From YouTube: GitLab 13.1 Kickoff - Defend:Container Security
Description
Container Security group kickoff for the 13.1 release
A
All
right,
my
name
is
Sam
I'm,
a
senior
product
manager
here
at
get
lab,
and
today
I'm
going
to
be
doing
the
release
kickoff
for
a
13.1
release
for
the
container
security
group.
So
in
13.1
we
have
planned
two
issues
which
are
to
view
policies
and
enable
and
disable
policies.
Both
of
these
are
some
issues
from
the
overall
epoch,
which
is
to
introduce
an
initial
security
policy
UI
and
in
here
we're
really
targeting
and
keeping
with
our
iteration
value.
A
Currently,
the
plan
is
to
put
this
under
security
and
compliance
in
the
threat,
monitoring
page
and
then
to
have
a
new
sub
cabin
here
called
policies,
and
when
you
click
on
that,
what
you'll
get
is
a
list
of
your
container
network
policies
that
have
been
created
and
you'll
be
able
to
filter
those
by
environment
and
you'll
also
be
able,
as
you
click
on
those
you'll,
be
able
to
enable
or
disable
each
policy
at
an
individual
basis.
For
this
MVC.
A
We're
only
incorporating
psyllium
or
container
network
policies,
so
we
have
yet
to
do
maaan
security
or
web
application
firewall
or
secure
type
policies,
also,
notably
in
this
iteration,
we're
not
introducing
the
ability
to
create
edit
or
delete
policies
and
again
that's
just
in
keeping
with
our
iteration
value.
We
plan
to
expand
upon
that
in
future
releases
to
filled
out
this
policy
management
UI
a
little
bit
more,
but
for
now
this
is
just
our
first
pass
at
getting
something
out
the
door
so
that
we
can
start
to
get
feedback
on
how
that
policy
management
works.
