A
Hi,
this
is
derek
ferguson,
the
interim
senior
product
manager
for
the
gidley
group
here
at
gitlab,
and
today
I'm
going
to
be
going
over
what
we
are
working
on
in
the
13
7
release
of
git
lab.
So
the
first
thing
that
we
have
going
on
is
that
we
will
continue
work
on
the
variable
replication
factor
for
giddley
cluster.
A
This
allows
for
users
with
giddily
cluster
to
horizontally
scale,
their
storage
within
the
cluster,
as
well
as
specify
for
each
repository
exactly
how
many
times
it's
replicated
across
the
cluster.
This
allows
for
more
active
repositories
to
be
scaled
up
more
and
for
more
inactive
repositories
to
be
scaled
down
to
optimize
storage
usage
within
the
nodes.
A
A
Continuing
on
a
theme
that
we've
had
for
several
releases
of
improving
stability
and
performance
of
gili,
we
are
going
to
continue
our
work
on
moving
giddily
code
from
ruby
into
go
to
allow
for
better
performing
code
within
the
rpc
calls
for
all
of
italy
and
then,
finally,
we
are
going
to
continue
working
on
partial
clone.
A
This
will
also
help
with
local
storage
in
not
cloning,
those
large
files
that
you
may
or
may
not
be
working
on
at
that
time.
Those
are
the
big
things
that
we
have
going
on.
Obviously,
we
will
continue
to
work
on
multiple
bug
fixes,
as
well
as
more
stability
and
performance
improvements
across
the
board.
A
Thank
you
very
much
for
listening,
and
I
hope
that
you
will
comment
on
these
issues
for
things
that
are
important
to
you
and
let
us
know
what
you
are
looking
for
in
gilly
in
the
next
few
releases.
All
right,
thank
you
very
much.
