gabriel,
I'm
the
managing
director
of
tachyon
tachyon
is
an
accelerator

share
a
little
bit
more
about
our
partnership
with
our
friends
here
at
political
labs
and
how
we're
supporting
the
next
generation
of
world
changing
web
3
founders
and
our
next
evolution
as
we
morph
ourselves
into
a
global
network,
startup
ecosystem.

maybe
just
a
little
bit
of
context
for
those
of
you
that
are
not
familiar
with
tachyon
or
don't
know
who,
I
am.
Let
me
just
start
by
giving
a
little
bit
of
context
to
history.
So
tachyon's
genesis
actually
starts
within
the
consensus
mesh
network
and
as
a
network,
the
mesh
is
collectively
incubated
and
invested
in
more
than
100
projects
and
companies,
some
of
the
key
pillars
within
the
ethereum
ecosystem.

So
these
would
be
companies
like
infura
or
metamask
or
or
ceramic
or
pegasus
or
truffle,
or
bitcoin
or
open
law,
or
tribute
labs.
I
guess
now
and
what
we're
trying
to
convey
here
is
these
concentric
circles
that
the
core
consensus
mesh
network
is
just
the
beginning.
We
actually
think
of
ourselves
as
an
extended
meta
mesh
network.
So
as
we've
over
the
last
several
years,
spun
companies
out,
as
we
have
you
know,
created
a
seed
fund
called
the
dear
adventures
as
we
have
helped
to
bootstrap
incubate
begin
dowse.

You
know
our
network
actually
scours
much
larger
than
just
the
the
core
mesh
network.
You
know
we've
helped
to
bootstrap
and
and
incubate
some
really
key
components
within
the
web.

landscape-
and
I
guess
the
only
part.
The
only
point
here
is
that
this
really
gives
us
a
unique
and
holistic
view
of
the
broader
web3
landscape.

But
now
kind
of
like
zeroing
in
on
tachyon
tachyon
is
an
accelerator.
It's
for
the
most
ambitious
early
stage.
Well,
three
founders:
since
2017,
we've
we've
had
a
total
of
six
cohorts.
In
fact,
we
have
a
cohort
whose
demo
day
is
coming
up
at
the
end
of
this
month,
which
I'm
excited
to
share
with
all
of
you
a
little
bit
more
about.
We
have
over
80
active
alumni
companies
and
we've
had
the
pleasure
of
just
backing
mentoring,
accelerating
just
some
phenomenal
founders
in
the
web,
3
landscape.

It
was
steven,
it
was
actually
great
seeing
some
of
the
companies
in
your
earlier
slides
companies
like
huddle
0-1
companies
like
the
mona
but
we've
you
know,
we've
got
companies
like
juno
idol,
transact
outlet
paid
out
power,
limb,
secure
finance,
phallus,
parcel
coin
shift,
just
so
many
amazing
founders,
and
I
actually
want
to
highlight
a
few
that
have
come
out
of
our
respective
ecosystems
here
in
a
second.
But
we
accelerate
these
companies
through
a
couple
of
mechanisms.

So
twice
a
year
we
bring
together
founders
in
an
intense
12-week
sprint
to
really
help
them
hone
their
value
proposition
test,
some
of
their
key
assumptions
with
real
customers,
real
users.
It
can't
always
be
token,
go
up
right
at
the
end
of
the
day,
we're
building
technology
solutions
for
real
users
and
we
get
them
ready
for
the
next
phase
of
investment
and
growth.
So
we
give
our
teams
a
little
bit
of
seed
capital.
We
give
them
one-on-one
mentorship
with
a
vast
global
network
of
builders
within
the
ecosystem.

Entrepreneurs,
investors,
legal
experts,
we
put
them
through
rigorous
weekly
programming
to
really
help
them
navigate
and
move
through
the
product
maze,
all
the
members
of
the
core
tachyon
team
and
and
many
of
our
mentors
and
advisors
who
interact
with
our
founders
over
the
course
of
12
weeks.
We
have
all
we
are
either
currently
or
have
previously
been
founders
ourselves
right.
So
our
advice
is
not
theoretical,
it's
from
being
in
the
trenches
at
our
core.

are
company
builders,
and
so
our
advice
that
we
help
navigate
our
founders
through
is
very
much
rooted
in
that
we
help
weld
three
founders
on
their
path
to
becoming
high-growth
venture-backable
businesses.
The
program
culminates
in
what's
called
a
demo
day
where
our
founders
go
on
to
and
go
on
to
recent
capital
and
as
an
ecosystem,
our
numbers,
they
think,
speak
for
themselves.
So
again,
85
plus
companies.
Our
companies
have
gone
on
to
raise
more
than
150
million
dollars
at
close
to
a
billion
dollars
in
valuations.

network
now
spans
more
than
400
mentors
investors
and
industry
leaders
within
the
the
13
landscape,
which
is
really
kind
of
setting
up
our
next
evolution
to
support.
Even
more
founders
and
builders
within
our
ecosystem,
but
what
I
want
to
talk
about
is
our
partnership
with
our
friends
here
at
critical
labs,
so
at
tachyon
our
investment
thesis
has
always
been
that
web3
will
be
synonymous
with
the
internet.

So
I
think
everybody
in
our
respective
ecosystems
loves
the
mona
team.
I
think
they're,
absolutely
incredible.
The
mona
is
building
tools,
protocols
that
allow
the
metaverse
to
truly
become
a
real
thing.
I
think
I've
been
hearing
about
the
metaverse
for
six
or
seven
years
now
the
mona
is
the
first
company
that
I
saw
who
is
actually
moving
us
towards
that
they're.

They
have
recently
raised
a
15
million
round
and
a
62
million
valuation
and
their
backers
aside
from
tachyon
and
consensus
and
political
labs
are
also
flamingo,
dao,
polygon
and
so
many
others
so
definitely
definitely
check
them
out.
Second
company
that
I
want
to
highlight
from
our
respective
ecosystem
is
weather
xm
I
like
to
refer
to
them
as
helium
for
weather
data.

So
hopefully,
that
analogy
kind
of
sticks
but
weather
exim
is
building
the
fastest
growing
people-powered
network
of
weather
data
and
in
fact
today
they
are
the
world's
largest
weather
station
network.
So
this
is
hardware
and
software
coming
together
sitting
on
top
of
the
ipfs
and
filecoin
storage
networks
and
the
reason
why
this
business
is
so
exciting
and
we're
so
excited
about
them
is
they
are
building
a
hyper
local,
accurate
weather
forecast
network?
What
does
that
mean?
A
That
means
that
all
of
a
sudden
users
can
mine
their
local
data
or
store
their
local
data,
mine
weather
xm
tokens
and
be
incentivized
for
very
large
industries
to
use
that
weather
data
for
the
respective
industries.
So
we've
been
looking
at
the
space
for
a
while
this
this
network
has
the
ability
to
massively
disrupt
the
agriculture
space,
the
energy
markets,
maritime
markets.
Just
so
many
you
know
multi-trillion
dollar
markets,
so
we're
very,
very
excited
about
this
team.

this
company
they
came
out
of
our
last
cohort
out
of
the
last
falcon
launch
pad
accelerator
cohort.
They
recently
closed
a
five
million
dollar
siege,
fundraising
round
that
was
led
by
placeholder
vc.
So
we're
very
excited
about
them,
and
then
coin
shift
is
another
company
that
I
I
think
I
just
have
to
talk
about.
Super
super
in
love
with
this
company.
I
love
toronto.

He's
an
amazing
founder
coin
shift
is
a
seamless
and
elegant
ux
layer,
that's
built
on
top
of
gnosis
safe,
and
then
it's
got
a
data
management
layer
that
stores
data
inside
of
ipfs
in
order
to
store
that
information,
as
it
relates
to
operational
workflows
in
in
terms
of
treasury
management
for
protocol
dows.
So
that's
a
mouthful.
What
does
that
mean?
A
It
means
that,
as
instead
of
having
to
like
figure
out
how
to
navigate
gnosis
safe
as
a
dell,
you've
got
a
single
ui
layer
that
allows
dallas
to
focus
on
the
things
that
they
need
to
manage
their
dow
protocol.
So
like
team
and
committee
management,
analytics
payouts
portfolio
management,
accounting,
treasury
management,
we're
very,
very
excited
about
daos
and
we're
very
very
excited
about
this
new
primitive,
but
the
tool
set
needs
to
get
a
lot
better,
and-
and
so
we
are
our
big
believers
in
coin
shift.

we
are
not
the
only
ones.
They
recently

round
at
100
million
valuation
that
was
led
by
tiger
global
and
they're,
currently
processing
82
million
dollars
in
payouts
with
1.3
billion
dollars

crypto
assets
flowing
through
their
ui
layer,
so
very
excited
about
the
team.
I'm

tease
this
a
little
bit,
so
this
is
actually
alpha
leak
for
this
community.
We're
we're
not
we're
dropping

is
a
lot
happening
within
the
tech
and
ecosystem,
as
we
think
about
the
next
evolution.
You
know,
how
do
we
support
and
scale
even
more
ambitious,
aspiring
founders
that
are
building
within
our
ecosystems,
and
so
tachyon
is
much
more
than
an
accelerator.
We
are
building
a
full
ecosystem
to
support
our
founders
and
builders,
we're
building
what
I
like
to
think
of
as
the
next
iteration
of
tachyon,
a
networked
global
startup,
ecosystem
of
participant
contributors
and,
ultimately,
what
we
want
to
do.

been
founders
ourselves,
we
want
to
de-risk
and
open
the
surface
area
for
startups
so
that
every
company
begins
with
the
network
it
needs,
and
we
think
we
can
push
a
lot
of
that
value
out
to
the
the
network.
So
we
have
all
new
products
that
are
launching
around
pre-accelerator,
so
meeting
founders,
where
they
are
with
our
one
three
launch
school,
which
recently
launched
in
partnership
with
our
friends
at
protocol
labs
and
nurses
chain.
We
have
tachyon
tekken,
launch
sdk,
which
is
coming
soon.

That's
a
new
product
that
will
be
coming
out
in
this
fall.
We
have
obviously
our
core
accelerator
program,
we're
dropping
our
nft
to
the
attack
and
ecosystem
called
tachyon
sigma
pass.
This
is
your

We

now
begin
to
