Description
Kickoff Video for the 13.9 GitLab release for the Plan:Certify group.
Planning Issue - https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/plan/-/issues/236#certify-mark-kickoff-video
A
Hello,
everyone
and
welcome
to
the
13.8
gitlab
kickoff
for
the
plan
certified
group.
This
theme
of
the
release
this
month
is
to
work
through
a
spike
surrounding
the
future
of
linking
test
cases
and
requirements
as
we're
really
looking
forward
to
presenting
a
cohesive
and
efficient
experience
for
our
users
for
planning
information.
Here,
we've
worked
through
our
ongoing
velocity
and
sectioned
off
the
amount
of
velocities
slated
for
the
certified
group,
which
is
around
13
points,
there's
very
little
carryover
thanks
to
a
wonderful
job
by
the
engineering
team.
A
Now,
there's
a
lot
of
information
in
this
issue,
though,
as
far
as
sort
of
where
we
want
to
go
with
this.
What
we're
really
looking
to
do
is
get
the
engineering
team
involved
early
and
ensure
that
we're
looking
at
a
solution,
that's
feasible
from
an
engineering
perspective
and
still
meets
the
needs
of
the
customers.
A
A
A
The
final
thing
is
we're
going
to
improve
our
backlog
of
bugs
slightly
by
allowing
quick
actions
in
the
service
desk
initial
email.
So
when
you
first
email
the
service
desk,
currently
it
does
not
allow
for
any
quick
actions
to
be
part
of
that
email,
while
the
email
does
allow
for
code,
snippets
and
responses,
and
things
like
that,
what
we'd
like
to
be
able
to
do
is
allow
users
to
label
issues
in
the
initial
service
desk
email
and
provide
a
certain
amount
of
support
for
those
quick
actions.
A
We
have
the
issue
written
and
we're
planning
on
us
implementing
that
currently
in
the
13.9
time
frame,
as
always
I'll,
go
ahead
and
link
this
planning
issue
below
the
video
here.
If
there
are
any
questions,
please
reach
out
to
us
on
any
of
these
issues,
leave
a
comment
or
set
up
a
time
to
talk
to
me.
I'd
be
more
than
happy
to
talk
through
your
use
cases
for
certify.
Thank
you
so
much
and
have
a
great
day.
