Description
This video walks through our proposal for updates to the 'features' section of the main website navigation.
A
A
I
want
to
talk
to
you
about
how
we
came
up
with
our
list
before
I
launch
into
it.
I
want
to
acknowledge
that
what
we
at
gitlab
internally
called
capabilities,
I
will
be
referring
to
as
features
the
term
features,
is
a
more
widely
used
term.
That's
search
friendly
and
is
more
likely
to
resonate
with
potential
customers
visiting
our
website,
all
right.
So,
let's
get
into
it.
So,
as
you're
probably
aware,
we
recently
launched
an
updated
site
navigation.
A
A
A
A
So
and
when
I
say
we
I
use
loosely,
I
should
say
what
cindy
came
up
with.
So,
let's
take
a
look
so
under
platform
features.
These
are
our
new
proposed
sections,
continuous
integration
and
delivery,
which
we
do
have
as
a
page
currently
as
well
as
source
code
management,
which
nbc
one
is
complete,
and
then
we
would
have
a
security
page
which
would
include
content
from
devsecop
and
the
security
page.
A
So
where
we
would
discuss
or
have
content
about
the
trust
center,
then
we
would
have
compliance
which
would
include
license
compliance,
compliance,
dashboard,
audit
events,
audit
logs
and
assets
access
management.
We
have
agile
planning,
planning,
road
maps,
issue
boards
and
epics
value
stream.
Metrics
or
possibly,
visibility
or
observability,
and
then
we'll
decide
later,
which
term
would
work
best
for
that
one.
A
Software
supply
supply
chain
security,
which
would
include
access
management,
merge,
requests
approvals,
we'd
have
governance,
which
would
include
mr
approvals
code
owners,
push
rules
analytics
and
dashboards,
which
would
have
operations,
dashboards
security,
dashboards,
compliance
dashboards.
All
the
dashboards
milestones,
dora
for
metrics
and
value
stream,
managements
we'd
have
git
ops,
which
would
include
merge
trains
and
possibly
other
features
and
then
a
link
to
view
all
features
which
would
point
to
our
current
features,
page,
which
displays
all
the
more
granular
features
and
those
each
linked
to
docs.
A
So
that's
it
for
now.
I
want
to
add
that
the
features
for
each
one
of
these
groupings
are
still
a
work
in
progress
and
not
complete.
We're
still.
We've
still
got
some
dialogue
around
those,
but
this
is
where
we're
at
at
the
moment.
So
thank
you
for
your
time.
If
you
have
any
questions
or
feel
a
feedback
feel
free
to
contribute
to
an
issue
that
I'll
be
linking
somewhere
near
this
video.
