Dennis is a high school teacher teaching uh curriculum class right now on financial literacy, eden expansion group. However, it ended up being more of working with dennis on presentations for his class started with, like just financial literacy, about what is money versus currency and something that many of us in crypto can appreciate that difference and and then it got into well.

Why bitcoin or why cryptography as far as bitcoin being another alternative to digital scarcity, why it could be used for money and then why eosio came so that was a lesson on eosio versus just proof of work now we're at the stage. Finally, where we're he's going to do a lesson on fractal governance kind of the close out this semester, I guess it's a full year at this rate, so that's sort of what the primary thing has been.

As far as the working group itself, we do have weekly calls ping me if you want to to get invited to that. If you want to join in, we also have a children's book grade five oriented children's book about the fractal governance process and the political playoff process. That uh is pretty cute. I'd say: I'm biased, my wife wrote it, but whatever we also had a mellow pitch season, one and season two uh was there so funds from season one haven't been touched season. Two also have not been touched.

Obviously, so the intention there is, we will put up a bit of a website to make this all publicly and easily available, maybe get an illustrator for that children's book and make that free and available for pdf download and then use this as a kind of a starting point to share some ideas about fractal governance and then as well. We'll take all of the work that dennis has been doing just about this high school curriculum.

Essentially that started with crypto and what his money and all that jazz and led into for active governance, we're going to kind of refine a lot of his presentations. Some of the information is copywritten like so he used it for his class, but it's not something we should really share.

So we'll probably take some of those funds to get a more professional, illustrator or graphic designer to help us refine all that, so it can be publicly available and then just continue working on the sort of general topic and making this a repository of information and education for crypto eoc oscio.

Why is this technology so amazing, and that you know still doesn't seem to be very well known in the broader crypto community, as I think we can all attest to those who don't know eden had an original peace treaty that dan drafted and anyone who's joined eden has basically attested to have read and understood the peace treaty. It's part of that video onboarding script.

So in that piece treaty one of the rules, that's quite clever, that is from dan's book markle animals- is that any sitting, any sitting government or any sitting set of leaders can't just arbitrarily change the rules of the organization and then ratify them to be like actually ratified rules that people have to follow.

And the idea is this idea of sort of incumbent advantage where, if I'm in power, I'm going to change the rules so that I remain in power for the next election, whether that's gerrymandering, which is like your districts, to make sure that my team wins or whatever it might be right.

So I can change the rules so in eden in order for the rules to change the current set of leaders, so the chief delegates have to propose new rules and then the subsequent election needs to take place and those elected leaders have the opportunity to ratify the previously proposed changes to the peace treaty, or in this case it's a bylaw. We've changed it just to bylaws. So a lot of the discussion has been around these next set of cds.

Here are looking at what was proposed by myself and lovejoy and others and sort of like basically do they want to ratify these, and one of the big challenges is that what needs to be ratified requires code changes so eden as an organization.

Really I mean because it's an early experiment to any objective observer and we don't have we're not eden, is not functioning like a traditional organization would with clear roles, responsibilities and one of those roles would be maintaining the code, so that was previously left to sort of dan's, fractally team and since they're moving on to practically they're, not maintaining that code anymore.

So now eden as an org, that's one of the biggest challenges is: how do we now make these pick these bylaws and then ratify them, but then also the bylaws will be out of sync with the code, and so we've got to get that code fixed. So that's one of the big topics on their agenda. They motioned and created, and last meeting an office or a sphere as chuck uh macdonald calls it around a technical lead, so someone's going to take that role.

It does look like I know, edgar, who is the chief delegate, his dev team adenia. I do believe they're going to put forward a proposal. There is an rfp that's been issued as well within the eden members group. So any members, if you're a developer type or have a team and you're, considering that you might be able to take on that responsibility, I expect it would be paid. That's still not quite cleared how that's going to be done exactly but um yeah.

So that's kind of one of the big things is to get the code change and then the changes are each election will be three months apart as opposed to six months apart, and the dues to enter are no longer going to be ten eos.

But three eos and the final big change is that the head chief delegates, the amount of funds they receive is no longer five-ish times what a regular chief delegate would get so that head chief delegate spread, is now going to be equal to what the chief delegates get, and that of course needs to be taken in, like the code needs to be changed, so the treasury management part. So that's been a big one and then just a lot of aspirational statements from from the group about what they'd like to see eden turn into recognizing there's.

No continuity of knowledge when one set of chief delegates just kind of disappears and then that we didn't disappear, but the next come in and there's no real transition of power having these roles or these fears or whatever uh persistent, where maybe an individual, can have a role, but it's not tied to the election. That's something that I know: josh, seymour, myself and lovejoy.

You know we've talked about this for a long time like eight months ago or something last summer we were talking about this idea of using a hellonic system like a holocracy where there's roles within the organization and then eden leadership can basically vote to appoint individuals to those roles. That's a brief summary. I suppose not that brief.
