folks
are
doing
great
work
around
sealing
as
a
service.
There's
some
engineering
work
happening
here
in
lotus,
there's
also
work
happening
on
the
filmline
team
and
with
other
groups,
so
that
you
can
decouple
the
kind
of
initial
sealing
of
committed
capacity
sectors
and
their
actual
onboarding,
and
you
know
adding
data
into
them
and
continuing
to
prove
them
over
time.
As
a
storage
provider.

We're
now
at
over
a
quarter
of
all
storage
providers
are
have
indexed
all
of
the
sectors
of
data
that
they're
storing
in
the
network,
which
is
great.
The
network
indexer
was
announced
in
the
beginning
or
launched
publicly
in
the
beginning
of
q2,
and
so
that
is
now
indexing
all
data
from
storage
providers
making
it
accessible
to
anyone
who's
looking
to
retrieve
this
data
and
also
connecting
that
into
things
like
the
ipfs
network,
so
that
you
can
now
query
indexers
as
an
ipfs,
node
and
figure
out
where
data
you're
looking
for
is
hosted.

There's
a
lot
of
work
coming
here,
as
I
mentioned,
increased
focus
so
boost
is
going
to
be
increasingly
focused
on
data
retrievability,
the
retrieval
markets
work.
They
now
have,
I
think,
15
million
retrieval
requests,
which
is
fantastic
for
a
test
nut
that
is
just
getting
off
the
ground,
so
great
to
see
saturn
and
a
number
of
other
retrieval
markets
groups
coming
to.

But
there's
been
a
ton
of
work
on
programmability
and
computation
over
the
past
two
quarters,
culminating
in
the
m1
milestone,
which
brought
the
fvm
reference
implementation
into
filecoin
mainnet,
which
shipped
on
july
6,
I
believe,
and
so
that
brings
the
the
core
runtime
and
the
new
gas
model
in
preparation
for
user
programmability
and
we're
targeting
end
of
q3,
beginning
of
q4
for
fvm2,
which
actually
unlocks
all
of
that
user.

there's
a
ton
of
stuff
here
go
and
go
and
check
out
the
video
for
actually
walking
through
each
of
these
individual
milestones.
But
if
you
look
at
the
next
slide,
this
kind
of
talks
about
those
three,
those
three
core
capacity
and
data,
onboarding
chunks,
the
data
retrievability
chunk
and
the
programmable
programmability
and
computation-
and
that's
really
a
differentiator
for
filecoin
as
a
network.

other
networks
have
programmability,
but
combining
that,
with
the
storage
of
data
and
being
able
to
compute
through
that
programmability
over
the
data
and
foulcoin
is
going
to
be
a
real
differentiator.

so
that's
something
that
we
are

building
towards

very
excited
to
offer
as
a
network.

into

already
live

should
you
care
so
there's
a
heap
of
things
that
it's
going
to
get
unlocked,
and
that
will
mean
more
demand
for

data
as
well
and
for
storage,
and
it

hopefully,
will
give
you
some
ability
to
manage

data

bit
better
as
and
maybe
some
more
revenue
streams
as
well.
So
things
like
the
database
and
data
dowse
is
something
that
we're
really
excited
about.
So
once
we
get
programmability
onto
well
compute
over
state
onto
the
far
coin
network.

means

can
start
kind
of
tokenizing
data
sets
or
we
could
capture
and
represent
the
value
of
these
data
sets.
Then
we
can
exchange
these
data
tokens
between
peers
and
request,
computation
services
or,
like
data
validation,
joins
between
data
analysis,
maybe
feature
detection
and
extraction
which
could
move
into
machine
learning,
which
I
think
is
a
pretty
exciting
path
forward,
but
obviously
way
in
the
future.

also
got
something
that
might
be
interesting.
Perpetual
renewal
of
storage
deals
the
ability
also
to
create
reputation,
systems
across
storage
providers,
so
people
can
see
that
transparently
and
verifiability
and
choose
who
they
want
to
store
with,
and
then
also
people
will
be
able
to
create
user-defined
policies.
They'll
also
be
things
like
being
able
to
upload
your
data
once
and
have
a
smart
contract
or
actor
deploy
that
to
multiple
storage
providers
without
you
needing
to
do
that
yourself
multiple
times.
So
that
could
be
of
interest
to
you
guys
as
well.

will
also
create
like
smarter
storage
markets
and,
like
add,
richer
functionality
to
these
storage
markets.
Like
I
said,
auto,
renewal
deals
or
self-repairing
of
deals
as
well.
So
we
can
say,
we've
got
really
resilient
data
storage
when
you
can
self-repair
deals
and
make
sure
it's
replicated
a
certain
number
of
times
really
kind
of
unlocking
some
enterprise
grade
storage
use
cases
as
well
as
some
really
unique
use
cases
that
you
can't
really
do
in
traditional,
centralized
storage
systems,
so
that
would
be
really
cool
and
also
enabling
kind
of
l2
bridges.

what
we
want
to
do
in
milestone
2.1
is
to
create
a
fully
evm
compatible
filecoin
virtual
machine.
In
parallel
with
this,
we're
also
going
to
be
creating
the
kind
of
tooling
and
infrastructure
around
a
native
filecoin
virtual
machine,
and
that's
going
to
be
you
know,
the
native
version
of
falcon
virtual
machine
will
be
milestone.

but
yeah.

really
exciting
is
that
people
that
are
already
in
this
ethereum
ecosystem
and
are
looking
for
a
better,
better
way
to
store
things
or
are
looking
for
these
kind
of
new
use
cases
will
be
able

port

current,

projects

avm

use
far
coin
as
a
storage
layer
all
in
the
same
contract.
So
that's
what's
happening
now
pretty
exciting
and,
as
molly
mentioned
as
well,
we're
also
opening
up.

we've

called
the
fbm
foundry
program.

overview
boost
is
a
standalone
replacement
for
the
lotus
market
subsystem.
So
any
of
the
markets
capabilities
that
you're
currently
doing
right
now
with
lotus
markets,
is
going
to
be
in
boost,
so
really
encourage
you
to
upgrade.
We
actually
built
boost
with
a
lot
of
the
feedback
that
you
had
given
us.
The
storage
rider
groups
had
given
us
back
in
the
fall.

So
what
do
you
get
with
boost?
You
get
better
visibility
into
your
system
with
a
new
web
ui.
We
have
added
additional
options
for
data
transfer,
with
fallback
support
for
existing
markets
if
you're
still
using
the
existing
market
systems,
we
also
have
more
tooling
support,
so
you
have
commands
for
car
file
generation
and
compete
generation,
and
today
you
can
use
it
with
your
estuary
and
binbot
deals.
So
that's
kind
of
a
quick
overview
boost
for
you
and
I
just
wanted
to
give
a
quick
update
for
our
latest
release.

have

releases

it's
compatible
with
the
newest
versions

that
some
of

asked
in
terms
of

is
fully
launched,

we're
adding
some
new
features
that
aren't,

guess

fully
released
yet

like
version
1.2,
for
example,
but
they're
in
release
candidates
for
1.1.

actually
have
an
experimental
feature.

it
kind
of
gives
you
more
guidance
and
information
how

test
out
these
new
features

just
you

also
know

are
kind

like

quickly
talk

retrieval
markets,

my
name
is
patrick.
I
am
the
technical
program
manager
for
retrieval
markets.
I
think
we
can
separate
retrieval
into
sort
of
two
topics.
One
is
the
primary
retrieval
market,
which
is
the
retrieval
from
storage
providers
and
the
second
one
is
a
secondary
retrieval
market,
which
is
sort
of
like
a
cdn
layer
or
decentralized
cdn
layer
on
top
of
this
original
primary
retrieval
market.

Also,
there's
a
team
called
tornado,
which
is
just
just
starting
up
inside
protocol
labs
and
they're,
looking
into
how
we
can
improve
retrieval
from
storage
providers,
they're
speaking
to
current
retrieval
clients,
so
teams
like
the
saturn
team
or
the
titan
team
and
others
who
are
going
to
be
clients
to
the
in
the
primary
retrieval
market,
retrieving
from
sps
to
find
out
what
sort
of
performance
and
reliability
they're
looking
to
achieve.
And
then
we
can
start
to
measure
these
retrievals
and
start
to.
You
know
build
build
in
that
performance
and
reliability.

If
we
then
move
across
to
the
secondary
retrieval
market,
we
have
a
retrieval
market
working
group
similar
to
the
storage
provider
working
groups,
in
this
case.
It's
just
for
retrieval
market
stuff
and
there's
15
teams
and
over
80
active
contributors
working
on
a
whole
bunch
of
different
projects,
which
include
four
retrieval
networks.

And
currently
we're
serving
45
of
the
ipfs
gateway
bandwidth.
So
it's
starting
to
to
deal
with
a
significant
amount
of
requests
and
load
akin
to
to
what
other
services
like
the
ipfs
they
are
dealing
with.
There
are
others
similar
to
saturn.
Titan
is
being
built
by
a
team
in
china,
meson
also
in
china,
head
to
meson.network
to
see
what
they're
building
and
we're
starting
to
speak
to
them
about
how
they
can
fit
far
coin
or
cash
missing
defile
coin
in
their
road
map.

Currently
a
lot
of
these
networks,
they
they
cash,
missed
the
ipfs
gateway,
while
that,
while
we
improve
the
actual
cash,
miss
to
storage
providers
in
this
primary
retrieval
market,
and
so
it's
if
we
can
really
if
we
can
work
on
that
primary
retrieval
market,
it's
going
to
be
a
really
high
leverage
thing
to
get
all
of
these
cdns
to
work
work
with
far
coin
and
to
create
this
island
economy.
That
is
the
vision
of
the
farcoin
network
in
terms
of
roadmap.
Saturn
is
looking
to
well.

We've
got
36
points
of
presence
which
are
all
in
a
private
mainnet
and
by
the
end
of
q3.
We
should
be
seeing
this
open
publicly,
where
anyone
can
run
a
point
of
presence.
So
what
does
this
mean
for
storage
providers?
Storage
providers
if
they're
interested
could
also
run
a
saturn
node
if
they
have
any
spare
hardware
they'd
like
to
give
towards
this
this
initiative,
it
would
be
a
sort
of
a
separate
thing
to
running
a
storage
provider.

wouldn't
be
the
same
thing,
but
you
know
it's
just
part
of
the
whole
ecosystem:
okay,
shorter
presentations
quickly,
just
gonna
mention
magma
as
well
they're,
building
multi-hop
payment
channels,
which
is
relevant
to
storage
providers,
because
this
means,
rather
than
every
retrieval
client
having
to
create
a
unique
payment
channel
with
each
storage
provider.
We
can
actually
have
a
payment
channel
manager
which
can
reduce
that
number
of
payment
channels
and
increase
the
reliability
and
performance
of
paid
retrievals
head.

governance

little
bit
more
slowly
than
the
rest
of
the
ecosystem
by
design.
