From YouTube: Reviewing MRs with GitPod
Description
This is a quick walkthrough on how to review an MR using the GitPod Chrome extension.
A
So
I'm
already,
assuming
that
you
kind
of
have
it
installed
and
you
have
you're
using
the
chrome
extension
here
and
then
I
could
go
into
how
to
set
it
up,
and
I
added
some
links
in
our
in
our
docs
here
and
how
to
set
it
up.
Here's
some
setup
instructions
and
there's
also
the
slack
channel
for
this
all
right.
So
anyways
I'll
go
back.
So
I
have
this,
mr
that
I'm
supposed
to
review
and
then
the
easiest
thing
to
do.
You
know
once
you
have
the
extension
here.
A
So
just
do
that
log
in
here
probably
prompt
me
again
to
put
a
new
password.
So
I'll
just
do.
A
A
All
right
so
now
I'm
in
and
so
now
I
just
need
to
look
at
what
did
I
need
to
review,
so
this
is
some
text,
that's
on
the
for
the
fl
flow
dock
integration.
So
now
that
I'm
logged
in
there
I
could
just
go
to
like
any
one
of
these
projects.
A
I
mean
it
obviously
helps
to
know
where,
where
this
thing
is,
that
you're
reviewing
to
inside
the
app
so
I'm
going
to
go,
there
look
for
flow
dock.
A
And
then
so
this
should
be
already
on
that,
mr
and
you
could
see,
you
could
always
double
check
to
make
sure
that
you
are
in
that.
Let's
see
you're
out,
you
are
on
that
branch
by
just
doing
like
a
git
status
here.
A
Yeah
right
here
so
those
should
match,
I
mean,
and
that's
pretty
that's
pretty
much
it.
So
it's
pretty
fast,
it
does
take
a
little
bit.
Long
does
take
a
little
bit
of
time
to
kind
of
load
up
the
image
you
know
once
you've.
You
know
once
you
load
it
up,
but
it's
pretty
worth
it
and
then
you
could
you
know.
Let's
say
you
want
to
review
another.
A
Mr
you
know,
instead
of
doing
that,
you
know
again
you
you
could
you
could
just
load
up
spit
up
another
image,
but
let's
say
I
had
another,
mr
review.
I
could
just
go
to
that
mr
and
copy
that
branch
and
then
just
go
back
here
and
then
just
manually
check
out
that
branch
on
this
instance
and
just
kind
of
keep
working
since
it's
already
booted
up.
So
it's
kind
of
like
your
gdk
in
the
in
the
cloud
yeah
any
questions.
A
I
think
that's
pretty
much
it
it's
not
that
that
much
to
show-
maybe
maybe
the
setup
process
is
a
little
bit
more,
but
since
I
had
it
set
up
already,
I
kind
of
don't
remember
what
that
process
was
like,
but
it's
I
thought
it
was
pretty
easy
as
well.
B
Yeah,
I
think
that
makes
sense.
Okay,
I
think
after
I
do
the
setup
myself
I
can
play
around
with
it
a
little
bit
and
get
comfortable,
but
I
think
it's
similar
enough
to
gdk
that
I
feel
like
I'll
be
able
to
navigate
through
it.
So.
A
Yeah,
you
have
all
your
gdk
or
like
your
terminal
stuff
here.
If
you
need
it,
so
that's
always
helpful
and-
and
you
could
also
just
open
up
this
in
a
whole
new
window.
You
know
if
you
need
more
space.
A
A
A
Well,
what
I
will
do
is,
like
you
know,
I'll
make
I'll
first,
maybe
check
in
the
slack
or
that
pot
of
gdk
channel
to
see
if
it's
like
a
known
issue,
if
there's
something,
if
there's
a
quick
fix
for
it,
actually
I'll
do
that
first
and
then,
if
not,
if
no
one
else
is
experiencing
it,
it's
something
that
just
is
on
my
machine
that
I
need
to
fix
or
something
I'll
I'll,
maybe
try
to
fiddle
around
with
it
a
little
bit
and
then
I'll
just
try
to
do
the
gdk
just
to
not
waste
time
sounds
good
yeah,
all
right,
let
me
and
then,
and
then
I
showed
you
like,
you
could
always
also
go
to
the
get
get
pod
spaces
and
that's
where
you'll
see
all
your
your
different
instances
that
are
running.
B
And
this
might
be
a
bit
off
topic,
but
I
saw
there
was
security
issues
with
get
pod
this
week
and
slack.
What
was
that
and
how
does
it
affect
kind
of
like?
What's
going
on.
A
Yeah,
so
they
did
have
some
kind
of
security
breach,
but
apparently
they
patched
it
already,
but
it's
still
it's
a
good
idea.
If
you
had
it
set
up.
If
you
go
to
your
profile,
sorry,
under
under
accounts,
like
the
I
think
the
setup
was
a
little
bit
different
initially
when,
when
setting
it
up,
you
had
to
you
had
to
set
up
your
like
api
tokens.
I
think
fort
lauderdale
is
under
here.
Actually
sorry,
one
sec
and
so
yeah
I'll
show
you
I'll
show
you
what
that
looked
like.
A
B
A
A
B
B
Do
it,
let
me
just
open
up
another.
A
Okay,
I'll
I'll
I'll
leave
it
running
then
I'll.
Let
you
share
your
screen
that
you
could
walk
through
it.
B
A
Go
yeah,
my
new.
My
new
thing
is
trying
to
at
the
end
of
every
week,
just
completely
close,
chrome
out
and
then
just
always
start
with
a
fresh
new
window
on
monday,
just
so
cause
I've
had
weeks
where
I
had
like
the
same
couple.
Windows
opened
up
with
like
20
tabs
and
each
maybe
more
in
each
window.
So.
B
B
So
it
looks
like
you
start
by
opening
slink.
A
Yep
and
then
you
would
yep
just
sign
in
as
lab
yes,
so
this
one
so
once
you
authorize
it
here,
that's
when
it
adds
that
it
will
add
that
token
to
your
applications,
there.
A
So
yeah,
even
the
setup,
is
pretty
easy.
It
didn't
used
to
be.
I
think
this
easy
when
I
first
started
using
it
so.
B
A
A
I
was
telling
you
to
check
the
branch,
the
branch
name-
it's
actually
also
in
the
bottom
of
that
little
toolbar.
So
you
can
see
it.
You
don't
have
to
do
a
git
status.
It's
like
actually
visible
there.
I
just
realized.
A
That
little
blue
bar
down
there
yeah
it
says
like
a
master
right,
so
you
can.
B
A
Maybe
I
keep
running,
maybe
just
do
a
quick
search.
I
don't
know
if
the
documentation
has
does
it
say
anything
about
that
chrome
extension
or
the
extension
at
all
that
I
didn't
see
that
anywhere.
Maybe
that's
something
that
you
should
add
at
some
point.
A
B
Let's
get
it
yeah,
that's
actually
a
good
idea
when
I'm
reading,
when
I'm
reading
through
all
of
it,
I
can
kind
of
figure
out
where
it
would
best
fit
in
the
whole
setup
process,
but
awesome.
A
Perfect
yeah
yeah,
I
don't
know
what
happens
at
this
point,
but
I
think
it's
just
spinning
up
a
new
image
and
it
might
be
just
done
at
that
point.
I
think
it
might
be
set
up
if
you
want
to
just
verify
that
you're
set
up,
go
back
to
your
get,
get
lab
account
and
then
just
go
to
your
yeah
under
your
profile.
There
yeah,
maybe
correct
references,
profilia
and
then
under
account
or
yeah,
try
access
tokens
to
see
if
they
actually
put
it
there.
A
I
don't
think
it
did,
but
no
just
stop
stop
under
applications.
Then.
A
B
Awesome
well
that
was
much
simpler
than
I
expected,
so
I
don't
think
I
don't
think
I
need
much
else
I'll
do
some
reading
about
it,
but
this
is
like
a
great
overview
of
how
to
use
it
and
stuff.
