A
Hi
everyone,
my
name-
is
Matt
Gonzalez
and
I'm.
The
p.m.
for
the
compliance
group
in
the
manage
stage
here
at
git
lab
I'm
excited
about
our
12
7
release
because
we'll
be
introducing
some
changes
that
should
improve
the
quality
of
life
for
our
compliance
minded
customers,
one
of
our
biggest
additions
will
be
adding
functionality
that
enables
administrators
to
control
who
can
edit
merge
request
approval
settings
at
the
project
level.
This
change
will
give
admins
more
control
of
their
instance
and
help
enforce
the
separation
of
duties
concept
within
gitlab.
A
We're
also
looking
to
add
better
control
for
user
identities
by
giving
admins
an
option
to
prevent
a
user
from
changing
their
profile
name.
This
is
important
for
non-repudiation,
so
you
always
know
who
made
what
change
or
who
took
some
action
on
the
audit
events
front,
we'll
be
making
some
usability
improvements
at
the
project
level.
We'll
add
a
default
sorting
method,
so
the
logs
make
sense,
we'll
also
be
adding
filtering
to
the
audit
events
tables
in
general.
So
you
can
find
the
information
you
need
with
less
friction.
A
As
we
make
our
audit
events
data
more
comprehensive,
it's
important.
We
make
them
more
useable
to
having
access
to
a
treasure.
Trove
of
data
isn't
useful.
If
you
can't
easily
find
the
information
you
need.
I'm
excited
to
be
laying
the
foundation
for
many
more
exciting
features.
Plan
for
2020
to
support
our
customers
and
their
compliance
needs
have
a
great
and
safe
holiday
season,
and
thanks
for
watching.
