From YouTube: GitLab 13.11 Kickoff - Enablement:Distribution
Description
Learn more about the features Distribution is working on for 13.11
A
Hi
everyone,
my
name,
is
dylan
marino
and
I'm
the
product
manager
for
distribution,
and
today
we're
going
to
be
going
over
our
scheduled
release
for
13.11,
which
will
be
delivered
on
april
22nd.
A
Another
thing
that
we're
going
to
be
working
on
is
a
big
release
coming
up,
which
is
14.0
so
closing
out
any
deprecated
work
that
needs
to
be
finished
up
for
our
14.00
release.
Next,
in
line
for
our
priorities,
will
be
our
openshift
beta,
which
might
be
a
familiar
one.
This
is
work
in
progress
again
from
13.10,
and
this
is
important
to
support
our
red
hat
customers,
as
well
as
a
great
foundation
for
our
work
and
delivering
cloud-native
installations
of
gitlab.

Another
key
issue
that
we
have
here
is
allowing
our
scik
deployments
to
have
differing
timeouts
and
another
issue
related
to
that
is
termination
grace
period
seconds,
not
configurable
for
the
sidekick
chart.
So
both
of
these
are
related
to
large
instances,
and
people
want
to
customize
sidekick
or
other
services
in
their
web
service
fleet
to
basically
tune
them
per
applications.
