We also cover how to add suggested content blog articles to a topic page.

Hello, lauren barker here got siri watching all sneaky style and we're gonna go over this week's um netlify resource uh learning video. So I will start by sharing my screen right here. um So first thing: we're going to go over is finding your mr and looking at a review app, so you can get there from this handbook page right at the top. We've got this resources section, and these are the super handy, very important links down here.

We can see one current merge request with the tag netlify cms draft, there's other ones for pending review or pending, publish, and these links will take you to where all merge requests currently exist with those labels.

So click on this guy and I can see here's my um blog post- that I created- I'm not gonna post this, but um I called it bandsurfing and you can see here- is the uh that is the merge request and if we go back over to our workflow, we can see here it is in netlify.

Cms it'll take a little while to load, but this will bring up the screen where you can actually write your blog post.

Add your pictures title all that- and I just put some bogus content in here of course linked a picture of my van and a super awesome title um and here's the mr, mr, is really important because it still exists and it's the way where you can actually view what this page is going to look like, and you always go by what the mr review app is showing, because that's how it's going to look when it's actually deployed- and we just launched a new template yesterday.

So it looks beautiful, pulls in related posts um below and there you go. um I will close that mr later cause, there's nothing in there. um The second thing I'm going to show is adding suggested content to a topic template, and if we go to my back to my work to uh workflow tab, we can see that there is another entry here for child topic pages, and this is going to bring up uh another draft that we have in flight and this is opened by.

I believe chrissy and I've just gone in here and added three blog posts at the bottom, for these uh suggested content, and it just needs to be the ending part of the url and again head back to this uh link. If I open open all merge requests with the review we can see here is the mr related to those changes.

um Super cool you go to this commit tab you can see here is the commit that I made where I added those related contents. So you can really dive deep and see exactly what I changed and when, but this is great because you can look at now. The thing is, if you click on the review app from here, it's just going to take you to the home page, that's not very cool for us, because we need to know the actual url.

I know that this is a child topic, cicd page and then it's just the last part of your branch name and then it'll bring up. This will be the actual url that gets published when it deploys. But here is the mr uh page and you can go look at it looks great and we can see these related content blobs and I love this block because it looks cool.

Does things it's blog posts, um so those are just some quick little netlify cms tips, and I just want to reiterate it's very important to find that mr and take a look at that review. App because that's that's how you're gonna know what you're changing is gonna. Look how you want it to um all right. That's all! I got for now later.
