From YouTube: GitLab 14.5 Kickoff - Configure:Configure
A
Hello
to
the
14.5
release
kickoff
video
of
the
configure
team.
My
name
is
itanaj
and
I'm
here
to
guide
us
through
this
for
our
plans
for
the
4.5
milestone.
What
do
we
plan
first?
As
you
guys
know,
from
our
planning
issue
we
have
outlined
here
the
goals
up
to
this
horizontal
line.
We
think
all
of
these
are
deliverables
and
if
you
are
more
interested
in
the
long-term
roadmap,
it's
linked
in
the
planning
issue
or
you
can
look
at
our
planning
board
as
well.
A
I
will
show
that
at
the
very
end
of
this
video,
what
do
we
plan
to
deliver?
First
of
all,
we
want
to
improve
the
ux
around
our
kubernetes
management
in
general,
and
for
this
we
have
a
few
issues
scheduled.
First
of
all,
we
are
working
for
a
long
time
on
rewriting
the
whole
ux
around
our
comments
section
of
gitlab
itself,
and
for
that
we
almost
finished
with
implementing
these
designs.
A
As
you
can
see,
this
is
features
the
agent
as
a
first
class
entity
within
gitlab
is
the
recommended
approach,
but
it
has
space
for
certificates
based
integrations
as
well,
and
the
tabs
here
are
actually
the
existing
designs
that
we
already
have
why
these
ones
kind
of
showcase,
the
agent
at
first.
Of
course,
we
have
empty
state
designs
as
well.
If
somebody
uses
only
certificate
based
only
an
agent-based
integration.
A
A
A
A
Followingly.
We
have
a
few
outstanding
issues
around
user
and
job
impersonation
and
what
we
call
impersonating
personalization
as
well.
These
are
related
to
ci
tunnel.
This
enables
way
more
fine-grained
control
over
who
can
run
a
specific
ci
job,
and
we
plan
to
keep
this
as
a
premium
feature
in
even
the
long
term,
once
the
core
features
are
moved
to
gitlab
free
for
this.
These
are
design
less
features,
and
I
just
opened
one
of
the
epics
here,
but
usually
these
contain
two
issues,
at
least,
and
just
add
these
impersonation
features
to
dc
item.
A
The
next
item
is
to
provide
an
omnibus
based,
install
support
for
the
kubernetes
ci
tunnel,
something
we
don't
have
at
this
point
yet
and
we
hope
to
deliver
this
in
14.5
as
well.
We
have
received
quite
a
few
requests
from
users
looking
into
who
are
using
gitlab
with
omnibus
look
that
they
would
like
to
try
out
the
ci
tunnel
and
it's
not
available,
so
we
are
really
excited
to
deliver
this
feature.
A
A
This
is
to
be
delivered
primarily
by
nicholas,
and
secondly
by
me,
so
it's
not
an
engineering
effort.
If
you
can
do
it,
then
it
would
be
nice
and,
as
I
promised
you
can,
this
is
our
planning
board
soon.
Even
our
current
milestone
board
will
look
the
same
here.
You
can
see
all
these
issues
that
I
just
spoke
about,
and
we
have
a
few
stretch
items
as
well.
If
you
get
there,
one
issue
to
be
noted
is
this
first
one
that
I
haven't
spoken
about.
A
This
is
actually
a
severity
one
bug
found
in
the
telephone
registry
that
we
definitely
want
to
ship.
It's
almost
ready,
that's
why
I
didn't
spoke
much
about
that
and
it's
not
really
a
product,
but
it's
more.
It's
a
bug
fix
that
we
want
to
be
fixed
as
soon
as
possible.
