Hi, this is a quick video to demo the functionality of using predefined project variables in the include section of gitlab ci, dot yaml. So for the purpose of this demo, I have two gitlab ci ml files, the primary one being gitlab ci dot yaml and the secondary one being compliance gitlab, ci yaml.

To give you an overview, the gitlab ci ml file has three stages, very simple, build test and deploy, and the compliance configuration has three stages: three test stages: specs compliance and security. The current pipeline looks like this, um inheriting from the inheriting the configurations from the gitlab ci ml file.

So what we would be doing now is uh include the compliance git lab configuration ci configurations into the primary one and uh we would be using predefined project variables to do this. Inclusion.

So, as you can see over here, we have referenced the ci project path and the file that we are, including is the compliance gitlab ci amin. So let's go ahead and commit the changes.

So the configuration is valid, which is good. Now, uh let's check whether the configuration has been applied.

So this is the latest pipeline and, as you can see, we have the configurations from both the primary, as well as the secondary compliance, gitlab ci, dot, yaml.
