great
that
people
are
being

of

project
that
started,

think,
about
three
four
years
ago
and
we
were
looking
at
just
rewriting
the
editing
experience
in
wordpress
just
completely
rethinking
it
and
it
it
iterated
for
for
a
couple
of
years
and
eventually
was
released
in
in
wordpress
5.0
about
a
year
and
a
half
ago.
It's
it
it's
a
big
project
to
to
rewrite
kind
of
the
central
experience
of
a
content
management
system,
and
we
were
it's.

had
to
get
it
to
a
point
where,
where
we
felt
that
it
was
better
than
the
existing
thing,
that
was
already
there,
but
it's
it's
gone
really.
Well,
it's
been
we've
of
course
been
iterating
and
improving
it
for
the.
Since
it

launched
it's

kind
of
the
base
for
the
mobile
apps
as
well,
because
it's
all
built
in
react,
then
it
can
be
compiled
with
react
native.

a
really

good
experiment

ultimately,

product

transforming
how

wordpress
does

other
projects
are
doing

scaling
issues

maintainer
community
is
a
group
of
maintainers,

absolutely
love
supporting
maintainers

as
we
know,

good
chunk
of

world,

think
it's

like
that

of
software
is
built
on
open
source,
so
by

supporting
maintainers
like
yourself
and
supporting
projects
like
wordpress,
we're
able
to
support
open
source

continue

make

source

software

it
really

the

people

it's

bringing
together
a
community
of
communities
of
people
who
are

share
whatever
the
topic
happens
to
be
in

maintain
for
the
maintainers
community,
it's

experience

maintaining
large
projects

who
have
used
wordpress

contribute

it

who
build
