features.

don't

upgrade.

don't
want
to,
you
can
run
testing
on
your
own
upgrade
them
when
you're
ready.
We've
done
this
on
multiple
locations
over
the
years.

we've
also
done,
though,
is
the
typical
hard
Fork
scenario
that
people

everybody,
needs
to
upgrade
that,
because
the
network
itself
gets
a
full-on
upgrade,

beauty
with
EOS

the
user
is
never
aware
of
any
of

never
have
to
make

network

funds

is

capital

into
the
ecosystem

from

inflation
or

with
other
strategic
Partners

keep

that
as

prior
to
the
EMV

set

invest
in
the
ecosystem.

Asia
was
in
a
way
closed
to
blockchain
in
large
part
because

mainland
China
and
the
policies
there,
and
so
we're
extremely.

Hong
Kong,
reopening
officially

they've
been
slowly

been
