Description

A
Hello, this is a demo for this.
Mr samr introduces a new rake task, that that will talk to the Future flag API and that API will be the right to turn on and off the maintenance mode that will allow for the fact that we're doing all of this through direct desk will allow for some logging.
A
Let's give that a try.
A
So that's the right task here.
I have on my local gitlab a project with these picture flag here, a maintenance mode feature flag.
That's turned on now before moving forward.
I need to know the ID of this project, which is two all right in order to test it.
A
We have the client git gitlab app protocol here and that the URL so I'm going I'm going to replace the customers.project ID here with.
A
The project ID of my local instance.
A
All right- and here we are going to open the logs.
A
Let's go here, and so we have that feature flag, that is on.
A
And we're going to turn it off.
A
Customers.Maintenance mode is now off and in my log file, this is what I have some logging and just also in the logs, indicating where this maintenance, you know, that's the right task, direct task responsible for that.
A
And now itself: let's try to turn it back on.
A
Blogging, customers, dot maintenance mode is now on.
A
There we go, and now, if we do some say, error handling if I turn it off.
For example,.
A
And I have this error message.
A
And if, let's say we're, not busing anything here,.
A
And no logging occurs because there's no real event happening, but we have this error message and that's that's the demo.
