From YouTube: Dev Section Devies - Slicing the Nameplate
Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
Okay,
now,
let's
slice
the
name
plate,
I'm
going
to
go
grab
that
nameplate
file,
nameplate.stl
and
you'll,
see
it.
It
show
up
here
and
that's
about
as
big
as
we
need
it.
So
you
don't
need
to
change
the
scale
factor
on
this
one,
but
you
do
need
to
slice
it.
So,
let's
hit
the
slice
button,
it'll
slice
the
model,
and
now
what
you
need
to
do
is
the
same
thing.
A
You
did
if
you,
if
you
created
your
own
g-code
for
the
tanuki
you'll
grab
this
bottom
element
there
in
the
ui
and
you'll,
drag
it
up
slowly
until
you
found
the
layer
this
one's
much
easier,
because
it's
not
as
big
of
a
model
but
you'll
find
which
layer,
the
top
of
the
plate
itself
disappears,
and
it's
just
the
lettering.
Okay,
you'll
click
that
plus
button.
You
can
drag
the
interface
back
down,
and
now
you
have
the
two
colors
you'll
start
this
print
with
with
orange
and
then
you'll
add
the
purple
as
the
second
color.
