From YouTube: GitLab 14.8 Kickoff - Verify:Testing
Description
Kicking off the Verify Testing 14.8 milestone, which features great strides for Build artifacts and usability for credit card validation related to greater Verify stage priority. UX will also take some time to dive into our UX priorities for the next few milestones!

A
My
name
is
jackie,
porter,
the
acting
verify
testing
product
manager
and,
as
a
reminder,
the
testing
group
is
responsible
for
all
your
testing
needs
in
gitlab
from
review
apps
for
previewing
changes,
unit,
testing,
accessibility
and
performance
testing,
as
well
as
visibility
and
to
build
artifacts.
Today
we
are
kicking
off
the
14.8
milestone,
which
features
great
strides
for
build,
artifacts
and
usability
for
credit
card
validation,
which
is
related
to
a
greater
verified
stage.
Priority
gina
will
also
take
some
time
to
dive
into
our
ux
priorities.
For
the
next
few
milestones.
A
First,
priority
for
the
milestone
will
be
to
make
sure
job
artifacts
are
reflected
correctly
when
projects
are
deleted
today
upon
project
deletion,
artifacts
are
deleted.
Although
the
function
to
run
the
calculation
of
artibox
size
is
also
deleted,
so
the
statistics
for
storage
consumed
are
not
updated
properly.
This
issue
will
ensure
that
we
are
reflecting
the
accurate
job
artifact
size
for
that
namespace.
A
A
second
issue
related
to
the
visibility
of
job
artifacts
in
the
ui
is
for
test
results
that
are
expired
on
the
unit
test
report.
So
in
this
particular
issue,
we'll
be
adding
text
the
job
view
under
the
test.
Tab
that
states
test
details
are
populated
by
job
artifacts.
The
job
artifacts
from
this
pipeline
are
expired.
A
B
So
we've
we've
noted
multiple
times
before
that
review.
Apps.
The
experience
has
some
gaps
today
and
to
be
able
to
fully
examine
the
review
app
experience.
We
want
to
carry
out
a
ux
scorecard
and
we'll
be
able
to
evaluate
the
whole
process.
B
This
will
help
us
focus
on
one
goal
and
specific
tasks
related
to
that
goal
and
then
rate
the
experience
today
and
come
up
with
recommendations
on
how
to
improve
it.
It's
quite
a
large
effort,
but
it
will
be
worth
it
as
we
should
come
out
with
a
vision
of
how
review
apps
will
evolve
over
time,
which
will
be
great
and
that's
actually
all
that
I
have
from
the
ux
side.
So
I'll
pass
it
back
to
you,
jackie.
A
Gina,
I'm
so
excited
for
this
work.
This
is
such
a
great
overview.
Thank
you
for
taking
some
time
to
present
it
to
our
users
and
community
in
14.8.
We're
going
to
be
contributing
to
a
greater
verify
stage,
effort
which
includes
the
credit
card
validation,
experience
that
we
put
in
place
to
mitigate
some
crypto
mining
abuse
that
we
felt
earlier
last
year.
A
This
particular
experience
will
be
adding
a
validate
credit
card
modal
once
the
user
toggles
enables
shared
runners,
even
if
the
user
has
dismissed
the
alert
for
credit
card
validation
prior
by
making
this
experience,
action
based
users
will
be
able
to
easily
validate
their
card
when
they
enable
runners
say
that
they
previously
had
any
enable
runners
toggled
off
that
really
wraps
up
14.8
for
the
testing
group.
This
is
going
to
be
such
a
great
release
and
thank
you
for
watching.
