I'm
one
of
the
ecosystem
leads
here
at
protocol
labs
before
joining
protocol
labs.
I
was
inventor
first
at
rocket
internet
and
delivery
hero
and
then
later
with
the
venture
arm
of
the
boston,
consulting
group
in
new
york
city.
So
today
I'm
going
to
speak
to
you
about
our
amazing
accelerator
program,
and
in
doing
so
there
are
a
number
of
objectives
that
I
would
like
to
hit.
First,
why
do
we
invest
in
acceleration?
Secondly,
what
is
it
that
we're
doing?

What
are
the
common
pillars
of
what
it
is
that
we're
doing
and
then
how
you
can
get
involved?
So,
let's
get
started.
You
are
aware
that
protocol
apps
is
building
the
next
generation
of
the
internet.
We
have
been
doing
this
for
a
number
of
years
now
and
in
doing
so,
we
obviously
keep
our
ears
on
the
ground.
We
speak
with
builders,
we
are
builders
ourselves
and
we
make
sure
that
we
get
the
best
feedback
from
within
the
ecosystem
and
in
doing
so
and
speaking
to
the
builders
in
the
ecosystem.

There
is
a
theme
and
a
number
of
topics
that
we're
surfacing
and
that
we
felt
are
in
need
of
addressing
they're
best
summarized
as
a
common
type
of
friction.
So
on
one
hand
we
have
the
general
friction
that
comes
with
being
a
startup
founder
right,
so
builders
find
that
doing
a
startup
is
just
extremely
hard
keeping
the
lights
on
building
a
team,
finding
perfect
market
fit
and
hiring
out
the
right
talent
and
dealing
with
with
the
fundraise.

So
our
answer
is,
you
know
the
access
to
leads,
and
you
know
our
core,
as
the
ecosystem
working
group
is
to
create
a
series
of
highly
performant
and
founder-friendly
homes
that
we
refer
to
as
accelerators,
and
while
these
accelerators
are
extremely
diverse,
they're
spread
out
across
the
globe.
We
have
with
presences
in
nearly
every
continent,
we
do
have
a
number
of
recurring
topics
and
the
number
of
recurring
pillars.
I
would
call
them
that
are
the
same
across
acceleration
vehicle
and
the
first
one
being
mentoring
and
education
right.

So
we
do
lead
every
startup
that
joins
one
of
our
programs.
You
know
we
connect
them
to
mentors,
we
provide
them
the
necessary
education
around.
You
know
strategic
and
ux
design
product
build,
and
you
know,
engineering
best
practices
and
but
also
how
to
fundraise,
how
to
speak
to
investors
or
how
to
navigate
taxes
in
your
respective
jurisdiction
and
next
there's
the
engineering
support.

you
know,
pillars
when
the
going
gets
really
hard,
but
also
friends
that
you
celebrate
your
success
with
and
this
you
know
as
as
a
founder,
I
can
tell
you
that
you
know
the
emotional
aspect
of
being
a
founder
and
is
just
as
important
and
to
address
the
network
that
you
build
around.
You
is
is
one
of
the
most
crucial
factors
in
determining
your
success
as
a
startup
team.

epic
to
see
all
these
startups
being
here
meeting
those
people
very
diverse,
they're,
really
making
a
difference,
there's
actually
applications
that
we
would
like
to
deploy
right
away,
which
is
so
cool
that
we've
built
an
accelerator
and
it's
actually
solving
some
of
the
problems
that
the
ecosystem
needs.
Today.

Taxes
is
absolutely
like
a
tier
one
program
when
it
comes
to
business,
building
and
community
building
you're,
really
creating
an
ecosystem
of
founders
that
come
back
and
then
become
mentors,
and
I
think
us
coming
together
with
texters
as
like
this
amazing
player
in
the
web3
world
and
us
with
our
engineering
and
web
3
expertise.
I
think
amazing
things
are
going
to
happen
in
the
upcoming
month.

clear
pretty
quickly
that
techstars
was
the
world
standard
and
if
we
wanted
to
do
something
impactful,
I'm
a
big
believer
in
surrounding
yourself
with
people
who
have
been
there
are
going
to
where
you'd
like

go,
and
it
seemed
like
a
good
home
for
us.
So
now
we're
delighted
to
be
part
of
the
techstars
family.

now

frankly
become

all

now
that
you

an
appreciation

what
it
kind
of
feels
like

the

the

need

maintain
a

focus
on
maintaining

quality
and

the
founders

they

speaking

commenting

our
program

interesting
for
a
number
of
stakeholders
and
I'm
speaking
to
you
right
now,

that

is

the
